  3. You probably need to show some sort of evidence for that. Gale Wings, dear friend x) Gale Wings gives priority to Flying type moves only. Flare Blitz is a Fire type move.

  6. I use a similar build. Smogon CurseLax EVs & Nature but with Curse, Amnesia, Body Slam and Crunch. Sometimes need to Will o Wisp the opponent's lead (especially those with fighting moves), setup then solo.

  10. Unlocked as requested Thanks very much <3 just gonna leave this here I know all those facts. They don't contradict any of the points I made in my original post though. Official games are different to the MMO environment we have here. In the official games you're able to breed like I mentioned in my original post, which you seem to have dodged. Not on PRO. This may not be a huge issue for common Pokemon, but it is a pretty big one for the rarer ones that have already been mentioned in this thread, and the ones that I would definitely have missed. I could even give a related example: Clefable can be encountered in the wild (Moon) but you can't teach it Moonblast. Stinky scenario if you find an epic Clefable tbh... You'll have to stick to Disarming Voice or wait for Dazzling Gleam TM which isn't as useful as Moonblast. I'm gonna repeat myself here, because somehow people seem to miss it. It's limiting our options. It took me a good 2-3 days (seriously) to decide if I wanted to get rid of Ancient Power on my Togekiss. And I did in the end... What's going to happen if I wanted to get it back? Or another move? Hunt for a new one? I hunted 5h+ a day for 1.5-2 weeks for the said Togekiss. Should I really be forced to go through the same process just for a change in moveset? What happened to altering original game mechanics to accommodate MMO environment? No offense, but I don't need to see facts. There's not a single post that renders my arguments useless.

  14. This thread was created when Focus Sashes costed 50 PvP coins a piece. Also were obtainable from bosses. Then they implemented a vendor who sold them for 5k pd each, which was great. But somehow they decided to remove that NPC and now the only way to get them is by spending 2 PvP coins or obtaining some from bosses. Which means you have to be consistently winning PvP battles in order to keep using them, or finding people who would sell Focus Sashes. Same applies to Weakness Policy. I've explained more in this thread. To summarize, they're not viable unless you have a good record. The irony here is that the usage of FS/WP is needed to help a player win battles, but they would need to win battles in order to obtain them... If they have a FS/WP holder in their team that is.

  17. I find that hard to believe, there's definitely a misunderstanding/misinformation. If staff were able to disable certain moves for PvP, the moves listed in "Bugged moves/bannable" would have been disabled in PvP instead of asking players to not use the listed moves.
  18. That's not true, it's just bugged. I have used Baton Pass several times in PvP. Sometimes it works and I see "X used Baton Pass", sometimes it just doesn't and switches to the next Pokemon like I had chosen to switch normally.
  19. Well it would be twice as better but you would still need to consistently win PvP battles to get them. I honestly don't understand the idea behind it. Getting items that would help you win battles should not require you to win battles. You need those items to win battles in the first place. Non consumables are understandable as you don't need to consistently win battles for them. You'd need to win 50 or you can just farm Poke$ and buy them from other players and they won't just disappear after they're used. If you're not winning battles consistently, consumables need to be constantly supplied by those who do so you can buy from them and that is very unlikely to be reliable.

  21. Just wanted to bump this once again. Focus Sash and Weakness Policy are pretty much not viable for those who don't consistently win PvP battles.
  22. Yep, it's certainly an important problem but I think the online count is the main cause of that. Unless match making is always random. I agree with everything you said. Spot on. :y:
  23. there we go again , but i have to give tips for a legit answer i ll give this to you thank you for trying althou i m not salty i just dislike the current pvp which is not whining i m just stating my stance for pvp , as for lame , yes i find it quite lame and this isnt whining its just how i find the current pvp meta . Well tbh "salty whiner" is very likely to be the first impression most people are going to get from your original post. You could've worded your thoughts better. I'm not the biggest fan of the current PvP environment either but there's nothing we can do except for waiting. Staff are trying their best to improve the game but as I said, they have limited time and manpower. So "code every ability/item etc first, don't ban stuff" is out of the equation, because the majority of the players here would still want to PvP even with the current imperfections. PRO without PvP is a 75-80hr game. If you want to play PRO and win PvP battles, you have to adapt to it's PvP environment, there are no other options. And from my experience, it's not as bad as you say. Sure it's annoying at times, but it's possible to have fun with it. Adapting is key.
  24. Well, no. There are no problems with how it is currently. Just try to adapt to the current meta instead of getting salty about it. The creators of the game want every move/ability working more than you do, but they have limited time/manpower etc to do so. Stall, hyper offense etc. are legitimate strategies. I hate stall teams more than you could imagine, but that's where your team building skills as well as predictions come into play. You need to adapt, there's no need to be upset. You're still gonna see stall teams if every move/ability was coded. And you aren't exactly "not blaming/whining". You didn't just say "PvP isn't worth it yet", you suggested a few other things and said it was lame which counts as whining.
