I don't know if any of you remember (or even was already here when it happened), but there WAS a debate regarding MS price around the time between Halloween event and Xmas event, and the conclusion was that MS price should be kept stable around 150k-200k, because it was seen as a perfect price range, not too high to obtain for newbie, but not too low to gain profit for older players.

At that time, at least.

161238 the increase of prices was never a problem with MS, if it became over priced I will just buy with real money

Not everyone can buy with real money, though. For them, MS price being too high IS a problem.

MS price will be high and goes higher as not enough money sink in the game yet. Ppl cry about the sinks and then cry about how high the price of everything from the coin shop :)

160973 OP it just sounds like you're mad you can't get MS for dirt cheap now. Playing the market is a part of every MMO and there's nothing wrong with it.

It is if the game has a small community, and the buyers/sellers are few in numbers. Games like WoW, EQ, EvE etc I completely agree.

I understand a lot of people want to be part of the Rochchilds family but can't in real life so they take out on a video game. Whatever, I will continue to play and enjoy this game even when you tards completely broke the market.

Just do not come whining on the forum when the game is dying out because the market has become completely inflated and no new player can properly enjoy the start of the game because he or she can no longer afford anything

I have seen it happen in a lot of small games, and PRO wont be a exception.

A couple people playing the market isn't ruining the market. It's simply bc the server is new and prices haven't stabilized yet. Prices are also continuing to rise because there is no end game money sinks in this game. After you buy a bike, super rod and dragon membership, how do you get rid of money? Buy pokeballs, take the occasional subway? It's all a joke considering how much money you make end game.

You can make like 40k/hour at dragons den and as more people hit end game, more and more money is flooding the market, so of course prices are going up because people have more money to spend. You say the market is messed up bc MS is around 250-300k.... But you could buy 1-2 MS from a single day of farming. But don't worry, prices should stabilize soon. I wouldn't ever expect MS to drop back down to 120k though.

I agree that you can make a lot of money at the end game but is that even a reason, I make a lot of money so I have to spend it all, and in case of the seller he will gain let's 1 mil from selling a pokemon then what will he do with it? and selling pokemons for high prices makes it impossible for new players to buy good pokemons, since they don't have access yet to places to grind good money, and btw this game market is not like any other game, other games when a seller put item in market he sets price and anyone can afford that amount buy it, but here no he waits for offer new players don't have much money and will offer less than the old players, so good pokemons will only be with old players who have money. which is really disappointing for new players

Except the money of higher players trickle down to the wallets of newer players. A player can't even use the market until after the 4th gym, by that point they have a huge variety of pokemon they can catch and sell. You guys have pointed out many times that even rare pokemon like electabuzz with the trashiest stats can sell for 50k. You act like the high level players are hording all the money and bullying the lower level players. But guess what, we're still willing to buy all the epic/godly pokemon you guys find and we're willing to pay you lots of money for them too. You guys are so focused on buying stuff and the high prices you have to pay that you forget you can sell stuff for more money too and have no problem affording the stuff you want to buy.

The fact is, there's a lot more cash floating around the game than there was when MS was 120k.

really!! how many rare pokemons a new player with no MS can catch by the fourth badge? and will you buy a trashy stats electabuzz for 50k?, the price of electabuzz became like that because he wants money to buy stronger pokemons, but he won't be able to cause no one will buy trash pokemons for a lot of money. and can you state out of the new players how many of them will be lucky to catch a rare epic pokemon to sell for high price to buy MS

To be honest the economy right now is much easier on new players than other games. The economy is designed so that anyone who finds a good pokemon can sell it for a good price. Good pokemon aren't restricted to members or rich players, just anyone who finds them. There is no pay wall (or at least unreasonable ones) to get the good pokemon you need to start making cash. Of course, rich players have the money to buy better pokemon but that's what the economy is designed for, trickling the cash.

As for inflation, that happens in any MMO. Happened in Runescape, WoW, Tera, and even MMOs as new as Black Desert. When you have players putting more and more currency into the system, prices are going to get more and more inflated. That's literally how inflation works in real life and in game. It's unavoidable as the game grows and matures.

The price go up by buyers want to get more profits from selling, and buyers still buy it as they still can afford to paying. The price will go up more and more, however, when it reach to maximum point (when the buyers cannot willing to buy/afford) no one will buy it. As demand and supply, sellers will reduce the price (if not, no one can buy it -> can not gain profit). After many changing, the economy will be stable. The current economy look like still go high and unstable, it is because people still can afford the price.

If you see it high then don't buy it, people still sell with the high price because they know some people still pay for large money for get it whatever the price. That is so shame for their business, but it is similar to real life. More reason why it happen (price go up), because PRO not have enough grind. Let me said about last time, people always complaint about how it hard, how to make money fast, why subway so expensive,... I can say they never think about the result - that is now appear as inflation in PRO.

That's new player mentality. MS doesn't increase your chance to find rare pokemon and there's only a small handful of pokemon exclusive to MS players. There are sooo many non member pokemon early game you can catch and make good money.

Pikachu, budew, snubbull, chimchar, fletching, pineco, ferroseed, joltik, venipede, vulpix, magikarp, growlithe, scyther, chansey, snorlax, abra, gastly, heracross, clefairy, horsea, squirtle, bulbsaur, charmander, electabuzz, murkrow, machop, houndour..... etc.......

Almost every one of those pokemon are available to non members by the 4th gym, if not 6th. Catch an epic and you're looking at anywhere from 150-500k depending on the pokemon. A godly can net you over 1 million. You say a new member has to be lucky to catch an epic pokemon? Guess what, high levels need to be lucky too.
