Did you read what I said? lool I said that guts negates the stat drop from burn...... So that means it works as intended. Same applies for knock off, as the item triggers before the item is knocked off. YOu don't have to be holding the item for it to work as intended. Its the status effect that matters. English is not my language so I didn't completely understand what you said, I just asked again to be sure should be correct yeah, cuz knockoff will remove the item so the extra 50% but guts+brn gives them back Well that's why I think it doesn't works correctly, because I was in that situation twice and in both ocasions the second hit did less damage

Is this combination working well? Asking ingame some people says it does and some people says it does not. I tryed to use my Guts Conkeldurr with a Flame Orb but I have the feeling that I do less damage when te orb burns me.

I want to say a couple of things about it even if i might don't express myself completely well in english because it's necesary. I understand what JollyolNathan says, obviously as a MMO it needs to be time consuming, that's not the problem. Leveling algo consume time as it should, but as lampshadejaz said it's entertaining. Ev training it's just awful, and even if you have to consume time to train, what is normal, it should be fun. This is a game not a job, we should have fun playing it and this is probably the worst part of this game. Don't missunderstand me, I love this game, but this is one of its weaknesses. It's false that in Nintendo's games this is the way you do it. In the last games you can ev train a poke so much faster fighting 5 pokes at the same time and other ways. I think it can get better like lampshadejaz said with a item like macho brace but with a better boost even if we have to pay it, or if MS doubles the EVs for pokemon defeated like it does with experience and money.

I think you don't understand what I'm saying, probably it's my fault, english is not my language. I'm not saying that should not be better pokemons than others in ranked, obviously if you ban some pokemon, other pokemon are gonna be the new best monsters. What I'm saying is that actually there are a lot of pokemon totally useless, and that is because we only have one category of pvp ranked. If we have various categories (or levels or tiers or whatever you want to name it) of pvp ranked, a lot of pokemon that now are useless are gonna be good at their category. This can make the game so much better for many reasons.

I think it would be nice to have different pvp categories, at least two: the actual one and other one with the best pokemon banned. Actually a lot of pokemon are useless in pvp, this would create different metas. I like to catch my favourite pokemon, it would be nice if they can be useful in their category. Other good ideas can be 3vs3 ranked, or even monotype 3vs3 ranked. What do you think about it?
