Hey everybody, the title may be a bit misleading. I played Red/Blue/Yellow religiously in primary school and had a binder full of cards, including my prized holographic Charizard. After that I stopped playing completely for almost 20 years now. I didn't even get into Pokemon Go somehow. But seeing the trailer for Sword & Shield got me really hyped for Pokemon again, so here I am! I've been playing on Gold for a few days now, still so much to learn because I'm not familiar with EV/IV/Nature but I think I'm getting the hang of it, the Wiki is an immense help. I'm not really interested in PvP so much as just going thru the world/story and trying to fill out the PokeDex as much as possible. I'd be open to joining a PvE guild if anyone is recruiting new members, I'm UTC+9 but I can't really predict when I'll have time to play based on work and family obligations. For Milotic competitive, a Pokemon with the move : Worry Seed is needed, then you can lower it's stats and setup and sweep.

Hey there Filda. Congrats on reaching the endgame. For bosses i've used a team consisting of 2 prankster whimsicotts with memento, a uxie with t-wave, stealh rocks, and memento, and any pokemon that learn spikes. Then I switch into clefable and setup cosmic power and calm minds, then sweep. Only bosses i've had problem with this team are Misty and Pumpkin King, in which they lead with a competetive milotic and defiant bisharp. Easy way out of this is to lead with ferrothorn first and leech seed stall them out. Another good alternative boss pokemon is snorlax. He gets both amnesia (sharply boosts sp def), and curse(boosts atk, def, but lowers speed). Just be careful of crits when using these. Generally walls with setup moves are good options for bosses. -Slowbro with calm mind and slack off -Chansey with eviolite -Ferrothorn -Klefki screens support Hopefully you can make a boss team that you can use consistently. For boss boss u can just use seaking modest ability lightning rod(h.a) n yeah ez sweep surely

Hi, @Mirkotidus91. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Note that this game is still continuously updating and crashes can always occur at any time. If we are to bring the server to maintenance, you'll receive a warning, but in cases of random crashes unfortunately it's impossible for us to warn the players since we can't predict them. I understand that you are sad and frustrated for the situation, but we won't be able to refund you in any way for the cause of server crashes, because it would be unfair for all other players that experienced similar problems. Moreover, the system now checks when the server crashed and reset the player's boss cooldown when they lose due to main server problems, so it would have been your internet problem that caused your game to crash :( I'm once again very sorry for what happened to you on the bosses. Before posting a Support Thread, please make sure to read THIS THREAD, as it contains common problems and issues and their solutions. If you are trying to connect to the game, have checked that the servers are online, and still receive the Cannot Connect to Server message, can you please completely reset your router and connection, and let me know how it goes? Also, based on your issue, you can read this quote from the thread and find the solution for you. A possibility is that your Internet Connection may not be strong or stable enough to be connected to the servers. Do you happen to disconnect or are unable to connect to other online games or web pages beside PRO? I hope one of the solutions work for you. If these do not work, or one of them does, please do not hesitate to reply back. As such, I'll be waiting for your reply. ~Straubs
