Hello there, It's Gawerty - As you can tell, I haven't posted in a few days ( I deeply apologize haha!) I have been on the forefront of graduating, and a lot of exciting things have been happening left and right leaving me with very little time for leisure time on the PC. I have still been on Discord via my Phone, but that's besides the point. I and a friend who I will not disclose (Unless he chooses to post on the thread) are recording a nuzlocke series for PRO - Each on our own seperate channels - I believe the intention is for us to be rivals of sorts. With that said The rules we are using are as follows Rule #1: You can only capture the first Pokémon you encounter in each new area you explore. Rule #2: If one of your Pokémon faints, you must release it. It is dead. Impossible Battle Clause (A clause 'invented' for the sake of PRO - due to NPCs such as Lance in Vermillion City, and other NPCs, etc.) Does not count as Death. Shiny Clause: You may catch shinies for after the nuzlocke, but may not use them unless they are the first encounter on a route. Cave Clause: Only one pokemon caught per level of cave. Basically just regular settings. The thing I am aiming for is endless recording of myself playing the game - to push through the boundarys of beating PRO through a nuzlocke. I will be warning you now, unless this really garners attention - I won't be uploading unless a milestone is reached (Such as beating a GYM) - This intention allows me to make several videos, and release them on my channel instead of leaving you hanging every video for the next one. What this also means though is that I won't be releasing videos terribly often (perhaps once or twice a week) If this does however garner attention - I will upload more as I see fit. A question for you guys? Would you enjoy it more if I used a mic during the let's play, or not? Let me know! I may also be willing to set-up livestream footage of myself training on the account - as I don't really intend to include several minutes of grinding in the video. Cheers, Gawerty

From speculation as well as the development team point out hints, the answer to this is yes. (Threadlocking is the known term they has pointed out) The developers state in the future, they will solve the issue so you will probably have to get used to the stability issues as this game IS known to be in BETA if you check the website when you signed up. Regardless of the fact that it is BETA means very little - considering a game like this won't ever truly leave the title BETA behind. With that said though - A lot of freezing and crashing happens due to how certain players interact with NPCs - NPCs are basically just lines of script that execute commands in a continuing order to make the NPC complete a certain action that makes it seem realistic (Or as realistic as a Pokemon game can be) so if a very complex NPC exist (This often happens when new scripters get on the team - Well; It did when I was on the team a while back) it can very easily crash the server due to many players using the same NPC at the once - this is also why certain quest take a long time to make. So the term Threadlocking can be used in a very vague way - but there isn't just one main reason - there are several ways the server can crash. Onto it being fixed, everything can be fixed, but as more content is added - more content is bugged. So there will always be crashes - The frequency of them can be less frequent. It just depends on how thorough content is worked on.

OO an expansion of WoW is way more work, hoenn is just so long to come because they dont accept any help LOL at this guy, really. There is a difference between fully paid and volunteers and PRO staff fall under volunteers. Please stop trying to look like a fool. You are free to think that, but you don't know how much goes into a project such as building a region like Hoenn.

Not quite sure which Moderator said the Database clears out all unconfirmed usernames within 24 hours, but that wasn't a thing when I was staff - So I can't be too sure. If it isn't a thing, the likely-hood of it occuring in the future isn't to hard to see happening, but in that case - it may just be worth registering a new name with Gmail and just playing from there, PRO has been experiencing some serious Email issues as of late, so hopefully it gets resolved soon.

With the PRO Team dropping the official PRO Discord, an unofficial one was made - Due to users liking the layout and use of it and just the simplicity with how we can chat as opposed to IRC. If any staff is against this - feel free to lock/delete the thread and remove the link - I have permission from Chappy though. We have currently Refreshed the discord to fix all role permissions up. We currently have a Support section and currently working on language support. First of all, as a former staff member, I can already tell you the answer to this will be no.

So it came to my attention that many players can't use certain letters from native regions' that use the 'QWERTY' keyboard. this make typing annoying or difficult for PRO and sometimes have inhibited them from accessing email providers known to work such as Gmail. This should be an able solution to use letters needed to complete urls and to basically do anything necessary to type in English if their language and keyboard doesn't use certain letters. Let's begin: There are 2 very basic steps to insuring this works out for you. Step 1: For a brief amount of time, you will want to change your computers language to a language that has the letter you are looking for, which in the case that got me to write this guide, would be the letter ' c '. An example of how to get there would basically be going to the Control Panel, accessing 'Time & Language' or just 'Language' if that is what is on your PC. From there you can add a Language and set it as your primary via your taskbar, so for instance, if I add Dutch to my language settings, as shown in the screenshot - my on-screen keyboard will be Dutch. (Once I change it on my taskbar.) Step 2: Pull up 'On-Screen Keyboard' which is a program on Windows-Based PCs that came after Windows XP I believe. This is literally all there is too it, as seen in the screenshot, the on-screen keyboard will have the letters you need, and you can use your attached keyboard to type from it still. It's very useful. Thanks for reading! Since you can't view the second thread for whatever reason, i'll list out the method. Create a Shortcut to PRO.exe, right-click the shortcut and click on properties find the textbox labeled 'target' at the end of it add -force-d3d9 This should fix most crash related issues, if that is indeed what you are experiencing.

This would be a good idea, under the assumption that a staff member could bypass the password as necessary, without anyone else in the chat knowing, too make sure no rule-breaking is occurring. Wouldn't want discussions on things like bots, and/or real-world-trading being talked about freely under lock and key, know what i'm saying?
