Hi there, this can happen if you haven't opened your bag in battle for a while, since it'll take the server some time to load up the data of the items within your bag. I would recommend trying to open your "Items" tab in battle about every 5-10 minutes or so; that should allow your client to run more fluidly, and prevent any further freezing while you're farming Pokemon. This is how your shortcut looks right now: "C:\PRO poke\PRO64_95_42.exe -force-d3d9 However, it should look like this instead: C:\PRO poke\PRO64_95_42.exe -force-d3d9 Type it like that into the textbox, removing the " symbol at the beginning of the line. Then try it again.

Hi, you probably meant me! Just to clarify, the city below Lake of Rage is actually in the Johto region, which is a long ways off from where you are in the story currently - you likely read an answer that was intended for another user. :P As Windy already said, you'll need to go up from Viridian to the next route/city (so north, not west). And just in case you get confused during the story again, here's a walkthrough of what you'll need to do to progress through the Kanto/Johto regions. Good luck!

This looks very much like an extraction issue. Are you using WinRar to unzip? Try deleting all game files and extracting into a new game folder with 7zip instead, you may have better luck. Let me know what happens.

Hi, what you're describing is the plot of Pokemon FireRed / LeafGreen. However, PRO does not follow the exact same plot as the handheld games. You are meant to go straight to Viridian Gym after defeating Blaine; you can fight Giovanni right away. To enter the Sevii Islands later, you'll need to have beaten the Kanto Elite 4, have active membership, and speak to the Sevii Transport NPC at Vermilion. Check the links within this Kanto/Johto walkthrough thread if you're still struggling with what to do next in the story.

1. This is already being looked into. To avoid this for the time being, make sure not to drag Pokemon until they've been moved from your PC into your party. 2. Can you upload screenshots of this from both ends (yours and your friend's)? It could potentially just be lag on his side. 3. Animations have been suggested several times already. More will be added in the future, be patient.

Hi, I run a Mac client as well and just tried re-downloading/unpacking the file. Archive Utility, the built-in Mac OS X extraction program, does the trick for me. You can consult this guide for a step-by-step process of what you'll need to do.

Hi there, try to repair the zip file. You can also try re-extracting the files into a new folder without using WinRar or 7zip (search up an online extractor). If all of that still fails, make sure you check out this guide on client crashes, since DirectX drivers have been known to have issues with the PRO client at times.

As mentioned, the 100+ Kanto Pokemon requirement is for the free Silver Disc you receive from one of the scientists at Cinnabar Lab. Check that thread for more information on what to do after you receive the Disc from the scientist. For the Jessie/James boss reward, you are not guaranteed to get a Silver Disc after defeating them in battle. Read through the boss guide for a more in-depth list of other rewards you can get from them. Finally, as Thor said, you'll be able to get a Silver Disc from certain Dig Spots if you're lucky.

Hi, have you spoken to the scientist at Cinnabar Lab yet? He'll present you with a Silver Disc, which you can revive into a Porygon. Also, in the future it would help if you could give a description of what you've tried so that we can help you troubleshoot what's going on.

This post may help you. Try to follow the picture exactly and put quotation marks around the file name before you type -force-d3d9 in the target. Thanks that did work. I will let know if the game doesnt crash that much anymore. EDIT: The game won't start when I do that. Even when running as admin. It loads the game engine and then closes itself.
