Hello [mention]Varsity77[/mention], it evolves via trading. Onix needs to hold a Metal Coat and then you have to trade it --> this will trigger the evolution. :)

Hello [mention]jnasalenga[/mention], do you have any kinds of proof of that, such as screenshots/recordings? I did the Bug Catching Contest myself like 5 or 6 times now and never encountered that nor heard of such a case. :P

Nah I don't think so but it's useful if you want to pick a sync since it has access to Thunder Wave = easier catch. :P</t>
