Yea I'd love to know when a players get a shiny caterpie.

Better make Shiny also like event mons, message for only Rare, maybe uncommon too but meh.

Otherwise, solid idea +1

  • If this is implemented the default setting should be anonymous IMO, to protect less experienced players.

  • it would be very fun if we dont see only the encounter sentence but if the pokemon is caught / killed / run    xxxx killed a shiny charmander

+1   Points to be noted -   It should be turned off at first as default. User have to turn it on. Let's keep it to uncommon and rare only for all types i.e., event, pink a

I like this feature implemented. I enjoy it in any MMO I play +1 on keeping it

My heart would be broken if I saw like 10 different people I know get shinies, while I don't get any for another 2 years.

+1 for this idea.

Just prefered that we get only Rare tier notifications, or at least Uncommon+
Kinda boring to see ppl getting shiny ratatas left and right xD

I think this will be good for the game. Make it more competitive when people can really see you getting the goods. I hope this get implemented!

-1, this gives a giant target to scammers/people pressuring to sell

I mean again, players can disable the feature and even hide their names from being shown, so I don't see that being a problem anymore.

-1 the player will be annoyed & get max pms to sell it as he can be  scammed if noob

i see you have to do it anonymously

Def a minus, only adds salt to the wound to people that ain't finding anything in ages.

Also we have already way too many flexers, I wouldn't give them more space to appeal.

This is a realy good idea community wise and I'd support that. I can also see that with the features you presentated this should work like a charm !

However, my concerns are as followed:

- I feel it will be unnecessary to display Common Shinies, as most of them are insignificant and will create spam. On the other hand I have no issue with Uncommons and Rares.

- Will every Pink be displayed like Shadow Pokémon ? As you know Pink Pokémon are H24 huntable as opposed to Shadow Pokémon. For this reason I think only Uncommon and Rare Pinks should be displayed and also because of the 1/1500 chance for Pinks that would lead to more spam.
