  1. Ofcourse my opinion is based on a personal preference. That's the same with yours and everyones opinion. But not everyone sees this as a practical funcionality. I lose more battles than I win but I still don't like this idea. People will forfeit almost always when they are down to one pokemon and the opposing team has 2 or more left, which is the case in 90% of pvp matches. It's not fun for the opposing team. The only time I would agree to be able to forfeit is when you lost easily against someone and have to play them again the next match. You just can't deny it's not a practical functionality, both players save time even if you may find it less fun. Additionally denying a surrender button would mean that to let the winner "have fun" you are forcing the looser (that doesn't want to play the match anymore) to stay and endure a useless match because its purpose is not to decide who is the best player anymore it is just a one sided swipe that the winner can enjoy, quite barbaric. Finally you're admitting yourself that some times you would appreciate to surrender when "you lost easily against someone and have to play them again the next match.", which means you understand what it means to not stand a chance and the use of the surrender option.
  2. - And how is accepting defeat and clicking forfeit not "taking it like a real trainer" ? You'll save both players the minutes you talked about, that instead of used to move forward to another match, they're wasted on a losing fight. So the only really decent argument against the button would be the boosting issue. Because if staff do their job in investigating strange cases as forfeiting 3 times in a row vs the same guy, the button's clean. But if investigating match history is hard for a staff to do, then I understand the skepticism on the forfeit button. Avoiding features that in general help the playerbase, because some like to play dirty, is kinda dumb tho in my honest opinion. EDIT: If it was programmed to not allow 2 forfeits in less than 10 minutes, then the button wouldn't encourage more boosting than what may already be happening at the moment. Just requires more coding. I fully agree with you and would like to go further: I even think there is no downside to it, you talked about elo boosting by surrendering but the thing is, every time you win a match against the same person, you are less and less likely to be matched against him next time, because your rank is getting higher and the booster's rank is getting lower. So this strategy cannot be used more than 2-3 times which is ok because if you got too high doing this you will get down quickly by loosing to trainers stronger than you. So yes, if we sum up what everybody said there's no real downside, making a surrender option can only bring good to the pvp aspect of this game. after all there's a reason why nearly all pvp games have this option...
  3. Why? I respect your opinion but you don't give reasons. Sometimes you just know the battle is lost, and continue playing it is a waste of time for both players.. additionally, it can be frustrating for the losing player, and often it leads to a rage quit, or at least an intentional disconnection, which creates trouble because as we can't differentiate real disconnect from intentional quitting, making a fair ranking system is difficult. Because it's not fun for the opponent. I rather win by defeating six pokemon than by disconnection. Yeah indeed, I understand that it is fun to crush someone, but sometimes it's the opponent that is crushing you, and for that case I appreciate being able to surrender to make the pain shorter and move on to another match. And I may be repeating myself but it's also time saved for the opponent, even if he really likes to beat someone hard.

  5. the problem you underlined can easily be fixed by just adding a confirmation dialog.
  6. The problem with dragging down to scroll down is that the feature is already used to move items from your bag to make a pokemon hold it or to drag it into your hotbar bottom left. I see your point, but there's a way around it :holding longer before dragging to drag an item, just drag to scroll. this feature already exists in other apps
  7. Yes, but the problem is that some time you want one good poke and you're not willing to continue farming if you catch it. So currently the only solution is to go to the pc when your team is full, to trash the ones you caught and to continue farming until you get a good one or your team is full again.
  8. Excellent idea and already in the OG, I would really appreciate it to be implemented.
  9. Yeah but the problem is you need a Pokémon carrying flash, which means if you want to battle you'll have only 5 good pokes out of 6 (because nobody puts flash on good pokes) and even if you don't battle you will need to go switch between good poke and poke with flash every time you cross a cave. Finally, there is a replacement item for other hm, so why not flash? if people are willing to pay for it that's just more money for the developers.
  10. gba controls are a good idea, I agree there's a big problem with PRO UI on Android and it needs to be reworked. make windows like bag larger (like make it fill the whole screen) would be a good fix already. And for the scrolling there's no need for a scrollbar actually, they could implement the scrolling by dragging down and up like there is on every app I know of.
  11. already been suggested by plenty of other players including myself, I agree.
  12. yes, I already have suggested this idea myself so +1
  13. I agree with every suggestion, even though 6 and 7 are really not something to prioritize imo. And to the ones who argue the 2 would be a problem for pvp, the solution is really simple, you could tick a check box to tell if you want the moveset to be shown (because the ev are calculable anyway); but even if the staff doesn't want to show move and make a check box I really think that seeing at least the EV would be great for trading.
  14. I support the pc and the spectate mode idea, the first is needed because it's convenient and everyone that played the original games is used to it; and the spectate option (the most important to me) is really mandatory since PRO is a MMO and currently interaction between players are quite limited to the minimum...
  15. yes, this has been suggested many times including by me and I keep supporting the idea
  16. I agree, especially for pinkan island and the pc
  17. My IGN is Inspirateur, and I really would love to play the new nintendo games on switch :D
  18. I've already suggested it in this post https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=46066 (in "PC UI changes" section) But my post kinda got ignored by staff
  19. I agree the backpack needs more room or classification
  20. With equal stats there will never be more than 1 ev gap, ie if a poke has 2 equal highest stat and is tier 3 evolved it will always give 2 point from one stat and 1 from the other. Now if you want to know which stat will be prioritized (on which you will get 2 points and on which you will get 1) it's complicated, I admit that I can't tell
  21. Well the Pokédex is already giving you this information. See the star like diagram representing the base stats of the Pokémon? The highest stat is the ev it will give you (multiplied by the evolution tier)
  22. It sounds neat but I think that it's too much work for a feature that isn't really needed (compared to what they have to do)...
  23. Yes I fully agree with you! First it really is a mess on the music played in the bad environment (boat music in houses, road in caves etc) and the staff will tell me if I'm wrong but I don't think it's a copyright problem. And yes secondly we really REALLY need epic music for Pokémon league! It's a very important part of the game and I couldn't help being disappointed when I heard the flat normal battle music on elite four... And also I would love to hear staff position about allowing community to make some covers.
  24. I agree, "general" is more accurate since "all" chat isn't really open to "all" messages.
