  1. ok forget it i helped my self with this https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=120&t=29668 And i think i mistook sludge wave for sludge bomb :x
  2. Hi, I remember for sure that I saw (either a Sludge Wave tutor or a TM Sludge Wave seller) in hoenn, but I can't remember where I saw it (yeah I know it's dumb :c) Can someone help ?
  3. take a look at thor's post (3rd post of the thread) here, you'll understand better: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=40712
  4. yep, seems logic, +1
  5. Yeah I agree with MestrePokemon, this idea is not game breaking it's just for convenience, and I can already feel how pleasant it is to see if it's the right poke without loosing 10 sec to 5 min evertime you catch one !
  6. MayElesa is absolutely right from the beginning, don't be stubborn Asserth, reset is just a bad idea ... Plus I don't see why you would want a reset so hard if you can already play 3 differents ways on the 3 servers (enough to try all the starters) ... And I did not mention the 4 accounts
  7. I guess it's not a surprise but I have to agree again with you jeyelyahoo Even I think you should be more respectful. I'd like very much too see the dialogue continue, because for now I may have missed something but I don't see why it should be this difficult to add new languages, if community do the job, it just leaves a need for a little rework of the access of dialogues, and a big work on inserting thoses datas in the game. Maybe thinking about a clever way to insert the work of the community (no need for public code, again) into the game is worth trying...
  8. Yep, I support this idea, it would be hightly appreciated especially for those who hadn't played pokemon in english before PRO, because it's very annoying to alt-tab and look up in bulbapedia every time you see in the pokedex a move you don't know. The same thing would be appreciated when hovering a TM/HM with our mouse !
  9. Yea you're definitely exaggerating a little too much there. Of course this is on a low priority list, however to say its YEARS from even being considered might just not be true. They may just choose to never implement it. Its merely a nit-pick anyways, as its definitely not something game breaking. But who knows, it could just get implemented after the next major update whenever that is  Well, only time will give us answer, but I do still believe that if this is to be implemented, it will be in "years" (and you're right, it could just be ignored), Just because there is too much important things to be worked on by every staff member...
  10. not even talking about the regions missing, the pokes missing, animations, musics, GUI improvement (and what it's suggested is not even a GUI improvement)
  11. I'm fully with you jeyelyahoo, to me, the whole translation is a very important step the game has to take to get bigger and better, and I am, as many other people, ready to do this myself (for the french traduction). I can't understand neither why the staff is so reticent about this, you're right in every point, it can easily be done without any public code release... I would like a detailled answer from a PRO developper or at least somebody that knows why this is being rejected, because it's a thread that was brought up many times with no consistent answer, at least not that I'm aware of.
  12. 1st, i'm gonna say the pokemon is not always behing you: it isn't when bicycle, mounting or surfing. 2nd, this is like the lowest priority possible, it would be one of the last thing to implement in the game, and we're far from this moment. And by far i mean YEARS, so this thread will probably be burried deep in the forum before the moment comes.
  13. I support the idea of unranked pvp, with no restriction and good matchmaking.
  14. couldn't agree more on the "water pokes are the best" part x) welcome to pro
  15. or just get on a bicycle/on a mount/on water, which makes no poke following you
  16. Welcome on PRO :D
  17. yep, I hope it will come quickly, I must say I was a little desapointed hearing the regular battle soundtrack when I was all hyped by facing the league :( ...
  18. 1st: it is for sure planned but it's one of the lowest priority possible. 2nd: It's a choice from the staff (and a clever one i think) -> In the OG swap after KO was set ON by defaut, but you can still set it OFF. However, in PVP swap after KO is always OFF which takes off the violent snowball you get from killing a poke (because if it's ON you're already ready to sweep the next one). PRO staff decided to take off permanantly (pve and pvp) this advantage, in order to makes the game more difficult and to force players to be more strategic. 3rd: I would say it's like the 1st -> if it is planned, it's very low priority.
  19. There is no "enough" with statistics, it's just the more you try the accurate is the result, so 20 attempts is less accurate than 100, yes, but still it gives you a good idea of wether it's "bad luck" or not, because i'm sure that if BigDanny tries 20 times and find like 32% burning rate he will be reassured and his ask for a coder verification will be far less justified. Also, my intention was to give him a solution that looks not like a giant task :p I'm sorry but seeing you don't have an accurate idea of the burn rate in pro (you said -> 70%-60%-50%) still makes me think you need to try a formal verification as I did suggest. The other point I didn't talk about is that it is very easy for a scripter to set the value of burning rate so it's unlikely that a mistake was made here ^.^' Besides, if you're right and it's not 30%, having real stats about this will help you to ask for coder verification :)
  20. Luck is an abstract notion and statistics make it disapear: count every scald you see in the game (if the user hasn't serene grace ability and if the foe can be hit and burned), count also every burn caused by scald, and after let's say 20 scald you will know if it really is 30% burning rate or not. Did you know that humans tend to notice more random bad events than random good events ? Which makes them think they have "bad luck".
  21. Did you check your pokemon ability (the one who uses scald) isn't serene grace ?
  22. Against real players you don't have this option normally. Even in the original games. That's what I was about to say xD
  23. Re: Mass Release (For convenience) <r>Nice pic and signature xD<br/> <br/> I support the idea of multi selection in the pc, it really is time saving.<br/> And I would like to suggest as well the possibility of sorting our pokes <U><s></s>ourselves<e></e></U> because I really miss this and the actual sorting doesn't really suits me. (or at least make a type-based sort that wouldn't apply on each box independently but on the pc globally)</r>
  24. i don't know if it's humor or not, so i'll just act as if it wasn't... honnestly I think happiness is a bad mechanic in PRO: it has not enough impact to be important, but just enough to be annoying :/ I'm not sure that refusing to create the shovel just to keep alive happiness is worth, but i'd like to see some ppl explaining why happiness is worth to keep. Because if the poke you want to teach dig is not happy enough, you'd just spend 20 min making him happy and done, I don't see how it makes the game more interesting/difficult, but i do see that it is annoying to keep happy a poke that you don't want in your team because dig is not really "pvp ready" but you need it to travel "fast" (don't forget that fly is not here so the "fast" i'm talking about is already lower than the real time of travel in the OG).
  25. Yes, this is a convenient feature in the OG's, it's not really making the game easier, it's comfortable, so I support this idea ! This is very annoying when you have to teach for exemple flash to some crappy poke to cross a cave, and you don't know who can get it...
