There are 2 other parts of the quest you have to do. I would suggest to explore the event area a bit more and I am sure you will find the other parts of the quest.

@black2white2Do you have the two other Gems from the other quest-parts as well? You need a total of three Gems for the Guards to let you pass.

That only applies for the first time. After leaving the Forest Master room once you will have to find a different location you have to interact with as the hint on the stone plate will tell you.

You should be able to catch Keldeo again where you first caught it in the cave.

The 3 objects you have to interact with are randomized for everyone so you have to try different objects to proceed with the quest. I guess you followed some guide for that quest but that wont work as the items are not the same for you.
