Halloween Event Part I + II Guide & Demonstration
Merse replied to Carlho's topic in Outdated Guides
The whole Fuiji line is ridiculous. He outclasses you by the simple fact that he can have a fully evolved team while most of your Pokes won't have their final form because they don't evolve before they hit lv50. This alone gives you a huge disadvantage. Not to mention that 90% of the players must train a brand new team assembled specifically for Fuiji to be able to beat him. Plus add the fact hat he opens with Jellicent which is basically a ghost Snorlax wall on this level with STAB Hydro Pump. On lv 50 there are very few moves that could OHKO it and a Hydro Pump brings down almost anything you can throw at it. -
Good luck people! :)

I tried to show Duslkulls to Joel but I got the following error message for three of them: Interestingly I did not get this message with some other Duskulls. Tehre is no connection in what order I caught them, relogging didn't solve the issue. I can't see any pattern in the error message.

1. Ampharos 2. Gengar 3. Gardevoir

AFAIK at the moment you can't get any mega stones. They were originally available but they are not usable because you can't get a Mega Ring. Yet, some players scammed others claiming that mega stones were usable, so the staff blocked any way to get a Mega Stone for a while.

[Sell/Trade] Amazing Scyther (Ada, Tech) 27Att 28Hp 27Def
Merse replied to Ende's topic in Selling Pokémon - Silver
Mate, with that SPD this scyther is not that amazing. Take the 350k someone was too eager to offer... -
The first one is really needed exactly because if you want to sell/buy more than one item, you have to transfer tons of Pokes.
-
Then you have to hunt for more Sneasels. Tip: A Pokemon with the ability Frisk can tell you if the wild Poke holds an item. And the attack Covet takes the item form the wild Poke so you don't have to catch it.

Clarification: "30 days" is not completely true as the "day" change is according to Australian time. So if you activate your MS medallion in Central Europe at ~1 pm the first day of your MS will tick away in about 3 hours, so it's really 29 days and a few hours depending on where you live and when you activate the medallion.

What nature this Eevee has?
-
There is a whole topic about it here

You can't really do anything, as you need a credit card to use paypal. As an alternative, you can buy coins or membership for in game money.

Lol great guide :D

Finish story then only focus on finding epic pokemon?
Merse replied to Darach's topic in General Game Talk
Being epic depends on the stats of the Poke. There is no exact definition, but usually a Poke is called epic if it has a nature that fits its strengths and weaknesses (for example a Timid Gengar is good because Gengar doesn't use normal attacks but can profit from the extra speed), at least 2 of the important IVs (usually SPD and SATK or ATK) are 28+ and the others are good too (20+ with maybe 1 exception allowed). Then again others have higher or lower standards for calling a Poke epic. -
Breeding and infinite EV training is just not something that fits with an MMO.
-
There is no way to objectively rate any Pokemon. Every Poke is good for a different thing and for one or more role in a PVP battle. And there are too many factors to take into account. Like a Poke with all-over 31 IVs can still be bad for PVP if its nature or ability isn't appropriate.
-
Being IVs trainable defeats the reason of having IVs in the first place. Why not simply ignore them at all and make every Poke max stats all over? And you obviously seriously underestimate the dedication of an MMO player. A few days/wees of grinding won't hold back anyone form having a perfect Pokemon. Not to mention it would take out all the strategy from PVP.
-
Max EV in PRO is 252 per stat. Still, it isn't too hard to reach it, especially that there are excelent spots for every EV to be trained not to mention the EV training zones in Kanto Safari. Claiming that it would take "a very long time" is a completely invalid argument. Thousands of players play the game for thousands of hours. It's the same as making legendaries catchable. Sooner or later everyone would have them
-
if you could train IVs that would mean that form any Pokemon you could train a full max IV epic. That would make the whole hunting and MMO part pointless. All you need is a Synchro Poke, catch your desired monster and regardless of its ivs train it up to max.
-
As the title says. 28+ SPD and SATK is the absolute minimum requirement, preferably with Trace ability. Willing to pay up to 1 million (+ ingame stuff and/or coins if the Poke is really good)
-
Did you wait 24 hours?
-
But once it's working: You must use Destiny Bond and the Poke has to faint by the next attack of your opponent, then it will take down the opponent too. Note: You don't have to hit first, Destiny Bond also works if the opponent hits first, then you use destiny bond, and in the next turn the opponent faints your Poke. BUT If you use Destiny Bond first, then the opponent hits you, then he hits you again with a priority move in the next turn, destiny bond won't work.
-
What this gives to the game?
-
Well it looked just like that in every Pokemon game. But I agree that compared to some of the revised Kanto maps, Route 36 feels slightly more artificial than it should be. Maybe there could be some wider roads on it.
