G3n3r4l Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 Shiny counts isn't really that luck based when you hunt for long enough. Not getting T1 shinies is ofc alot more luck based. But if you run from everything you get on av around 1 shiny every 30h of playtime(based on 5 encounters/min). By calculations that could be accurate, though in practice it isn't, as even myself having over 700 hours of gameplay, many hours of hunting, I've only gotten 2 OT shiny pokemon (Excluding the rattata everyone gets I've gotten an oddish and a geodude).
