All accounts are the same, the developers would have to go out of their ways and develop something specifically for you to make your account "bugged" so you don't encounter shiny or clone. If that's the case, they really hate you.

depends on iv, your example is pretty biased, cuz 20+ all scizor is actually pretty ok and usable in PvP. If it's a 10- scizor that's not usable in PvP, I would definitely get the all 30+ scizor. Because 30+ in all iv is 1/13900000(not counting nature and ability), and a shiny is only 1/8200 approximate. However if it's PvP usable shiny vs. very very epic regular pokemon, I would take the shiny any day.

Well, like I said, Red consist of tons of veteran players who holds 10s or 100s of epic pvp pokemon, and if you want to play PvP in the end game, that just put you in a very deep disadvantage.

yup, no potion at all. Sometimes I even 1v6 and end up with full HP :)

There is no difficulty for a sure win, any pokemon that can spam bulk-up/curse/calm mind can easily 1v6.

I also think (some) bosses should be made more difficult and give better reward. Like I don't even bother battling Prof. Elm, cuz if I want another starter I can easily go grind one. Maybe one unique pokemon(item) from each boss that you can't get from anywhere else?
