Is this a joke?

Instead of Arguing about banning a core pvp entity of pp stalling, you guys needs to consider implementing a Forfeit function for every match, if a user wants to forfeit thinking that he doesnt have chance to win a match, he can choose the option to quit. No one deserves to be banned for pp stalling, and think for 1 min about why gamefreak made abilities (ex : Pressure). Let me give you guys an Example : Imagine if opponent has only Chansey left in team and you are stuck with 2-3 spatkers or Bulky special tanks(tangrowth or so) , there is a good amount chance that Chansey player will win the game with access to toxic and softboil , you cant ban a player because he is spamming toxic , softboil just to kill your team. Think about it :) If you guys really care about Pvp scenario and community , Think about making a Forfeit option rest is up to you guys Farewell :)

I would like to suggest a rule to avoid people from stalling turns on purpose. For example, if I have one pokemon left while my opponent has 6, why would he calm mind his Clefable 6 times to kill my Gastrodon who could have died in 1 turn with a moonblast? Btw, my Gastrodon had been tricket with Choice Specs and it was stuck with earthquake. Some people are wasting 12 turns to calm mind and softboil to kill ONE pokemon just to stall you out when they could have won the battle in 1 turn. This is boring, annoying and frustrating. I closed the game after a match like that because that made me feel like PRO is not fun anymore. Unfortunately I wasn't recording the battle but from now on I will record everything. I would like to send evidences of people doing that if this rule is approved. It wasn't the first time and I'm tired of matches like that. I hope you staff understand how frustrating it is for players who just wanna end the game and move on to the next one. I was going to play more after that battle, but what he did exhausted me and I just closed the game. Im sure you know some people who stopped playing the game because of similar situations.

Consider the implications such rule would have. 'time stalling' can come from several other factors which have nothing to do with toxicity. To name a few: slow internet, screen-sharing with friends, using calculators to check the exact amount of damage... and the most important one > ignorance. How many people in this game have absolutely no idea what they are doing? They barely know the basic types mechanics, figures what a random poke with a random set does to another. It could be that that player wanted a sure win, hence the calm mind spam. Is it annoying for you? Of course, but it is part of the game. Don't like it? Don't play it. Same goes for PP stalling. The Struggle mechanic is in place to enforce a hard-cap in regards of time, so there you go they can not stall you forever. I have won 3 battles thanks to Struggle, when 'on paper' and had the other guy used a different move-set i i would have surely lost. Took me a while to set up, was extremely frustrating for him and took a long time, but i had used PP-ups on even rapin-spin and his 2 pokes struggled before my single one. I won the battle fair and square utilizing mechanics. Now, if a rule such as yours is implemented, it would leave everything up to interpretation. It would make everything black or white, and at the end of the day innocent people might get punished for not having an as deep game knowledge as yours or factors outside their control You said you had lost the game either way, i presume 12 to 15 turns can be very close to 10 minutes. So why not just dc, grab a cup of tea and come back? TLDR: happens, it is normal. Securing a win or styling should not be punishable. You don't like it? Don't PvP. Suggestion: why don't you play Hyper-offensive teams and have super short games like i oftentimes do?

agreed. they do it just to tilt you you just gotta be the bigger man and soldier through it if they're winning and they feel like gettin in your head a little bit thats all part of competitive play while annoying and frustrating its not worth making a new rule over. thats my 2 cents on the matter anyways

Things are discussed and decided by the moderation staff not by you, you are just suggesting a rule change. Every change rule isn't a one side decision, just letting you know how the things are handled here.

This rule doesn't make much sense in my oppinion, yeah it's annoying when people make the match last longer then needed, but it's part of the game, it's not like they're time stalling, just take the lossif it's the case and do better next time, but don't see why people should be banned or punished over something like this. I understand the frustration, I really do, but don't think it's a case to make a rule over it, only suggestion I can make really is PM said person and ask to just finish or something, but banning or punishing him/her seems a bit too much

but still it pokemon for you, you could go anywhere including pokemon showdown and you would find players like that, but it up to the staffs to implicate that as a rule, stalling is still part of pvp and that we as pvp players gotta deal with

However, since this can lead to enormous bugs and problems, we decided to let this be tested thoroughly first. We want to make a small event out of it. Firstly, we imported all users without progress on PRO's test server. This means that all users can enter the test server and start from scratch without Pokemon, items and so on. Secondly, we ask all users who are interested to play the story on test server. Of course, you will also be rewarded. You will be rewarded after the 4th, 8th and 16th badge! Keep in mind that all caught Pokemon and collected items on test server will be deleted and the progress will have no effect on your original account on silver and gold. The rewards, on the other hand, will be given out on your gold or silver accounts. The event will start now and end on Sunday, March 24th 23:59 PM GMT+1. All rewards will be distributed after the event ended, this might take up to 24 hours.
