The server was in maintenance so all players were unable to join for a while. Also if you click connect and you see "logging in" fade away but a queue doesn't pop up then you're in a ghost queue. Just wait for a while and you will be logged in.

Make sure you delete all the PRO files then redownload the game from here.

What message do you get when trying to log in?

You need to beat the Johto Elite 4 then train a Rattata to level 100 so you can fight the Youngster Joey boss (He is next to the Elite 4 buildings.) After you beat Joey he will move so you can talk to the NPC who takes you to Hoenn.

Try relogging. Make sure you close the client entirely.

Go to the Logo Master in Saffron city and he will give you the option to create one.

Like another user said you just need to relog to fix it. The server is unstable and should be rebooted soon, after the reboot everything should be fine.

The server is currently unstable and talking to NPCs will cause you to get stuck. If I were you I'd only fight wild Pokemon for while until the server reboots. After a reboot happens you should be good to play again.

This happens when you are on a mount and inspecting the player. Dismount from it and you will be standing up again.

All the client downloads can be found here. Maybe your browser or antivirus is stopping the download. If you aren't already try downloading it in Google Chrome as that worked for me.

It's a good idea but for now you can just keep the date/ time you battled the boss in a notepad document. This way you wont have to go back and forth.

You're probably getting really unlucky. Maybe you should get a Pokemon with the Frisk ability so you get a notification about whether or not the Pokemon is carrying the item.
