I suppose you'd make sure the timer never exceeds 180 seconds, right? Otherwise after a few quick rounds it could get very long

I'd say just implement it for next month and wait for feedback on August, then decide what would be the best decision to take... Simple!

I think this is better becuz of the common issue known as time stalling can be stopped effectively now

Change of plans, if so many people prefer Showdown's timer then how about this ...

180 seconds overall timer with +15 seconds every round.

 

Only for PvP ranked battles. Opinions?

I'm ok with that.
