Thor, by "Alolan" Pokemon, does it means just the regional variant (Sandshrew, Vulpix, Diglett) or does it also include the Alola Dex Pokemon like Litten, Pikipek, Dhelmise, and Bruxish?

When they will able to get cryogonal and castform?

there will be some non kanto alolan pokemon there, but definitely not the starters

- The region will effectively replace the quest to go to Sinnoh.

 

Does that mean that we won't have to battle the 6 trainers with Starmie, Illumise, etc. in order to acces Sinnoh but that the story progression will now be: Kanto -> Johto -> Hoenn -> Sevii Islands -> Sinnoh ?
