  1. I've done about 270 Celadon dailies before, and usually at most was able to do 2 in a row. I assumed because of how the cooldown script was coded. But today I was able to do 5 and the cooldown still isn't being triggered. I wish I could provide more info on how to replicate it, but I don't feel like I was doing anything different than usual. Relogging didn't fix the bug. It also seems to be unique to my main Jordan110 account on Gold server. I tried on one of my alts and the quest was behaving normally. EDIT: Waiting a day fixed the problem. The quest is going on cooldown normally now.
  2. Enjoyment: Overall, I enjoyed the event. The main quest was challenging, but not too hard. The spawns in the new Matsuki areas were really nice. I found myself spending a lot more time farming there than the Evergreen areas. A couple more new Xmas forms this year would've been nice, but at least we got a few new pokemon to add to the dex. The 7500 fee to enter the event area seemed a little too much for me. It doesn't really affect late game players as much but for people still going through story that's quite a bit that could otherwise be spent on things like subway, bike, cerulean cave, etc. Quest Difficulty: Some of the battles were a bit tough for newer players, particularly the mountain and forest bosses. Finding the random switches in the forest section was annoying, as it took a lot of trial and error. I wish it was changed to some sort of riddle that could actually be solved. With that being said, I thought the difficulty seemed fair considering you get a legendary at the end of it all. Story/Lore: I don't really follow the lore enough to provide constructive feedback on this. Effort/Reward Ratio: For the main Keldeo quest I thought it was fine. I think the few cosmetic rewards during the quest was a nice addition. That way even players that might not complete the whole thing still get something out of it. The rare candies from battling Elmer boss were also nice, but I was a little disappointed with the final reward after 20 wins. Reroll tickets are useful, but there's already several other ways to get them already. I was kind of hoping for a more unique item/cosmetic like the Halo from the daily boss in last year's Xmas event.
  3. I beat all the underground trainers, but didn't get any reward.
  4. Just got Heracronite. Seems like it just needs 3 wins in a row. I submitted a Larvesta final day and it still worked.
  5. Could it be linked with Suspicious Bot win streak?
  6. Yeah I selected Heracross from the list of 3rd win options. Went for shiny chance, but not sure if that would make any difference.
  7. Just beat Bugsy boss and picked Heracross from 3rd time reward. Still no Megastone.
  8. +1 While I understand wanting to stay true to the original games, I feel like it is acceptable to part ways in some cases. This seems like an unnecessary complication that will just end up clogging storage space with appropriately leveled syncs each time we want to repel trick.
  9. I just caught a Valentine form Nidoran, but was unable to submit it to the Valentine Hunt NPC in Aphrodia. I got an error message each time I tried. I tried relogging and submitting other pokemon too, but got the same message. I attached an image of the error message and the pokemon I tried submitting.
  10. Since the Valentine Hunt began, I did a little delving into the formula for points. The calculation seems to be as follows... IV's (+1 per IV) + Correct Ability (+20) + Rarity (see below) + Valentine/Shiny* (+10) Rarity Tiers +10 ( Nidoran family, Pikachu family, Spearow family ) +20 ( Illumise, Volbeat, Cleffa family ) +30 ( Alomomola, Budew family, Frillish family, Luvdisc, Minun, Plusle, Sawk, Throh ) Correct abilities Nidoran M/F - Hustle Pikachu - Static, Lightning Rod Spearow - Sniper Illumise - Prankster Volbeat - Prankster Alomomola - Regenerator Budew - Natural Cure Cleffa - Magic Guard, Friend Guard Frillish - Water Absorb Luvdisc - Swift Swim Minun - Volt Absorb Plusle - Lightning Rod Sawk - Sturdy Throh - Mold Breaker Didn't feel like this was enough new info to warrant the creation of another thread, but maybe it will be useful to some who were curious. Happy hunting everyone! *Assuming shiny is worth the same as Valentine form. I haven't actually seen one scored yet.
  11. I've been doing the Celadon daily quest for a while now, and there's one thing that's always kind of bugged me. The value of the rewards don't seem to necessarily reflect the difficulty of obtaining the pokemon with the iv requirements. I often find myself choosing nuggets from the tier 3 reward over the tier 4 reward for example. Even worse, is getting lucky enough for the tier 5 reward only to be given fossils as a choice. The inclusion of lackluster higher rewards doesn't really motivate people to actually hunt higher iv pokemon for the quest. Instead I've found it more effective to just catch the first one I find, raking in the guaranteed money from completion and getting closer to 50/100 day benchmarks. I think a redistribution of rewards would make the quest more worthwhile for people who enjoy the hunting aspect of it.
