51st PRO Ladder tournament

Hi everyone and welcome in the 51st Official Ladder Tournament !

This tournament is for the top 25 players of the ladder of November 2021! Please register within the next eight days!

The ladder tournament will be on showdown with PRO rules!

1. Ranked pvp rules apply. Please familiarize yourself with these if you have not done so already.
2. If you disconnect, it will be counted as a loss unless your opponent agrees to a rematch.
3. Finish the matches within the stated time:
   • If you didn't complete your match within the stated time, the winner will be decided by coinflip.
   • If your opponent tried to contact you and you didn't react within the stated time, you will be disqualified. -Evidence is needed in this case!
   • You have to post the replay links to prove that you won within the given time.
4. You will have 2~4 days per round!
5. You can use as many Pokemon as you want and don't need to register them.
6. You can only use Pokemon that are catchable and not banned on PRO. 
7. You have to join the ladder tournament discord, before the tournament starts. You will get the invite link, after your registration.
8. The following Pokémon are banned from the tournament: Shaymin (Sky), Landorus-Incarnate (Sheer Force).
9. You are allowed to use abilities that do not work 100 % correctly in PRO (Ask beforehand in the discord if allowed before using, as otherwise you may risk a sanction).
10. You are allowed to use moves that do not work 100 % correctly in PRO (Ask beforehand in the discord if allowed before using, as otherwise you may risk a sanction). Examples: Belch, Bug Bite, Detect, Doom Desire, Mirror Coat, Parting Shot, Protect, Razor Wind, Taunt, Pressure, Magic Coat.

Q: Which Pokemon can be used in showdown tournaments?

A: You can use all Pokemon, abilities, items and moves that were coded and allowed, when the tournament started.

The list is longer, so only use them, if you are sure that they are coded and allowed. If you are unsure, feel free to ask.

 

Q: We didn't finish our match within the given time. What happens now?

A: If you tried to contact your opponent and s/he didn't answer, then your opponent will be disqualified. Evidences are needed.

If both of you didn't try to contact each other or weren't able to agree on a date, then the match will be coinflipped.

 

Q: The timer in PRO is different than in Showdown. What do we do?

A: The timer must be activated at the start of the duel, however, if your opponent asks and you agree to disable it then its possible to disable the timer for the reminder of the match. If your opponent disables the timer without your consent then you may reenable it again, however, may this happen multiple times in the course of the match you may contact a ladder administrator to oversee the match.

 

Q: PRO has no formats. Which one do we use?

A: For this tournament, battles can be carried out both in Ubers[Gen7] and Anything Goes[Gen7] tiers. Ubers allows the user to carry battles with the implementation of the clauses PRO uses, and Anything Goes allows specific pokemon and combinations to be played where in normal tiering format wouldn't be possible. It depends on what the participants agree on.

 

Q: I can't agree on different terms with my opponent. What happens now?

A: If you make reasonable suggestions and your opponent does not agree without making his own suggestions, then it will count as a refusal to battle. If you and your opponent make reasonable suggestions, but still can't agree within the given time, then the match will be coinflipped.

With the recent changes, the winner of the ladder tournament has now the chance to choose one between two possible rewards:

 

- An Untradeable Pokémon of the one written into THIS REWARD LIST with IVs maxed at 31 30 27 26 25 22 spread as the winner most prefer, as well as nature and ability chosen by the winner

 

OR

 

-An Untradeable Shiny Pokémon contained into THIS REWARD LIST with the Main Stat 31 IV and all the other IV centered (But not limited to) around 20. Nature and ability chosen by the winner.

 

 

2nd Place: 2x Reroll Ticket with an IV locked 

 

3rd Place: 1x Reroll Ticket with an IV locked 

 

Toxicity leads to a Toxic Orb  instead of the prizes above.
