  1. Hello trainers! There are several major projects for content in doing that I feel you should know about. I will note some of them down before someone leaks it the wrong way. - New Region New region is a custom approach. We call it a mini-region. But it's actually very huge. It is called Astrella, and it's done mapping wise. Region will feature a variety of spawns (gen 7 area), new content, quests, events, trade city and much more. It will be ready once script-work is done for it and once gen 7+ is fully operational, will not release it before that. Reason for a custom area is a simple one. We are unable to map anything past Unova graphic wise without having it improvised 99% and waste much time into art. The MMO setting commands a new region, so it's being delivered. With it, we will have whole game spawned with old and new Pokemon, closer to being complete. The region is currently in hands of scripters. Once they are done, I will spawn it, so you can catch some of the new Pokemon when we receive a full gen 7 update. - Unova Unova is planned and is slowly being mapped. Once it is done and ready, the whole game will be respawned from scratch due to distribution of the Pokemon around PRO world. We are also looking for mapping manpower to complete the task so that mapping side is done and ready for people to script on. - Orange Islands The Orange Islands are also being mapped and planned. Not much to say about this one. ** Note that plans may change any time. But what I said above is a current plan and it's being worked on. I want to have all mapping done before the schedule so that people can start working on the maps script wise etc. Thank you

  2. In near future there will be a significant PVP update. My full concentration is set on this right now, which is why there will probably less updates in the next time. For this PRO needs a new Battle UI, because the current one is missing a few features. There are already staff members who work on it, but as their specialty lies in other areas, I want to give everyone the possibility to participate. That's why I make a small event out of it. Everyone is allowed to create a new Battle UI and the Battle UI that will be taken over will be royally rewarded. The one gets a non-tradable shiny of your choice. The nature can be chosen, the IVs and ability will be generated randomly. The Pokemon must be catchable by everyone. The following things have to be added in the new Battle UI: - Enough space for 2v2 and 3v3 fights. - Buttons for Megas, Z-Moves and Cancel a move. - Some kind of battle log should be included as well. - Every current element (items, run away, moves, switch Pokemon) should be included obviously. - An option to show boost and effects (SPD x 1,5, Paralyzed, Taunted etc.) would be great. - Weather and room effects as well as their turn count. You do not have to stick to the current design. You can change it completely, even make it full screen mode. That is completely up to you. Please note, that if we take non of the submitted designs, there will be no winner at all. You have 30 days (Janurary 15th, 11:59 PM GMT+0) to submit a battle UI. The time might be extended if there's no usable design till then. This post will be unlocked in 2 weeks on December 30th, please post your battle UIs in here. Do not make any unrelated posts here. Please only post the final UI in here. The winner has to submit the final design, all UI elements and has to give PRO the permission to use it. Good luck to every participant.

  3. Changelog 11.08.2020: Bumped Unity to newest version. Ball animations show the ball while summoning and catching a Pokemon now. We save the balls you caught Pokemon with from now on. All previously caught Pokemon were set to Pokeball. The ball used to catch a Pokemon is displayed in the Pokemon card now. [*]Reworked swaping move positions in pokecards from arrows to drag and drop. BEFORE, AFTER [*]Reworked the client options menu. Added Show D-Pad and Relative Touch Control options. Keybindings can be removed with Escape now. [*]Reworked code parts in the Windows client patcher to make verifying a lot faster. [*]Fixed a bug where changing your Pokemon resulted in changing enemies Pokemon. [*]Super/Not very effective sound parsing which resulted in playing the wrong sound sometimes works correctly now. [*]Fixed Ferroseeds abilities, it can no longer become Anticipation. [*]Struggle no longer gets the priority from the selected move. [*]Fixed/Improves EXP mathematics. [*]Poison Touch works properly with Protect now. [*]Contrary works correctly with Intimidate now. [*]Outrage and Protect work correctly together now. [*]Outrage can only hit three times now. [*]Life Orb and Water Shuriken work properly with Water Absorb now. [*]Pressure works as intended now. [*]White Herb gets consumed now. [*]Encore and Disable work as intended now. [*]U-Turn works properly now. [*]Volt Switch works properly now. [*]Baton Pass works properly now. Baton Pass passes SPATK now. Baton Pass has priority with Prankster now. [*]Healing Wish works now. [*]Lunar Dance works now. [*]Substitute works now. [*]Protect works correctly after enemy's switch out now. [*]Foul Play ignores enemies ability and holding item now. [*]Choice items do not lock you anymore when the move does not go off due to paralyze, flinch etc. [*]Minimize now raises the user's evasion by two stages, instead of one. [*]Simple Beam works now. [*]Leech Life heals correctly now. For some reason it healed 50% of the attackers life. [*]A few moves still had Gen5-6 Base Powers and Accuracies. They were updated to Gen7. Base Power: Assurance, Chatter, Draco Meteor, Energy Ball, Hydro Pump, Lick, Magma Storm, Overheat, Power Gem, Smog, Surf, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Vine Whip, Meteor Mash and Leaf Storm. Accuracy: Gunk Shot, Poison Gas, Psycho Shift, Will-O-Wisp, Meteor Mash, Roar, Topsy-Turvy and Whirlwind. [*]Trick Room and Wonder Room will now be used if the opponent switches in a Pokemon that dies to Stealth Rock. [*]Battle Bond works now. Water Shuriken gets 20 BP and always hits 3 times with activated Battle Bond. Greninja with Battle Bond is not yet catchable. [*]Stance Change works now. [*]King's Shield works now. [*]Mega Evolutions are implemented now. Megastones cannot be removed in battles (via Knock Off, Trick or Thief f.e.). NPCs can mega evolve their Pokemon correctly now. Pokemon can hold Megastones but Pokemon holding Megastones and Megastones are not tradable. More and more Megastones will be available in-game with new content over time. [*]If a Pokemon dies before the opponent used a move the move will be used and fail now. This is the correct behaviour, triggers choice items lock and reveals a possible new move. [*]Fixed a bug where Destiny Bond killed the wrong Pokemon. [*]Fake Out and Truant work correctly with U-Turn, Volt Switch and Baton Pass now. They used to fail if used after getting switched in via one of these moves. [*]Tailwind works correctly with Prankster now. Prankster should be fully fixed with that. [*]Filter works now. [*]Endure may fail if used in succession now. [*]White Herb gets consumed correctly now. [*]Reworked Encore and Disable, Struggle works correctly with that now. [*]Focus Sash works correctly with Hazards, Stealth Rock, Spikes and Poison now. Shedinja with Focus Sash is no longer banned in Ranked PvP. [*]Added [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] command and button in battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] works in all battles, counts as a loss and has a five minutes cooldown in Ranked PvP battles. The five minutes cooldown is only for the command and has nothing to do with the battles. [iCODE]/surrender[/iCODE] does not add a ten minutes cooldown to enter the Ranked PvP Queue again. [*]Added [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] command in Ranked PvP battles. [iCODE]/draw[/iCODE] only works in PvP battles and ends without a winner or loser. Draw requests can only be sent alternately to avoid spam requests. The draw requests expire after 30 seconds. [*]Technician works properly now. It didn't use the base power before. [*]Expert Belt works properly for physical moves now. [*]Fixed three bugs that possibly made your PvP battles go stuck. The first bug happened when both Pokemon died with Weather Effects involved. The second bug happened when you went in Queue with a dead Pokemon. That's the bug where you summoned a Pokemon and it instantly died and made your battle stuck. [*]The third bug was a combination of switching moves and Choice lock items. [*]Fixed an urgent bug in received and sent mails. [*]Removed Xanascript shops entirely from the server code. [*]Added user.gender in Python. [*]Changed quite a bit of the client-server API. We use the UID instead of the index in many cases now. [*]Pokemon instantly get an UID now. [*]Fixed a bug with the max visible users. The code was simply wrong and caused that users stopped moving, disappeared or took too long to appear. Reworked NPC LoS with the same code. [*]Fixed a bug where Xanascript NPCs returned the wrong Hidden Power. [*]Client battle code completely reworked and battle animations slightly changed. This does not include attack animations. [*]Catch rate was adjusted to the handhelds and every shake has a chance to break out now. [*]Added many cosmetics (mounts, headgears) and tiles for future content. [*]Reworked PvP timer. Everyone has a 180 seconds overall timer that gets +15 seconds every round. Infinite time stalling should not be possible anymore. [*]Improved layer handling. The Pokedex and other stuff don't flicker anymore. [*]The catch rate chance has been reworked based on gen7 and works as intend now. It should be easier to catch pokemon like Beldum. [*]Many, many, many code optimizations, clean-ups, small reworks and bug fixes. Known Issues in Mega Edition These are no new bugs but affect this update Multi-hits do not heal absorb abilities (escept Water Absorb). Multi-hits do not have Independent calculations.

  5. Developers to-do list:  //This has no order and does not mean we are working on it right now. It's just what we have on our to-do list. Auction House //An auction house that'll be usable in-game and on the Dashboard. Box rework //A general box rework to add more filters, split the boxes, add mass delete and so on. Event icons rework //The current icon code is really, really bad and needs a rework so we can easily add more information/icons. Battle animation adjustments //That mainly affects the catch animation and a few small adjustments. PRO Editor updates //Many, many updates for the PRO Editor as well as a map server rework from scratch which is already done. The editor is currently in a not working state. In-game layer rework //The character and map layer client code is a mess but that's a mammoth project. Make flying mounts/followers keep flying while standing still //Upgrade of the animation capability for the character sprites. Possibly new animation options. Mod tools updates //Mainly for GMs, a few fixes and small feature requests. Reconnect //That's not only for PvP but in general so users that disconnect unplanned reconnect without even realizing it in the background. Very complex problems. Lending Trade //Probably needs another rework from scratch. Visual for room moves //Probably just a new background as long as the rooms are active, Artists where are you?! Visual for active stat changes //Not sure how to do that yet, might be a space-related problem. Battle log //Some plans but probably not easy with ngui. Higher PvP rating at season start //Would like to start the season with a higher rating so you can actually lose something. PvP elo system //Easy to say, hard to do. PvP encounter rating limit //An option to not encounter users with more than 100 PvP rating less than you. Random Battles and ladder //Not much to say about. Slider to change how many users you can see on the same map //To unburden old hardware without the need to use foreveralone. Options to see friends- and/or guildies-only as well. Mail adjustments //Check whether an item is mailable or not when putting it in the mail and not after trying to send it and a mail confirmation to avoid sending it to the wrong user. Transform and Imposter //Ditto needs some love. Illusion //Hard to do cause you need to send different pokes to each user which requires a rework of the code at 180 different places. Username borders //Didn't think about it any further. Forum change //Xenforo is everything but not user-friendly nor easy to work with and we need to get rid of unique emails. Z-Moves //Boom, baam, damage, yknow.. Dynamic window layering //There are so many window layering problems recently that I rather add dynamic window layering a la Windows. Fixing all incorrectly coded moves and abilities //https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/28126-list-of-broken-moves-abilities-in-pro/ Rework multi-hits //In handhelds every multi-hit has its own damage calculation, crit chance and so on. Required for Parental Bond. Rework winning order //Right now, moves like Destiny Bond and recoil let the wrong user win if both die the same turn. Dungeons á la Mystery Dungeons //Player will have to climb maps as a Pokemon. Repetitive content with a chance of different rewards at the top. Ladders in client UI //Show all kind of ladders in the client UI. That includes OU Ranked, Random Ranked and Total Playtime.           ▣ High priority                    ▣ Normal priority                    ▣ Low priority                    ▣ Completed Please do not suggest any of the features/planned changes above as they are already on our to-do list!

  7. Hey, I have some suggestions regarding the current PC-System. I am aware that this is low priority, but I am pretty sure that it is a really good and wanted QoL change. I saw similar posts, but those did not match entirely with the thoughts I had about the PC. If you like or dislike any of them, please leave a reply in this topic. 1. Naming Boxes. PvP-Box, PvE-Box, Shiny Box etc. I know it is possible to sort it like that with a bit of effort but the naming would make the whole sorting way more pleasant. 2. Adding and naming Categories One Box consists of 5 Rows which contain 3 Pokémon each. Adding a [-] Split function to split the Box in two Categories (which both can be named) containing 6 Pokémon each for a full team (12 per splitted box) would be great. This would be especially useful for entire PvP teams, but can be used to sort a lot of different things aswell. 3. Free movement in the box. Each Slot in every box should be usable for any Pokémon no matter how much we caught or if those are filled with Pokémon. This would allow us to use the last boxes for PvP-Teams (using the Split function), Shinys, Boss-Pokémon etc. whilst the boxes in the front will not be messed up by (or simply used for) catching new wild Pokémon. 4. Checking and mass-deleting Pokémon. Adding a simple checkbox to every Pokémon and being able to click a trashcan to release all of them together. This will prevent the time consuming and annoying process of releasing every single Pokémon slowly, especially after catching hundreds. 5. Mark favorites. Small, not needed change I thought about. Marking Pokémon with a little star and being able to only show those. This is for example useful to mark epic or just really good Pokémon when you caught hundreds of the same kind to differentiate those from the bad (and hopefully mass-delete the rest). Thanks to @SchattenDialga for the visualization. Make sure to check out his shop here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/103263-url

  8. I want to add a lending option in PRO. You can lend Pokemon to others but if you trade money or items in the same trade they won't be returned automatically. The Pokemon cannot be returned if the users is currently in battle, but they will be returned instantly after the battle ended. Pokemon that are from other users will be RED colored in chats. So they can't be used to scam or fake auctions. Pokemon you lent from other users can only be traded to the original owner. The duration will always be sent in the trade request and confirmation. For example: You write [iCODE]/trade Eaty,1[/iCODE] and trade a Blaziken for 100k, the Blaziken will automatically be returned after 1 day while the money stays on the receivers account. Please tell me your opinions about it in this post!

  10. Ever since the announcement of the Guild Island, I have wanted to give feedback about it, but have been unable to due to time constraints and lack of motivation. Firstly, I am upset with how long we have been promised a Guild Island, only for it to not even be available to my guild (or most other guilds!) Secondly, I have privately made my opinions known to several staff members, but in light of recent events, it seems appropriate to make my feelings public. I am aware that regardless of the opinions of myself or the playerbase at large, the staff might refuse to make substantive changes to the Guild Island. As the leader of a guild, I was very excited when I first heard of the concept of a Guild Island around two years ago. I was excited for new features for guilds aside from the Guild chat, the logo, and EXP boosts. I was excited because there is not much for Guilds to do. All that excitement shattered when I heard that the Guild Island was to be for the top 3 PvP Guilds only. We were told that it would make the Guild PvP ladder more competitive - but it has instead had the opposite effect. PvP players have largely coalesced in three guilds on each server - making it virtually impossible for any other guild to have a chance. With regard to the work put in to 'earn' access to Guild Island - was there ever really a question as to whether or not you would make it? You would play PvP regardless for the singleplayer rewards. I agree that PvP guilds should get something, but I cannot fathom why it has to be Guild Island, which is largely PvE content. From the last thread which was posted in March, it seems that quite a few people agree with my point of view. There should be a way for small or PvE guilds to unlock this feature. It is demotivating for Guilds that are not established in PvP to try to get into the scene as the top 3 are already full of experienced players. There are a plethora of good suggestions as to how to do this - there could be a special area within the Island for the top 3 guilds, for example - or, perhaps, guilds outside the top 3 could be expected to buy in on a monthly basis. Furthermore, I feel that PvE in general has been neglected as of late. There have been a lot of changes tailored to the PvP playerbase, including new legendaries and a NPC which allows you to keep sets for legendaries. When will there be new permanent PvE content that isn't just another boss? Why is the only recent major PvE update restricted to PvP players? Why do staff not consult players for PvE topics, while there is a thread every other week for PvP? Lastly, it has become ever more difficult for smaller Guilds to recruit players. When I try to recruit, the first question I am asked is always some variation of "Are you a top 3 Guild?" or "Does your Guild have Guild Island?" It's horrible and demotivating. PvE Guilds and players deserve better.

  14. Hello! This year's Christmas event will be a bit shorter, but the focus is very much on your needs and fun. First a little reminder; To fully enjoy the event, you must have already defeated the Hoenn E4 and not be locked in any region! Let's go to the first part of the event; Our hunting event! After the defeats of the last three years, the Grinch decided to challenge Santa Claus directly. Santa is very skeptical of the Grinch, but can only reach out to him on such a solemn occasion. The Grinch suggested a contest. He learned about a little elf who had to go through a lot this year. He lost his parents and is completely alone now. Of course, the Grinch thought that this year should end even more terrible. He challenged Santa to go in search of the best possible gift while the Grinch sought the worst gift possible. However, the elf would only receive the best or worst gift. But is that really all that Grinch is up to? Both are looking for the best/worst possible Pokemon now. Santa Claus and the Grinch compare their presents every advent. There will be six winners on each server, and it's possible to help out both at the same time! The big hunt starts with the first advent! _________________________________________________________________________ is looking for the best possible Pokemon! Rewards: 2nd advent: (Guaranteed HA, timid) 3rd advent: (Guaranteed HA, adamant) 4th advent: (Guaranteed HA, adamant) is looking for the worst possible Pokemon! Rewards: 2nd advent: (Guaranteed timid) 3rd advent: (Guranteed timid) 4th advent: (Guaranteed adamant) The best Pokemon will be announced via system message. Pokemon that can be submitted: (Rarer Pokemon give more points; Santa Claus only accepts good natures; The Grinch gives bonus points for no natures!) _________________________________________________________________________ Let's go to the second part! You may pick up your presents under the tree where Santa Claus is! Hopefully you will get great Christmas gifts! Unfortunately, not everyone has been a good boy or a good girl, as evil figures lurk around the island and have set their eyes on members of the Water troupe in eastern Eumi Island Theme Park. They will need your help to fight off these evil figures! _________________________________________________________________________ Do Pokemon we submit have to be caught on event maps? No, you can submit every Pokemon that was caught after the event started. What do I need to participate in the Christmas events? You need to have access to Lilycove City in Hoenn to participate. 16. About the new battle UI I explain what I think and I'm putting some gifs and images as an example, I hope you understand. About the new Battle UI I thought a lot and I came to a conclusion about doing a Battle UI based on the old one, because I think the old one is very good, and I think it would be better to recreate it because if I create a new Battle UI, I think it would bother a lot of people who hunt all day and for those people who play the game on the cell phone. So I decided to recreate the old one trying not to disturb the people who play the game on the cell phone and for those who are hunting pokemons all day. Battle 2v2 and 3v3 fights: For 2v2 battles could work with the first two pokémons of your list. For 3v3 battles could work with the first three pokémons of your list Example: In the example I put the video of the Ash playing the pokeballs because I had not found an animation on the internet just playing the pokeball. Button for Megas: For the megas I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Button for Z-Moves: For the Z-MOVES I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Button for Cancel: For the Cancel I think it should stay down as it is there in the example. Example: Battle Logs: I think it would be nice to create a button next to the logs, as soon as it clicks the button will appear the logs next. Because there are people who get pokemons all day long, and with the logs appearing this right away I think I could mess up these people who are hunting many pokemons. More information looks at the example below. Example: Buffs, Paralyzed, Taunted etc: Paralyze, taunts, buffs and etc. I think I should stay in below life because I think it would look cool because it was going to look like the other pokemon games! Paralyze, taunts and etc. should appear before, and the buffs soon after. More information looks at the example below. Example: Then in the example you will see that he took Paralyze, it is because the pikachu used an attack and gave paralyze in Eevee, and the Paralyze appeared before the buffs. Weather and room effects as well as their turn count: The weather and counting should be right there in the upper right corner, showing that she is in such a Climate and showing the count of turns that she ends up. More information looks at the example below. Example: Extra: I think it would be nice to put a percentage of the Pokémon's life at the time of battle. Example: I made some changes in the post to put the bigger gifs because they were too small and hard to see. Thank you for your attention. :D

  17. About Guild Islands Guilds didn't get much love in PRO as many of you already know but I want to change this. But this is something I simply can't do alone, I need as much input from guilds as possible for this. My first project will be a guild islands. This means that guilds will be able to buy their own island in the future - but do not forget; No ETA, no guarantee, just an idea right now. I want to share my ideas regarding this with the community and get your input, concerns and/or suggestions. But don't forget that the guild island shouldn't be too op. It should be a cool place, but you shouldn't stay there 24/7! Those are my plans so far: You will be able to buy a guild island for $20.000.000. Only guild members can enter the island. There will be three dungeon maps with spawns. You can choose your own spawns from a drop down menu. The Pokemon in the drop down menu will be decided by staff members. There will be balanced tiers and you have to choose pokemon for different tiers. [*]You can choose 10 Tutors that will be placed on the island. [*]Only guild leaders can buy the island and change spawns/tutors. Changing spawns and/or tutors costs $5.000.000. [*]All guilds will get the same maps with different spawns/tutors. [*]You will be able to buy the island and change stuff on the PRO website. [*]The guild island will not be accessible until next server restart after buying it. [*]There will be an NPC in Vermilion City, Canalave City, Olivine City and Lilycove that can teleport you to your guild island. [*]You can choose a PVP or Hunt path and get daily quests matching your choice. Maps (Guild will be replaced with the guild name): Guild Island Guild HQ (Daily quest will be here) Guild Spirit Room (Tutors will be here) Guild Dungeon 1 Guild Dungeon 2 Guild Dungeon 3 Guild House 1 Guild House 2 Guild House 3 Guild Pokecenter Guild Pokemart Requirements: Your guild needs at least 50 members. You need at least 300 hours to enter the guild island. You need to be Sinnoh champion to enter the island. Already rejected: EV train areas. High level spots. Allow guild friends to enter. Please do not make individual posts. Yes, that means I don't want everyone to make a post! I ask guild leaders to collect inputs and make a post for the whole guild.

  20. TRADE RULES NOTE: When trading as part of an auction, be aware that in addition to the rules listed below, all Auction Rules apply. GENERAL TRADE RULES 1. When advertising, be clear and accurate about what you are buying or selling. - When stating a Pokemon is IV+ (25+, 26+, etc), all stats must be equal to, or above the advertised numbers. › Exception: Decreased ATK, SPATK or SPD stats. › e.g. A Timid Pokemon may be advertised as 25+, if all stats except Attack are above 25. 2. Announcing a lend, sale, offer or bid with no intention or means to follow through is prohibited. 3. Once a deal is agreed upon, you cannot back out of it. A deal is done in one of these two scenarios: - In-game: Both parties have agreed to a price and location. - Forum & Auction: An Insta or Fixed Price has been met, or auction won. 4. Scamming, Misleading or Deceiving players is prohibited. 5. Reserves (buy now, pay later agreements) are prohibited. Players must have the means to make full payment from the time of committing to a trade agreement (making an offer, bid, or agreeing to a deal) until completion of the trade or outbid. 6. Offers received outside of an auction cannot be: - Claimed or used as current or best offer. - Used as a starting bid without the buyer's permission. 7. Trades outside of official PRO platforms (Forum, In-game, Discord) are not supported, or enforced by PRO Staff. - Reports or evidence regarding trade agreements made on Discord may not be accepted. 8. All goods gained or traded as a result of an Account Hack or Scam will be forcefully corrected, any trade agreements made in such circumstances will be considered void. - In the event that a trade agreement has been made, or a trade has taken place with any third party involving goods gained via an Account Hack, this will be forcefully reversed where possible, regardless of known or direct involvement. 9. When making a service agreement (Level-Up, EV-Training, Lending, PokeDex Data, Story / Quest, Boss, etc), players must take full responsibility to ensure that the service is completed as agreed. Any actions not approved by the agreement are prohibited. - This includes: unapproved trades to or from own accounts or third parties, irreversible damage (evolving), payment is made, etc. › Evidence of these agreements must be made and kept, and made available upon Staff request. 26. During all this time, competitive Guilds (PvP) have been forced to use an internal Queue system to prevent their members from bumping into a qualifying battle and from getting their ratings removed and / or damaging the Guild points. This system is the Q and G, which many Guilds currently continue to apply, the truth is that we have become accustomed to this, that practically a large part of users place it and respect this rule as if it were an official game, but, there is always one That another problem, someone unnoticed, someone ignorant who breaks the rule, and even sometimes bored waiting for the "G" of your guildmate to send your "Q", this perhaps, is not very noticeable in a Guild PvE, but in PvP happens very often. So I suggest that a Queue system be added to prevent fighting between Guildmates. That is, that 10 users from the same Guild can search for battle at the same time and they do not bump into each other, on the contrary, each of the 10 obtain external rivals, outside the Guild. While it is true, with the current PRO client system it is impossible to add my suggestion, but, many changes are coming soon and I think, the PvP in the Guilds will grow massively, I mean people playing it and this would be very necessary and would help the community to maintain order within the Guilds.

  27. Changelog 01.12.2021: Reworked: Reworked Sleep Code. Sleep Clause should respect all cases now. (Yawn too). Chesto Berry activate immediately now and not at the end of the round. Reworked Freeze, Burn, Poison and Para Code: Lum Berry activates immediately and not at the battle end now. Pecha Berry activates immediately and not at the battle end now. Cheri Berry activates immediately and not at the battle end now. Aspear Berry activates immediately and not at the battle end now. Reworked all binding Moves. A Pokémon can be only affected by one partial trapping move at a time now. Grip Claw remains in effect for the duration of the binding move, even if the item is removed afterwards. Reworked all Moves with a semi-invulnerable turn Added a visual "Effect" for these moves. Gale Wings' interaction with Fly works properly now This should fix all known bugs with these moves. Reworked client layering. Fixed all weird layer issues. Fixed all weird follower issues. Fixed lighting near bridges/different heights. There will be one footprint per step now instead of two. Many, many, many other changes/fixes. Fixed: Poison damage and Poison Heal trigger after you hit yourself in confusion now. Hyper Fang and Psychic Fangs receive a boost in power if the user has Strong Jaw now. Trap and Bind Effects are separated from status conditions and act as volatile status condition now. Magma Storm, Whirlpool etc. should do extra damage each turn now even if your opponent is paralyzed. If a Pokemon transforms into a Pokémon that has no type (i.e. it was a pure Fire type that used Burn Up), it will become Normal-type now. If a Pokemon transforms into a Pokémon whose last used move was Roost, it will copy the Flying-type part now. Explosion or Selfdestruct faints now even though there was no target. Before it simply failed instead. Added a dead check in the check berry method. This should prevent that Oran Berry gets activated after the usage of self-fainting moves. If a Pokemon with Immunity is poisoned and holding a Pecha or Lum Berry, the Berry will be eaten and cure the Pokémon of poison before Immunity has a chance to activate now. Leppa Berry, if held by a Pokémon, restores 10 PP to a move that drops to 0 in battle. Toxic's accuracy is now 90% instead of 81%. Toxic will never miss If is used by a Poison Pokemon now. 29. Can we revert it to how it was previously? It would be suuuuuper annoying now to have 30-40 sync Pokémon in your Pc just for the repel trick... I mean, does everything has to be 100% like in the originals? ._.

  30. With the merge between the Red Server and the Blue Server coming sometime next week, with a tentative possibility of it happening this upcoming weekend. We made this post to inform you of everything you need to know about the merge. This post will be updated with more information over time as well. You can choose to merge both accounts, or keep them, as shown below on this screenshot. Do note, if you decide to merge, then the story progress on one account will be deleted, but you get to keep all Pokemon, items, etc. [spoiler=How things will look] Now if you select option 1 you can do this in the screenshot below: That being said, here is a FAQ to help answer your questions and concerns about the merge. (Do note that more information will be added over time.): Q: What is the ETA? A: Looks like this upcoming weekend. Progress is 100% done and just needs to be tested. It takes less than a second to merge an account. Q: What happens if my Pokemon and Items are over the limit allowed and I don't want to make a new account and merge everything into one? A: Items will cap at 999, the rest will be cut. And as for Pokemon, you will be forced to keep both accounts if the combined total is over the 1000 Pokemon limit. Q: I want to be able to choose which progress I use! How do I do it? A: Just as shown in the screenshot above, you will be able to select your progress from the server that you want. Q: I have legendaries on both servers. What will happen to them? A: If you have the same species of legendaries on both accounts, you'll have the option to keep both accounts, or to choose one of the two to keep. Q: What about my playtime? A: Playtime will be merged. Q: There is a guild on with the same name as mine on the other server! What will happen to my guild? A: All Guilds will be deleted and leaders will get reimbursed 400k. This is to prevent any collisions that may occur. Important: Guilds have one week to recreate their guilds if they have a guild post that's older than a week. Q: What about the pvp season?!?!? A: The new pvp season will not start until the merge is complete. Q: What will the new server name be? A: Gold and Silver! Q: What about the current event?! A: Will be extended based off of how long things take and when the merge drops. Q: Does it take long to merge? A: Absolutely not. It's easy and quickly done. Q: I play PRO on my phone, can I do the merge with it? A: Yes, the website is phone compatible. Q: My account is banned, can I still merge it? A: You can't. If you are only banned on one server then you can keep both accounts, but you have to rename the account that's not banned. Important: If you are currently appealing then it might be better to wait for the final outcome and decide afterwards. Q: What happens to my mails? A: They will be merged. The sender will be changed to Eaty, but the original sender will be added to the title. Q: I need a list of all my guildies, is this possible? A: Yes, you will automatically get mails with a list of all your old guildies. Q: Do I lose something with the merge? A: Pretty much everything will be merged except the clothes you wear. The clothes you wear on the server you didn't choose as main server will be deleted. To prevent this you should take them off before you merge your account! Q: Not related to the merge, but when does Eaty recover my legendary? A: Good question and related to the merge! Legendaries won't be recovered anymore. If you want your legendary back you can do this: Choose the server you didn't catch it yet as main server. Merge your accounts. Fulfill the requirements for the legendary. Catch it again! If you deleted your legendary recently then they can still be recovered. How to merge: Step 1: Login in your dashboard and click on Merge is required! Step 2: Done!

  31. First of all, I'd like to say that there's no ETA for the updated PvP Quests and it's only to collect ideas for now! PvP Quests Heyho, we plan to add three kinds of Ranked PvP Quests in the future: - Daily PvP Quest - Weekly PvP Quests - Seasonal PvP Quest Daily PvP Quest: Daily PvP Quests will be some easy quests such as: - Play X matches. - Win X matches. - Play a game with X in your team. My personal goal with daily quests is to introduce new players to ranked PvP and give veterans a reason to play more often. Weekly PvP Quests: Weekly PvP Quests will be a bit harder such as: - Get a minimum of X rating. - Win X matches with Y as your opener. - Win X matches with at least Y OT Pokemon in your team. Weekly quests should be harder to do but therefore more rewarding. Seasonal PvP Quests: Every user will get random seasonal PvP Quest he needs to finish until the season ended such as: - Get top25 at season end. - Get X rating without using your most used Pokemon last season. I want seasonal PvP Quests to be hard for most players but it should be rewarded very well. All PvP Quests above are some examples I had after thinking about it for a few minutes. I ask you guys to think about it for a while and tell me what PvP Quest you'd like to get! Rewards I plan to introduce PvP Tokens as ladder rewards, additionally to the already existing PvP Coins. I plan to reward PvP Quests mainly with PvP Tokens and here and there with PvP Coins (or items you obtain with PvP Coins, similar as the Master Ball or Focus Sashes you currently get). But definitely more Tokens than PvP Coins. I am not fully sure about this yet but I am open for suggestions!

  34. Hello everyone, This thread is in regards to the recent changes made to PvE that have really disappointed most of the community that plays the game solely for it's PvE aspect, myself being one of these players. The limit on the amount of bosses we can battle is not only demotivating for PvE players but also completely destroys the fun of that aspect of the game. We are forced to choose what bosses we want to battle in the limited time frame and can no longer discuss things like strategies on how to achieve the shortest boss run etc which was part of the fun. For myself personally, I feel completely distanced and neglected as a PvE player in PRO by the recent changes and with megas being implemented into PRO it serves to show that the game is catering towards its PvP community to an overwhelming degree. What really triggered my frustration the most is this: Today, I decided to log in for a test run on my love island boss strategy that I've been working on for months, recording it every time and tweaking it in order to upload a solid strategy onto YouTube that can potentially help other players struggling with this boss as I have in the past. For those of you who play PvE you will know exactly how annoying this boss duo is to defeat consistently considering the amount of threats each of their teams has, from the guts flareon to the serene grace shaymin sky flinchathon and the MG alakazam with focus sash that seems to love critting us. After completing this battle I realized the reward was cut by half! I only got 46k and 5 PvE coins for a boss I need to pay 5k to get to assuming I'm already in vermilion city and don't have a travel pass that costs the ridiculous amount of 300k a month. Imagine that! One of the hardest boss duo in the game completely cut down and getting a measly reward for the effort on a boss that's literally a coin flip and one mistake can cost you the battle putting you on a 12 day cool down. How frustrating! When bosses are our main source of income and we need to cover the cost of travel debt, ev training, safari zone they all cost money. Not every player uses trading as their main source of income and not every player plays pvp either to make money off their coins! If you're going to nerf the reward nerf the boss too. I feel there is a complete lack of communication between the staff and the players of this community, as we weren't even told in the announcements which boss rewards were nerfed specifically, and giant sudden changes like this make players feel isolated from the staff of this game. You guys really need to pick up your game when it comes to identifying player needs and fix the issues at their core, not some patch work solution in hopes to avoid mass profit on multiple accounts. It should not be a generalized solution that punishes all players. I've loved this game for a long time I really have, I've seen the potential it has had to be great for all the years I've been playing, and I wish it would grow even larger and become a popular game once again, but in all honesty changes like these aren't doing the game any good. You're slowly driving away more and more veteran players who are attracted to that aspect of that game specifically and have stuck with it for those reasons. A lot of us feel like we're not just players in this game but we've witnessed the development of this game from the get-go so we're all mini testers and have grown attached to the game after seeing what it was and where it's at now. If you would only take advantage of the community's opinions and feedback you will benefit so much from it. We're all literally at your disposal and all you need to do is lend an ear to listen. Peace, XanthinaRose

  37. An unhealthy Battle Bond: The Ash-Greninja case The other thread has quickly gone downhill and I am late to the party, so I decided to make a new thread instead, in hopes of getting more of you to notice this post and maybe read it. From what I have read, I can tell that some people are really underselling Ash-Greninja’s capabilities due to the presence of a few so-called counters and the fact that it does not activate Battle Bond without getting a kill. A Pokémon can still be ban-worthy even if it has checks and counters. Ash-Greninja was still extremely potent in SM/USUM OU. It was even ranked in S-tier for a while, until the final update before the end of USUM OU caused it to drop to A+. Keep in mind that this was in a metagame that was overprepared for it. A quick look at the SM OU Viability Ranking Thread, the USUM OU ULTRA Viability Ranking Thread, and the most recent USUM OU Viability Rankings can show us the impact that Ash-Greninja has had on the metagame while simultaneously maintaining an A+ (or higher) ranking throughout Gen 7 OU. Some of the most viable Pokémon in SM/USUM OU are able to put in work against it. For example, Toxapex stops it and can at least put down Toxic Spikes to punish it for using Spikes. Magearna can check it and either retaliate with a powerful hit or gain momentum with Volt Switch, although it cannot endlessly switch into it due to the lack of reliable recovery. Ferrothorn can also check it relatively well and trade Spikes with it, but it does not have reliable recovery, either. Faster threats, like Tapu Koko, can force it out before it activates Battle Bond. There are other countermeasures, like Tapu Lele’s Psychic Surge, which summons Psychic Terrain and effectively suspends Ash-Greninja’s Water Shuriken. While this might seem minor at first glance, it can be game-changing, potentially preventing Ash-Greninja from using its powerful priority move against a naturally faster threat or Choice Scarf user. I am not going to go through the entire viability list because it pertains to Smogon; however, it is important to understand the level of centralization caused by Ash-Greninja in Gen 7 OU. If you check some of the analyses from that metagame, you will find that many Pokémon were specifically EV’d to take on Ash-Greninja. Ferrothorn ran a heavily specially defensive spread with 252 HP EVs and 232 Special Defense EVs to ensure not getting 3HKO’d by Choice Specs Greninja’s Dark Pulse at full HP. Amoonguss also ran specially defensive sets, carrying either Black Sludge or even Assault Vest, with sufficient HP and Special Defense to check Ash-Greninja. A Calm nature was used in conjunction with 248 HP EVs and 204 Special Defense EVs to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Ash-Greninja’s Dark Pulse. The Assault Vest set was able to check Ash-Greninja better, but the loss of Spore is suboptimal. Mantine maintained an OU niche by being able to survive the 2HKO from Choice Specs Ash-Greninja’s Dark Pulse if Stealth Rock is on the field. Granted, it was a good check to other threats, such as Volcarona, but it would have even less of a niche/purpose in OU if it did not check Ash-Greninja. Mega Venusaur exclusively ran 68 Special Defense EVs to survive two Dark Pulses from Choice Specs Greninja after Stealth Rock and prevent it from activating Battle Bond. Ash-Greninja forced some Pokémon to run more specially defensive spreads to remain viable; it made a few others viable in OU because they could check it; it hurt the viability of many Pokémon that proved unable to adapt to its presence. This is not surprising, as this is what a top-tier threat does. It was manageable, but it was still one of the best Pokémon throughout all of Gen 7 OU and the level of centralization that it generated clearly shows. There were definitely some gatekeepers, like Magearna and Toxapex, that kept several top-tier threats in check. Without those Pokémon, who knows what USUM OU would look like today? Having said that, PRO is not Showdown. We do not have to ban something for the sole reason that it is/was banned on Pokémon Showdown. Conversely, we do not have to keep something just because it is/was not banned there. Hopefully, PRO can have its own PvP Council and Suspect Test Process at some point. You can read this article to learn more about the former and this one to see how Suspect Tests started. So, why should Ash-Greninja be banned in PRO? 1. We lack sufficient offensive counterplay to Ash-Greninja. Ash-Greninja sports an incredible 399 speed tier, which outpaces the entire (viable) metagame. Even pre-Battle Bond transformation, it is still really fast, boasting 377 speed. While it is slower than Weavile, pre-Battle Bond Greninja does not get Pursuit-trapped as easily as its Protean counterpart, thanks to maintaining its Dark typing, thus effectively removing one of the few ways of limiting it on an offensive level. Either way, you cannot just let Battle Bond Greninja get a kill to revenge kill it with Weavile, since Ash-Greninja outspeeds it. Even if we had everything that Gen 7 OU had, not many (viable) Pokémon would be naturally faster, but we would, at the very least, have more Megas: Mega Lopunny, Mega Manectric, Mega Alakazam, Mega Aerodactyl, etc. You can take a look at the USM OU Speed Tiers and the newer version of that list. Offensively speaking, we would also be able to take advantage of Terrain boosts (e.g., Psychic Terrain to block Water Shuriken, Grassy Terrain for passive recovery…) and Pokémon that benefit from Terrains in general (e.g., Unburden Hawlucha with Electric/Grassy/Psychic Seed). Even small things like Tapu Koko outspeeding Greninja before its Battle Bond transformation matter because they can add up. Moreover, we would have more options for Choice Scarf users, like Keldeo, Kartana, and whatnot, as well as more Pokémon with strong priority moves, such as Mega Pinsir. As of right now, many of the viable Choice Scarf users, most notably Landorus-T, get destroyed by a Choice Specs-boosted Water Shuriken. Ash-Greninja does resist common priority moves, too, namely Sucker Punch, Bullet Punch, and Aqua Jet. I would also like to add something about the Mach Punch myth, that is, the assumption that Ash-Greninja will merrily let itself die to Mach Punch. If the priority users that are able to KO it take some chip, they run the risk of dying to a Choice Specs-boosted Water Shuriken. If you happen to let Battle Bond Greninja get a kill, you are potentially looking at something as absurd as this in rain: 252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Water Shuriken (20 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Conkeldurr in Rain: 354-423 (100.8 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO. That is a guaranteed OHKO on Conkeldurr with a neutral priority move. Finally, the Pokémon that would be able to offensively check Battle Bond Greninja by switching into it and threatening to KO it are always scarce, but this is further exacerbated in PRO, since there are still a few missing pieces (e.g., Magearna, Keldeo, Tapu Bulu, Primarina…). Running a specially defensive Breloom that can get obliterated on the switch by a rain-boosted, Choice Specs-boosted Hydro Pump is not acceptable. The same goes for Assault Vest Azumarill, Black Sludge Toxicroak, Roost Hydreigon, specially defensive Kommo-o, any bulky Mega Gyarados, etc. This hurts the offensive efficiency of these Pokémon and does not even help them against unusual coverage moves or Protean Greninja. Chansey offense is also not the answer, because offensive teams optimally need to keep up momentum and pressure. Overall, even in an ideal setup, we would need as many offensive countermeasures as possible. We simply do not have sufficient offensive counterplay to Ash-Greninja, that is, a satisfactory amount of naturally faster Pokémon, Choice Scarf users, Priority users, and offensive Pokémon able to switch into it at least once. 2. Ash-Greninja can easily take advantage of its defensive switch-ins or just wear them down over time. Some of Ash-Greninja’s defensive checks cannot survive if Dark Pulse flinches them once (e.g., Gastrodon, Mantine…), while those with no reliable recovery cannot outheal the damage (e.g., Leech Seed Protect Ferrothorn) or heal up forever (e.g., Synthesis Mega Venusaur). Prior to activating Battle Bond, Greninja sometimes only needs minimal chip or support (in the form of Stealth Rock and Spikes) to achieve 2HKOs on would-be defensive checks. In fact, Greninja can set up hazards on the defensive switch-ins that it forces, due to them being Spikes bait most of the time. Many of Ash-Greninja’s most reliable defensive checks are forced to recover whenever they switch into one of its attacks, to ensure that they can check it throughout the match, thus being forced into a passive loophole that can easily be taken advantage of. In the end, Ash-Greninja can still make progress against these defensive countermeasures, either by setting up Spikes and wearing down the opposition or by softening up said Pokémon and allowing one of its teammates to take advantage of them. We still lack some key defensive checks that are able to reset Ash-Greninja’s progress (e.g., Tapu Fini can semi-reliably switch into Ash-Greninja and use Defog to remove Spikes). Furthermore, running a passive Pokémon like Chansey on offensive builds – or builds that suffer from momentum loss – is something that Ash-Greninja and its teammates always appreciate and effectively capitalize on. Aside from its standard STAB moves, Ash-Greninja can run viable coverage options. For example, pre-Battle Bond Ice Beam has a chance to 2HKO Assault Vest Tangrowth. The same applies to Amoonguss unless it carries an Assault Vest. Hazards turn these rolls into guaranteed KOs. Overall, while we do have some defensive countermeasures to Ash-Greninja, they are not satisfactory enough, because they do not prevent it from making steady progress throughout the match. 3. As a result, Ash-Greninja can slowly but steadily make consistent progress throughout the match, either until it is able to activate Battle Bond and sweep on its own or until it has sufficiently softened up the opposing team for one of its teammates. It is also hard to undo Ash-Greninja’s progress in PRO due to the nature of the (limited) aforementioned offensive and defensive counterplay. The combination of Ash-Greninja’s speed, its access to Water Shuriken, and its sheer power makes it an extremely punishing Pokémon if it ever manages to activate Battle Bond. In fact, if Ash-Greninja gets ahead, it makes comebacks exceedingly difficult for many teams. It is both good at gaining an advantage and keeping it or furthering it, due to the nature of its toolkit and the progress-making advantages that naturally come with it. 4. Ash-Greninja promotes passive (counter)play. It is true that the best way to handle Ash-Greninja is preventing it from activating Battle Bond in the first place. However, this goes both ways, as it heavily pressures the opponent into never allowing it to get a kill. This effectively means that its checks – some of which lack reliable recovery – are under extreme pressure to stay alive. The opponent can also be forced to keep an otherwise useless Pokémon alive even if it is at low HP, just for the sake of preventing Ash-Greninja from activating its Battle Bond, thus allowing it to dent the whole team instead. Given the lack of offensive countermeasures in PRO, Ash-Greninja can effectively force passivity due to the constant threat of a Battle Bond transformation and that of a subsequent sweep. This shows both throughout a match and in the teambuilder, where its strain, in conjunction with the limited counterplay, can force you to run Chansey, Protect Ferrothorn, and even some otherwise unenviable – not necessarily unviable – Pokémon, such as Mantine, or some unviable Pokémon, like Poliwrath. In a way, the mere presence of Ash-Greninja dictates a specific risk/reward scenario that forces the opponent to think twice about making risky plays. As a result, Ash-Greninja becomes really good at forcing passive patterns that can be capitalized on or taken advantage of with low-risk double switches. For example, you can gauge your opponent’s reaction once or twice to accustom them to a specific behavior before unexpectedly breaking the pattern (e.g., using Dark Pulse on the Chansey switch-in, switching out, using Dark Pulse on another Chansey switch-in, switching out again, then switching to something that can beat Chansey or take advantage of it instead of using Dark Pulse a third time). This is, of course, not exclusive to Ash-Greninja; however, it is further enhanced by the favorable risk/reward situation that it creates, the limited counterplay currently available in PRO, the necessity to run more than 1 answer for it, and the fact that it requires little to no team support to break through its so-called checks. 5. After activating Battle Bond, Ash-Greninja gets access to one of the most powerful priority moves in the game in Water Shuriken. Being only resisted by 3 types in Water, Grass, and Dragon (which are all hit by Dark Pulse), Water Shuriken is a devastating priority move, further boosted by Ash-Greninja’s incredible 153 base Special Attack. It is even more powerful in rain (cf. the earlier calculation against Conkeldurr at full HP) but does not need it to deal an obscene amount of damage to neutral targets. No one wants to read a wall of calculations, so let me just put things into perspective to give you a good representation of how powerful Ash-Greninja’s Choice Specs-boosted Water Shuriken is. After Stealth Rock, Ash-Greninja has a chance to OHKO Bisharp (252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Water Shuriken (20 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Bisharp: 225-264 (83 - 97.4%) -- approx. 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock) and Gengar (252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Water Shuriken (20 BP) (3 hits) vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Gengar: 210-252 (80.1 - 96.1%) -- approx. 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock) with a neutral priority Water move outside of rain. Offensive teams are most pressured into making sure that they are always out of range of a Water Shuriken sweep, because they have the hardest time preventing Greninja from activating Battle Bond. Ash-Greninja can use its strong priority move to either revenge kill somewhat healthy Pokémon with relative ease or clean up late game, as if having 399 speed in conjunction with those offensive stats in PRO’s current meta was not already enough! 6. Ash-Greninja forms unhealthy cores with other Pokémon and enables them by softening up their common switch-ins. These include (but are not limited to) Pokémon that appreciate hazards (e.g., Aegislash), Pokémon that can deter their removal (e.g., Defiant users like Bisharp and Thundurus), Pokémon that can beat Ash-Greninja’s usual checks (e.g., Mega Gallade, Breloom…), Pokémon that share checks with it and can overwhelm them with its help (e.g., Heatran, Gengar, Tornadus-T…), and even Pokémon that can bait in Ash-Greninja’s checks and cripple them (e.g., Knock Off Thundurus, Solar Beam Heatran…). 7. Ash-Greninja has access to Spikes, a move with limited distribution, which can immensely help it (and its teammates) in achieving important KOs. Spikes also allow Ash-Greninja to capitalize on the many switches that it forces to punish passive plays. In general, setting up even 1 layer of Spikes can go a long way. 8. The presence of Ash-Greninja makes Protean Greninja even better. Protean Greninja is actually able to beat many of the Pokémon commonly run to check Ash-Greninja. For example, it can surprise Ferrothorn with HP Fire, Gastrodon with HP Grass or Grass Knot, Mega Venusaur and Amoonguss with Extrasensory, Assault Vest Azumarill and Assault Vest Tangrowth with Gunk Shot, etc. More concretely, if you are running something like specially defensive Ferrothorn to better your match-up against Ash-Greninja, you are suboptimally equipped to handle Low Kick Protean Greninja. If you overprepare for Ash-Greninja, you leave yourself more vulnerable to Protean Greninja. 9. Ash-Greninja does not have to exclusively run a single set to be as efficient as possible in PRO’s metagame. Even in Gen 7 OU, some people used Waterium Z as a one-time nuke to a would-be Ash-Greninja check like Magearna, while also retaining the ability to switch moves. The Choice Specs set is the best because Ash-Greninja does not really need anything other than 2 STAB moves, a priority move, and either Spikes or extra coverage (e.g., Ice Beam), depending on the rest of the team. No matter what, the Choice Specs set is always effective at what it does, but expecting the same moves every single time can occasionally be a costly mistake. However, in PRO, we do not have the luxury to scout for uncommon or unusual options anyway. 10. Unlike what many people claim, Greninja is not extremely weak before activating Battle Bond. With Stealth Rock and just 1 layer on Spikes, it has a chance to 2HKO Blissey in rain: 252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey in Rain: 264-312 (36.9 - 43.6%) -- 41% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock, 1 layer of Spikes, and Leftovers recovery. Granted, Blissey will almost always be inferior to Chansey, at least until Heavy-Duty Boots become a thing (if they ever do). To put things into perspective, pre-Battle Bond Greninja has 103 base Special Attack and Kingdra has 95 base Special Attack. Both Pokémon typically run Choice Specs. 11. While Ash-Greninja is, by no means, a bulky Pokémon, we cannot pretend that it is frail to the point of dying to any attack in existence. Most of the time, you will need to attack it twice to kill it. It can survive +2 Sucker Punch from Adamant Life Orb Bisharp (+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Greninja: 218-257 (76.4 - 90.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), Extreme Speed from Choice Band Dragonite (252+ Atk Choice Band Dragonite Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Greninja: 203-239 (71.2 - 83.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), +6 Aqua Jet from Belly Drum Azumarill (+6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Greninja: 219-258 (76.8 - 90.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), U-turn from Choice Scarf Landorus-T (252 Atk Landorus-Therian U-turn vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Greninja: 228-270 (80 - 94.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), Hydro Pump from Choice Specs Kingdra in the rain (252+ SpA Choice Specs Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Greninja in Rain: 237-279 (83.1 - 97.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO), and the list goes on. 12. Ash-Greninja is overcentralizing to an unhealthy extent. It forces you to run a very limited pool of Pokémon that are able to check it. This point will prove truer if Ash-Greninja ends up not being banned, thus inevitably causing an unhealthy amount of overcentralization around Pokémon that it does not even necessarily lose to (cf. points 1 and 2). 13. The existence of Ash-Greninja hurts the viability of multiple playstyles. This is another point that would prove truer in the long term. Ash-Greninja, similarly to Protean Greninja, dismantles offensive builds. Over time, the metagame was able to (healthily or unhealthily) adapt to the latter; however, it is currently unable to deal with the former. Ash-Greninja is weak to fewer priority moves than Protean Greninja, since its typing always remains the same. Unlike its Protean counterpart, Ash-Greninja has 399 speed, which allows it to outpace Weavile. Moreover, as a Dark type, it is less prone to Pursuit trap. Unlike Protean Greninja, Ash-Greninja can make good use of Water Shuriken to circumvent some of its would-be revenge killers with minimal chip. It also forces offensive teams to modify their builds accordingly. For example, after a Dragon Dance, Dragonite can only outspeed Ash-Greninja with a Jolly nature while being unable to OHKO it with +1 Extreme Speed with an Adamant nature. A Jolly nature effectively entails a noticeable drop in power, which offensive teams require a lot. While Ash-Greninja can fit on balanced and bulky offensive builds, those still have a hard time dealing with it in general due to its ability to wear down or muscle through standard defensive backbones, while not caring about their offensive cores as much. Stall is able to handle most Ash-Greninja sets by somewhat reliably preventing it from activating Battle Bond thanks to being able to afford the momentum drain that comes from running Pokémon like Chansey and Alomomola, although it must be said that Ash-Greninja can still find a way to put down Spikes and make progress against those kinds of teams. Due to the overwhelming arguments against it, Ash-Greninja should be banned from PvP. This one is not even a close call. In my opinion, Battle Bond Greninja should be banned until we have almost everything else from Gen 7 OU. I truly believe that the sole addition of Toxapex would not be enough to make it less problematic, as this would result in heavy overcentralization. Being forced to pick one or two Pokémon from a very limited pool of options is unhealthy. We need as much offensive and defensive counterplay to Ash-Greninja as possible.

  38. Hey everyone ^^, I created a Battle UI and im very proud x) since im kinda new to Photoshop and i spend a lot of time creating this :D. I created a completely new Design but tried to stay as true to the classic design as possible . Sooo i hope U will like it ^^ First Picture shows the Countdown/Timer for the Round (necessary for pvp) 1. Battle LOG I placed the Battle LOG on the left because i think this is the best way and looks nice. in think the battle log should be able to fade in and out so i created a button for it. (Random Text xD as Example) 10/11. Scroll Buttons for Battle Log 2. The Weather should be on the top (seems logic for me xD) A little Icon that shows how many turns left. 3. Field Status My Idea is it to show field status only if u want to. So I created a Button for each Side where u can fade in all Informations. (2nd Picture) 4. Title, Names etc. Here is written what is happening in the moment. For Example: If u Select the Pokemon Button it says"choose" or if u choose Fight in 3v3 Battle it tell u the name of the chosen Pokemon. 5. Buttons Here we have the classic Buttons wich are colored if u choose/hover them. (redesigned :D ) 6.Cancel Button I placed it like this because i think it should be near to the other buttons. 7. Mega & Z- Buttons These Buttons should be gray until they are usable, then they should be highlighted. 8. Boosts and Effects should stay classic at the HP bar of the Pokemon. Big thx to Kad1r and Chroxler (I want to mention Obviously on the Top right Box u have the option to select Pokemon, Attack, Items etc...) =)

  40. Change of plans, if so many people prefer Showdown's timer then how about this ... 180 seconds overall timer with +15 seconds every round. Only for PvP ranked battles. Opinions?

  41. - Be sure to be Hoenn Champion before starting this quest. - Go Route 114 in Hoenn, find Fossil Maniac Charles in his house and talk to him about the permit. - Now you will have to collect six different fragments spread around all Excavation Sites (excluding Wondrous Site, Briny Site and Draconic Site). - You do not have to enter the sites. Use a Pokemon with Rock Smash and destroy all breakable rocks around the Excavation Sites. Please note that this step is not needed for every player. - Once you have all six fragments collected, come back to Route 114 and talk with Fossil Maniac Charles. He will ask you to pay 100.000 Pokedollar in order to buy the permit. - You are now owner of the Archaeologist Permit and can start visiting the different sites. Feral Site - Fiery Path - East of Lavaridge Town Historical Site - Northern Route 111 Desert - East of Lavaridge Town Haunted Site - Rusturf Tunnel - Near Verdanturf Town Mineral Site - Route 115 - North of Rustboro City Glacial Site - Route 103 - North of Oldale Town Natural Site - Route 119A - South of Fortree City Wondrous Site - Route 114 - West of Fallarbor Town - 3000+ discoveries as requirement Briny Site - Route 124 - West of Mossdeep Town - 6000+ discoveries as requirement Draconic Site - Route 113 - East of Fallabor - 10000+ discoveries as requirement There are different tiers of expertise in archaeology. The tier depends on the discoveries you have made. You get one "Discovery Point" by smashing the rocks inside each site. With every tier you get access to more Pokemon and items. You can check your tier on your Trainer Card. The rocks inside of every Excavation Site respawn every 20h after being broken. You have also a low chance of getting nothing when breaking a rock. - Excavation Ranks: Explorer (1-500 discoveries) Scrounger (501-999 discoveries) Plunderer (1000-1999 discoveries) Relic Hunter (2000-3999 discoveries) Archaeologist (4000-5900 discoveries) Paleontologist (6000-7999 discoveries) Tomb Raider (8000+ discoveries) If you encounter a spawn you're not experienced enough to get, the Pokemon will flee or the item gets destroyed. How many Discoveries you need for each Pokémon rarity is mentioned below. You will however gain one or more "Bonus Discovery Point" each time you'll encounter a Pokemon who fled or if the item gets destroyed. The rock will tell you how many extra points you gained. - Used Rarity Tiers in the guide: Common 0+ Discoveries Uncommon 1000+ Discoveries Rare 2000+ Discoveries Super Rare 4000+ Discoveries Excavation Sites are shiny locked, which means that you are not able to encounter Shiny or Themed Pokemon in the sites. With the exception of Shiny Rocks, which may contain shiny Pokémon. As for all scripted spawns for wild Pokemon, an active BMS won't influence the chance of a hidden ability in the excavation sites. In every site you are able to find "Artifact Pieces", which can be traded in the Historical Site for items and fossils by talking to Artifact Maniac Hastor. Fossils: Vitamins (10 per 70 Artifact Pieces): Consumables: Battle Items: TM Moves: Gems: Evolution Items: Damage-reducing Berries: Mega Stones: All Sites Feral Site Historical Site Haunted Site Mineral Site Glacial Site Natural Site Wondrous Site Briny Site Draconic Site Contribution SyaoranLi, thank you for giving me a lot of useful information to complete this guide. 45. I have decided to compile and share many teams using Megas from Waves 1 & 2. While I made some of them, I also found others. As such, let me preface this thread by acknowledging the work and dedication of the players who created many of these teams. None of this would be possible without you. Please feel free to use and/or adjust any of them at will. If I ever have enough time, I will attempt to add a brief, explanatory description below each team, but I make no promises! These teams have now been released into the public domain. If you also wish to share some teams, you may do so here. After all, the main goal of this thread is to archive teams that can help players and make PvP more accessible. Please keep in mind that some Megas are currently missing. I will do my best to continually update this list by adding and removing teams as the meta continues to develop or changes altogether. 47. I have been extremely vocal about the failure of the implementation and treatment of the "Official" PvP Council for PRO. First, we must understand what PRO created the PvP Council for. Its purpose, as defined by PRO is: Source: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/ Speaking of that post, please review my initial view on this announcement: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/159114-introducing-the-pvp-council/?do=findComment&comment=904730 The PvP Council discord started off really well. Council members were discussing every other day or so. Daily activity wasn't necessarily needed, just enough to keep things active. However, it quickly feel apart due to lack of leadership and support from PRO Staff. I'll go through some examples on how leaderships inaction and slow reactions began to lose the councils trust in the system: Example 1: Council members need to wait 2+ weeks for official responses to requests. Example 2: Council members begin to leave the council due to lack of confidence in the system. Example 3: Walross confirms wave three mega bans, etc, will "most likely" be discussed by the PvP PRO Council. Example 4: More council members begin to express their lack of confidence in the system created. I encourage you to join the "PRO PvP Council" Discord and review #council-chat for yourself. Note the timestamps of #announcements made by Walross. Wave three mega bans discussions where never began in #council-chat by Walross as stated in Example 3 above, leading to Example 4. Also note absolutely NOTHING posted in #council-announcements or #suspect-results-votes as of the posting of this thread. OKAY, SO HOW CAN WE FIX IT? Step 1: Move everything in "Pokemon Revolution Online" Official Discord. Step 2: Re-establish the council to 7 total members. Then have these 7 members vote on appointing a council lead. Step 3: All voting will be viewable by the public in #council-voting. Each member has 1 vote worth 1 point, while a member of PRO Staff has 1 vote worth 3 points. Ties are decided by Council Lead. Step 4: Respect from PRO Staff.
