  1. Hi everyone, Thor here. In approximately 7 days (sometime around the 25th and 26th of May, Sevii island will be closed off to players. I will share an approximation of what will be happening with the region; - Sevii will have a brand new story but based on events that transpire in current games. - Sevii will no longer be MS exclusive (Don't worry MS guys, there will be more content for you guys to access exclusively later on) - The region will effectively replace the quest to go to Sinnoh. - Some Alolan Pokemon will be obtainable here. Hopefully this will make up for the 8-12 weeks that it will be closed for while we reshape the region!

  2. Good evening, I would like to share a simple guide for EV and exp grinding spots in Kanto. EV Spots HP Viridian Forest - Caterpies grant +1 HP EV point per battle, one of the easiest spots to locate and caterpies are very common in the viridian forest. Route 6 - There's a lake in route 6 (north of Vermillion City) full of Slowpokes. Slowpokes grant +1 HP EV per battle, this spots is a nice place because there's a poke center nearby, so if your pokemon faints, you can immediately go to the poke center and heal your pokemon. Cinnabar Mansion - This place is crawling with Grimers (+1) and Muks (+2). You can EV grind on the 3rd floor, there's a possiblity that you encounter a Charmander or a Magmar which are both rare pokemon. Two birds in one stone =)) Attack Route 12 - Route 12 has always been my favorite grinding spot. This place is full of Bellsprouts (+1) and Weepinbells (+2), they appear 24/7 so you will never run out of Attack EVs. This place is also a good grinding spot for Exp because of the high Exp you can get from the Weepinbells and Pidgeottos. Snorlax (rare) also spawns here. Cinnabar Island - An easier Attack grinding spot. This place is great for low leveled pokemon to grind attack EVs because the Goldeens and Krabbys that spawn here are low leveled (below 20) and there's a poke center really close. Defense Rock Tunnel - Geodudes (+1) and Gravelers (+2) are very common here. There's also a Nurse Joy at the end of Rock Tunnel which makes this place perfect for grinding Defense EVs. Onix (+1) can also be found here, but he's more uncommon compared to the Geodudes and Gravelers. Victory Road - An advanced version of Rock Tunnel. This is literally a higher leveled version of the Rock Tunnel, they spawn the same pokemon for Defense but stronger, also a good place for lvling your pokemon up. Special Attack Route 5 - At night, this place is full of Oddishes (+1) and Glooms (+1). This place is a not so good spot but still usable because it only spawns the Oddish at night, so you can't use this spot during morning and day. Route 6 - You can find a lot of Psyducks (+1) in the lake. There's a nearby poke center in Vermillion City so this one is good for grinding Special Attack EVs. Seafoam b4f - Advanced version of the lake in route 6, full of Psyducks (+1) and Golducks (+2). There's a Nurse Joy nearby, which is nice. This place is also good for Exp grinding. Special Defense Surf - Tentacools are VERY COMMON, almost everywhere you surf, there's a Tentacool (+1) so just use Surf and you'll be fine with the Special Def EVs. Seafoam Islands - Seels (+1) and Dewgongs (+2) are common here. Again, a good place for lvling up. Speed Everywhere - Pidgeys (+1) and Rattatas (+1) are way to abundant in kanto. Diglett Cave - Digletts (+1) and Dugtrios (+2) are VERY COMMON here (duh), Zubats (+1) also spawn here which makes the Speed EV grinding easy. Route 12 - A good place to combine Attack and Speed EV grinding because aside from the Bellsprouts for Attack, Pidgeys and Pidgeottos spawn here quite often. Experience grinding tips I'll keep this short. lvl 20 - 30 - Diglett Cave lvl 31 - 50 - Route 12 lvl 51 - 85 - Seafoam b4f lvl 86 - 100 Victory Road Thanks for reading this guide. Cheers!

  3. Pokémon Special Counterparts In Pokémon Revolution Online, some Pokémon from the same species may occur with a different look than you could expect, this Pokémon are meant with having a 'Special Counterpart'. Such Pokémon are, besides their look, not different in any way to their 'normal' looking counterparts. 'Special Counterparts' is a less used term. In players tongue, usually the term 'Form/s' is used, sometiemes with more specifications if needed; 'Want to buy Christmas Form Eevee'. Shiny form Pokémon are also part of the original Pokémon games, spawn very rarely and are noticable by their different colors. Other forms are are mostly Pokémon Revolution Online exclusive Pokémon, created by our artists. They are also rare to find but not as rare as shinies. Usually they can be found randomly like normal Pokémon or can be given by NPC's and some, usually legendaries, are given out by a quest. On the left you see a regular Manaphy. In the middle you see its shiny counterpart and on the right you can see it's PRO exclusive christmas form. Odd's, availability and categories Most forms are only available during special events and/or locations, they are also usually themed to this event's or areas. As this applies to most forms, they can be categorized well and the playerbase does that too. What follows is a small summary of the most basic information. All shown Pokémon sprites are taken from the PRO Wiki page Pokémon Counterparts Shiny Pokémon Shiny Pokemon 'Shinies' The 'usual' shiny Pokémon from the original games Available at any time in the year in the wilderness Their odds to spawn are 1/8192 (0.0122%) Bosses can reward shiny Pokémon, with the option to 'have a higher shiny chance' the chance increases to 1/4096 The karp seller at Route 3 Poké Center has a 1/500 chance to give you a shiny Magikarp Abadoned Pokémon have a 1/500 shiny chance Reviving fossils at labs have a 1/1000 shiny chance They wont be visualized here - they are too many forms as every single Pokémon has a shiny form. If you still want to know how your desired shiny Pokémon looks like, you can for example go to your Poké Dex in-game, search that Pokémon up and then click on the image of the dex data spread sheet. You will not only see the shiny sprite but also all other forms available! In case you don't have the dex entry, you can also search up in the internet as shinies are not PRO exclusive and don't look different than in the original games. Pinkan Pokémon Pinkan Pokémon They are indeed Pink Available at Pinkan Island at any time of the year Their odds to spawn are 1/1500 On Pinkan island only Pinkan and Shiny Pokémon can spawn, no other forms Pinkan island is a special area you first need to have access to: Pinkan island quest Shadow Pokémon Shadow Pokémon They appear dark and gray compared to their normal forms Available at the Forlorn and Ruins of the Vale Nesting Grounds at any time of the year This areas can only be accessed if your guild managed to be in the top 3 of the Dungeon ladder, and then only 1 hour per day untill the ladder is reset Their odds are not revealed Clone Pokémon Clone Pokémon Based on the looks of the clone Pokémon in the first Pokémon movie Only available during the PRO anniversary celebration (Around august/september) at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed Easter themed Pokémon Easter themed Pokémon Only available during the Easter event at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed Valentine themed Pokémon Valentine themed Pokémon Only available during the Valentine Day's event at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed May 4th/Star Wars themed Pokémon May 4th/Star Wars Event Based on the Star Wars day; the forms have something to do with this franchise Available around the Star Wars day (May 4th) at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed Summer themed Pokémon Summer themed Pokémon Only availabe during the Summer event at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed Halloween themed Pokémon Halloween themed Pokémon Only available during PRO's Halloween event at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are nor revealed Christmas Themed Pokémon Christmas themed Pokémon Only available during the christmas event at any map where a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed Pikachu World Quest Forms Pikachu World Quest Only available during a Pikachu World Quest at any map where a base form spawns This event happened only once yet and there is no information when it will be repeated Their odds are not revealed April Fool's April Fool's They have no specific theme, but they are made to fool us In the past, all generation 1 Pokémon had their generation 1 sprites for a few days Only available during the April fool (around 1st April) at any mapwhere a base form spawns Their odds are not revealed

  5. Hello all, I haven't played since right before Sinnoh was released. Job has moved me over 6000 miles from east to west to east coasts in the last year. Glad to be back. No idea what to expect or what is new. Just seeing we have to choose between Silver / Gold instead of going back to my Blue server has me excited. Don't know if I'll be on silver or gold yet as I can't figure out how to log back in (separate issue already posted in support). But can't wait to get it figured out! Well, I hope to see some of you in game. Good Luck catching!

  6. Hi PRO Players, As most of you are aware, PRO has introduced 4 new minibosses in the form of Lugia, Ho-oh, Mewtwo and Rayquaza. Unfortunately there has been a slight error with the Ho-oh and Lugia minibosses since fully launched resulting in them being repeatable, with no cooldown, and in light of this, Bell Tower Roof and Whirl Islands B4F (where Lugia NPC is) has been blocked off temporarily whilst both are being fixed - which should be later today. This has, however, opened the minibosses up for unintentional abuse. If you have battled either of these (Ho-oh or Lugia) minibosses multiple times, can you please PM myself and/or @Astraea to report this. NOTE: Unreported cases will be handled via our bug abuse disciplinary routes. Only affecting Lugia or Ho-oh minibosses. Bell Tower Roof currently blocked off for Ho-oh & Whirl Islands B4F waterway blocked off for Lugia - until fix implemented. No cooldown, however once fixed will have 1-3 day cooldown. Is unaffected, and still accessible to battle as normal in Cerulean Cave B1F with 1-3 day cooldown. Is unaffected, and still accessible to battle as normal in Sky Pillar 6F with 1-3 day cooldown. Any updates or further changes will be posted within this topic! Thank you.

  9. Okay, but what I'm trying to say is that it won't even let me START the quest; Aqua and Magma never show up! I've beaten the entire game's story and being Hoenn champion is the only requirement according to the guide? The guide says the only thing you have to do is go to the guard in any PC, talk to them, then go to the power plant and Aqua and Magma are supposed to be there, but they're not. There's another person struggling with this exact same thing that PMed me in game yesterday when I was trying once again to talk to the guard to start the quest..
