Considering you are consistent in doing excavations, 1800 (number of hours)/22 (excavation cooldown time) = 81.8 days. 81.8 days x 2500 (cost) x 9 (number of sites) = 1,840,500 (worst case scenario, not including requirements for certain sites and such) Basically your Aerodactyl you sold already covered half the cost of the WORST CASE SCENARIO. (Additonally, 25+ Aerodactyls do not go for 1M only, you can blame your business skills for that.) Not only that, you also have the chance of getting more stuff from other stones(?) 20-25 (we will use 20 here) per site x 9 (number of sites) x 81.8 (number of days) = 14724 stones. Minus the Aerodactyl stone that would be 14723, 14723 chances for epics/items you can sell for profit over the amount you spent to enter the excavations is. By the logic of you are not getting anything good so it is not worth, then rerolls should not be bought because they are not worth too. Or spending time on hunting should not be the case because you do not get anything good most of the time so it is not worth. All this is only saying how profitable excavations is. Gio's suggestion of further INCREASING that profit (with the possibility of losing money, whether it be because of people being lazy or forgetting) is a great suggestion. Money sink, check. Profitable, check. will not ruin the economy of the game, check. +1 here if the message isnt clear to people reading yet.

By that logic, train tickets are a waste of time to code and implement too and inconvenient players because they have to remember to take the subway. Utter nonsense.

Someone clearly doesn't understand the point of the post. Ash Greninja has high stats with no drawback (rip Archeops) and has a Priority move that is strong enough to 2(?)OHKO its counters. Furthermore, Charizard X, Mega Mawile, Mega Lopunny aNd eVeRy tApU are not even close to being as broken as Ash Greninja is. Ash Greninja needs ONE kill to suddenly boast a whopping 399 speed stat which outspeeds the 'entire (viable) metagame" (Yes I read Joro's post, unlike you) and 405 Special attack (and 350 attack for those memers :3) Charizard X requires a Dragon Dance boost which is effectively a turn of not doing anything (which is easy to outplay, let's be honest, it is already seen with Dragonite). Mega Mawile requires Swords dance and is slow, even with Sucker Punch, it is not STAB and is not extremely reliable (Low PP, Requires Opponent to use an attack). Mega Lopunny lacks a slot to put in a much needed priority move, easily loses to rocky helmet and residual chip damage while being walled because of it's mediocre attack stat (FOR A MEGA POKEMON WHOSE MAIN JOB IS TO HIT HARD). I did not. Having a little badge beside your name does not affect the economy of PRO in anyway as a pokemon reward would do. It is an almost insignificant reward but allows the people who won it to feel good about themselves. Of course there will be those that vote for their friends and guildies, but that happens in any voting system.

I agree with you on this. What if the rewards was not anything significant but a cute little badge beside their name as players of the top 3 guilds do?

Not sure if I am the only one but I think a better recognition system for people who make the PRO community a better place is needed. For example, people like GioAlv1 and Shadow2054 who spend most of their time helping people in help chat. Friendly people like Zeldawoot who spend their time in All chat making it a lively place to chat about anything and everything (under chat rules ofc.) What I suggest is a monthly (?) voting system similar to the PRO player awards. Players who make the community a better place get a variety of rewards ranging from pokemon to exclusive stuff like in-game nifty lil badges next to their names. And the annual PRO player awards could be a conclusion of these monthly events! I personally think these players deserve better recognition and would love to see this implemented.
