Stall is a style of play and it is heavily crippled by the presence of Crawdaunt in our game. A style of play shouldn't be this hindered by one pokemon. Nothing beats it.

And btw azumarill with band + playrough deals about the same damage with craw so we should bann this too... Its not about the pokemon being broken iys doesnt have many counters... You should reread the calcs because it obviously 2hko's Phys Def Garchomp.

Well said. In another game, the reward for winning guild wars (Or in our case: #1 on the Guild Ladder) was the winning guild gets access to an exclusive area for a limited amount of time and this area spawned exclusive Pokemon. In this game the exclusive Pokemon could be current boss Pokemon rewards or something. This seems like the only way in this game to reward an entire guild for their PvP efforts. Other than that, there isn't much that can be done but I do agree that the Guild Ladder rewards should be worked on. Another good suggestion. :Ambivalent:

Maybe you're right about Focus Sash. What pokemon do you regularly run with Focus Sash to counter Crawdaunt?

This is not a joke and it is a valid PvP discussion if you ask me so I will recreate the thread. People made joke threads in response to this one but I was serious. If I violate any forum rules set in place by posting this please forward them to me so I am aware of them before creating any more posts. There are other discussions very similar to this one on the forums that have not been locked and/or removed so I see no problem with it. From the previous discussion: I believe the PvP aspect of the game would be that much better if Crawdaunt was banned. The combination of Adaptability and Crawdaunt's well-above-average attack is very hard to stop especially considering it has Knock Off. If you put a Life Orb or Choice Band on this mon, it is just too strong. It achieves things such as 2HKOing Skarmory, Blissey, Tangrowth, and other fat mons. This puts your team at a huge disadvantage vs other pokemon paired with Crawdaunt. Ban Crawdaunt please and thank you. :Ambivalent: Edit: It also puts a strain on the Stall Archetype. It's impossible to win with Stall if the opponent has a Crawdaunt.

I know you don't know a lot about pokemon speeds because you're used to going second since you only play slow bulky tanks, but Serperior outspeeds crawdaunt. So the only attack Crawdaunt gets off before dying is aqua jet. I know you think you're cool for sarcastically telling me something I already know but I'm speaking of switch ins. Any idiot knows that you shouldn't stay in with your Crawdaunt against a Serperior. This is why you pair Crawdaunt with Pokemon such as Talon and T wave to provide support in the form of speed control. So think a tad bit before you respond to a post.

I know we all know and understand that Tropius is a prominent threat in our current metagame. It is one of the only Pokemon that is capable of checking Azumarill, Blissey, Skarmory, Garchomp, Dragonite, etc. etc. and etc. But we need this Pokemon in the game to keep those threats at bay. It is the only Grass / Flying Pokemon that is able to check the likes of Heatran and Magnezone which makes it that much better. But I am going to have to disagree. Tropius is the best PvP Pokemon in the game and I can never see it being banned because of how much I + other Top 25 players love and use it.
