And now, he is using this thread to put "Aww" and "Haha" reactions under every post that criticizes his behavior, making a complete farce of Shino's attempt to defuse the situation. I am talking to you directly now, Prehax, since you are clearly following this thread and drag it into the dirt: The work you do for PRO is extremely valuable and probably a big part of why PRO feels so good to play, even tho I don't always agree with your changes. That doesn't mean it's infallible and nobody is allowed to critique your work, nor does it excuse your behavior regarding the criticism. The immaturity you present is very damaging for the recognition of the rest of the staff team and maybe you should start thinking about that before you continue acting like this. -
You cannot sync starters, so Cinnabar Mansion is still faster. There is no way this suggestion would break the economy and if you are still worried, limit it to once per week or so.

I feel like right now the Boss CD Checker is very tedious to interact with. It would be way better if he lists all bosses that are ready to fight or will be ready to fight in under a day in a region when you select it rather than having to individually check each boss. As a small side note, an ingame way to check how close you are to the boss limit would be cool too. Right now, I am using a text file to keep track of my limit which just feels inappropriate.

The reason trainers and gym leaders don't give experience after the first try is quite simply that it would be abusable. You could intentionally lose on their last pokemon to easily level up your whole party which would defeat the need of grinding and preparing for gyms. The elite 4 does give infinite XP by the way, so you can abuse them in just that manner and rechallenge them infinitely until you become the champion. -
Haxorus has Mold Breaker which ignores Shell Armor, so you can crit it.

It's unsurprising that the calc came to the same conclusion since it is based on the same formula. Btw you can safely slide the number of decimals after the point to the max the calc supports (20) and you will still get 0.0%. That's how unlikely 69 misses are. In other words, I don't believe OP's story.

I actually do hide some of the maps like guild island (at least for the prediction). The list is just not extensive and based on what annoyed me in testing. I should maybe use an .ini to set banned routes so users can ban/enable maps themselves. You know what, I'm gonna do that later and update the version. You have a good point here. 1.0.3 UPDATE: https://github.com/Karyoplasma/PROkedex/releases/tag/1.0.3b New feature: Spawn Chance prediction for target pokemon! It is entirely based on my limited data collection (roughly 50k encounters) and an idea how spawn chances might work in PRO. It is, however, pretty accurate for most of my past hunting data. I hunted x-mas Axew during Christmas event and the predictor managed to get really close to the actual distribution of the ~14k encounters I had in Crystal Caverns. Hype? Maybe. Maybe not. It's just something I found interesting to pass my time. The file routeList.txt in the resources folder is used to hide routes that are inaccessible at the moment. Customize it to your liking by commenting out inaccessible routes with a semicolon (;). -
Math time: The likelihood of this success rate is calculated by the probability mass function of the binomial distribution f(k,n,p) = (n over k) * p^k * (1-p)^(n-k). k is the number of successes in independent Bernoulli trials, so in your case it means, how many HJKs you hit, which is 182-69 = 113. n is the total number of attempts, so 182. p is the chance of success, which is 90% in this case, or 0.9. (n over k) represents the binomial coefficient and is equal to n!/(k!*(n-k)!). We can just dump all that in f(k,n,p): (182 over 113) * 0.9^113 * 0.1^69 = 1.17 * 10^-23 = 0.00000000000000000000117% You are as unlucky as 1 in 85400000000000000000000 (85 sextillion) people. As a comparison, if I would mark one single grain of sand on planet earth and then tell you to pick a grain of sand at random, you would be just as likely to pick the one I marked. I suggest to release your Medicham. It's cursed. Also, you shouldn't offer 1 million to that other guy. Hitting 30/30 HJKs is roughly 4%, slightly worse than encountering an HA poke without BMS.

This is absolutely unbelievable to a point I didn't think that couldn't even possibly exist yet. Here is the math behind this (correct me if I'm wrong) Chance for a Zigzagoon to be shiny: 1/8192, chance for a second Zigzagoon to be shiny AND have the same IVs AND have the same non-hidden ability: 1/8192 * 1/31^6 * 475/1000. Total chance of this occurring is 1/125,388,134,374,165,019. 1 in more than 125 quadrillion. What on earth?!? If every human on earth would encounter a Zigzagoon every 10 seconds without ever having to take a break, it would take over 5 and a half YEARS to have a 63% chance of this happening. EDIT: It's even more ridiculous since I didn't factor in the ability lol

Known issue. It wouldn't even impact PvP balance to correct the behavior since OHKO moves are banned anyway. -
+1 to translating the UI and NPC conversations. It's just reasonable to want to enjoy the game in your native language. -1 to translating pokemon names, city names, moves and other gameplay related stuff. That just leads to issues and misunderstandings. For example Lavender Town is called "Lavandia" in the German translation of the game, Mauville City is called "Lavandia" in French.

Hey, I think it would be a good idea to announce ongoing events and oddities like outbreaks, WQ and the most recent case of dig/headbutt/exca being temporarily unavailable alongside the "Welcome to PRO" server message. There are a lot of player that don't read the announcements on Discord and it would maybe help reducing confusion. An example is this thread (https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/172665-cant-dig-after-completing-hoen/) in the General Talk forum and also every other question in the Help chat ingame is "Why can't I dig?". Should be a fairly simple change that would greatly help people to stay updated. Edit: Actually scratch WQ, since there is already an ingame icon to reflect an ongoing WQ. The tooltip could be updated to include which Poke is requested, but I figure that tooltips are hardcoded strings, so that might be not a simple change. Would still be cool somewhere down the road.

You can save sashes if you use Gallade as the False Swiper. Teach it False Swipe, Trick Room, Memento.

My client froze during the Chuck boss fight on Silver server. Chat stopped moving, I couldn't select moves, but I wasn't logged out to the main menu. After about 5 minutes of spamming ^up in Reborn and not being able to do anything in-game I logged out and back in, battle counted as a loss. Probably wasn't a server crash at that time, but my internet didn't have a hiccup as well, so probably just a routing issue. If it's possible, I'd ask you to reset the cooldown. I wouldn't care too much about it, but it was my 3rd win, so that's a big bummer.

Thanks for the kind words! I tried to make it as close to the discord bot as possible since I direly miss it. Repel is kinda bugged atm because it doesn't recognize multi-repel spawns such as Larvitar/Pupitar in Expert Belt Room. Oh wow, I just now realized that the spawn dumps weren't updated since March 2020 lol I guess most of it is still correct, but I agree that it's a bit inconsiderate by the devs to not update it. You can search for items btw, the data files include item spawns on pokemon. -
Hey, since Reborn bot is sadly MIA, I made a quick and dirty GUI to present the data of the spawn dumps from the PRO website (https://pokemonrevolution.net/spawns/). If you want to update the spawns to the newest version, download the JSON dumps and drop them into the resource folder. The ones that are packaged are from sometime yesterday, so that shouldn't be necessary. A halfway to passable repel trick filter is also available, but it currently doesn't understand multi-repel spawns (such as Pinsir/Scyther in Safari Area 1) but hey, my QA was me using it for about 2 hours and it always did what I wanted it to, so there's that. Expectations exceeded. With 1.0.3, I added a feature that suggests a farming route for a pokemon. It's entirely based on my data collection (50k encounters roughly) so not sure how useful it is. But try it out, it might be a useful feature! With 1.0.3b, I added a list of all routes with spawns in them to /resources/routeList.txt! This list will be used to check whether the route is accessible. You can comment out routes by leading the line with a semicolon (;). I banned most of the event ones and Guild Island. Customize as needed! Requirements: -Java RE (any above 6 should be fine, so if you downloaded it in the past 10 years, you're good) Uses: -JSON Simple library (packaged into the jar) -Spawn dumps from the PRO website. Small improvement of your team would be to go for an Impish nature on Furret. It has higher Def than SpDef, so the 10% nature boost will give it more total stats when it boosts Def. You can still balance it out through EV training. It's just a minor difference (about 10 Def and SpDef), but I thought I'd still let you know.
