  4. @Eytan525 You are not locking the boss into any moves by accident or anything btw. Your strategy is good. You need to however check in the ProWiki that many bosses first pokemon hold a Choice item. That means that if you don't remove it and they run out of PP, they will switch out to another pokemon. When is this a problem? It is a problem when the lead of the opponent uses a move with low PP and holds a choice item. Example: Victini Choice Band Bolt Strike/V-Create in boss Xylos. These 2 moves are the moves it uses 99% of the time. They only have 5 pp so if you do not use the moves Switcheroo, Trick, Thief or Knock Off they will switch out after a few turns. It is not a problem when the lead of the opponent uses a move with high pp and holds a choice item. Example: Bugsy Boss has a Scizor lead with Choice Band. However, 99% of the time it spams Bullet Punch or Pursuit. Both have a LOT of PP so you can take MANY turns without worrying. You should check in the prowiki to see ALL bosses you intend to do. Then, check the first pokemon in their lineup. Does it hold a Choice item? Yes - is it worth removing? Or will it not be necessary? No - Proceed to set up as you wish. Write the names of each boss down. Write the lead pokemon, item and moves of the boss' pokemon you intend to fight. Depending on each boss you will be able to set up differently. For example, against Lt Surge you will always switcheroo the lagging tail onto Rotom - remove its specs that way - immediately memento. Then switch to another debuffer and Flash until it is at -6 accuracy. Then if possible Memento/Light Screen and switch to Slowbro. Megaevolve, Calm Mind 6 times then Iron Defense 3 times then sweep while you heal with Slack Off. As another example of a boss that barely requires preparation: Start with Whimsicott vs Bugsy's Scizor. It will always go for Bullet Punch in the first turn. Simply sacrifice the Whimsicott using Memento (it will instadie from the Bullet Punch). Switch to your Stealth Rocker, use the move, set up some Spikes and explode. Then you just immediately switch into Mega Slowbro, Iron Defense 3 times because Scizor will be locked into Bullet Punch for many turns, then set up Calm Minds while you heal and sweep. TLDR: write down the first pokemon of each boss, moves, ability, item, all info. Think what do you need to do to set up properly against it.
  5. @Eytan525 Prioritise removing the opponent's item instead of Mementoing a second time. Pokemon in bosses only switch out under the following conditions: When a move runs out of pp and is choice locked When a pokemon has completely run out of pp When the pokemon is locked into a single move with no pp When the pokemon is locked via taunt/assault vest and has no damaging moves available When perish song counter is about to reach 0 When destiny bond is used a certain % of the time When its only move is disabled by disable or cursed body When a pokemon is locked into a move to which the enemy pokemon is immune to (x4 resistant moves still make the opponent stay in)
  6. +1 to add a lend trade condition that keeps all changes once they come back.
  7. This thread is not going to end well lmfao.
  8. Agreed on all suggestions. I really like them.
  9. @Cannonjuice The gym was updated and now there's only 1 gym leader instead of 2. You should be able to find the other one in the same building.
  10. Honestly, Pokestops just give you 2 items randomly in a pool of multiple newbie friendly items (such as Pokeballs, Superballs, Potions, etc). The best items they can give you is Rare Candies. At low levels this literally is irrelevant and they're only useful to be sold in Trade Chat. I don't understand why there should even be a badge requirement for these. Why would you restrict players until the 4th Kanto Badge or 8th Johto Badge to speak to a NPC with a 36 hour cooldown that just gives you 2 Pokeballs most of the time? They're supposed to help newbies but the requirements are restrictive as hell. You can literally pay for 2 Pokeballs just with a few wild encounters anyway. The badge restriction over 7 years into the game is honestly pointless.
  11. Welcome!
  12. @Lilsmugg You can pm me here, on PRO discord or ingame!
  13. @Tokio456 If you use the stairs and go to the TOP floor (the highest one) in the department store you will find some vending machines. If you interact with them you will be able to buy a Fresh Water.
  14. @Krant7 sure, I can help tomorrow, going to sleep now!
  15. I'd say -1 but to extend the access to top 5 to allow two more guilds to enter it. I think there is no issue with having some PvE competition and an incentive to try to be at the top of the leaderboard. I fail to see how it is unfair.
  16. Can I start with 100k?
  17. -1, with that amount of restrictions I do not think it will be very enticing for people to hunt event forms or just any pokemon without their synchronise chance. Furthermore, this massively increases the benefits of people who just spam wild battles over and over with Membership active, thus benefitting cheates mainly.

@Jze Did you by any chance start the Heatran Quest?
  19. Contacted on discord! @Omnilboro77
  20. Since lending is available again, my bank is open again!
  21. Hey, could we have an actually healthy discussion on if it is possible to revert this change? Return and Frustration used to be always base 102 power when used. Now you completely depend on happiness. While it is like the base mechanic in the original games, in PRO this is pretty restrictive. If you trade your pokemon away, its happiness resets and you have to grow it up again. If you accidentally walk around your happiness will grow and you'll have to faint your pokemon to use Frustration. If you accidentally use items on your pokemon this can happen too. I don't think there's a bad reason to revert the change, while I understand trying to be similar to the originals and accomodate to it, PRO is its whole different game and we don't really have a reason to follow them all the time (check the Repel + Sync mechanic, Shadow pokemon, Dig Spots, Pokestops and many more features). Could this change be reverted and just always have Return and Frustration at maximum base power or atleast have a discussion on it without throwing stones between developers and users? Like adults?
