If you failed the Dark Realm quest once, you are unfortunately not able to get that Halloween Reroll.

If you do the transportation/teleporter quests and purchase transit passes, traveling isnt that expensive. If you are just doing the bug catching contest alone every day, you get enough money to cover the cost of transit passes easily. It serves as a great money sink, which are good for the econemy of the game.

The cooldown of battle tower is always 4 days, regardless if you win or lose, as far as I know. A choice scarfed destiny bond Gengar should be able to deal with the level 120 Gengar. Regarding your last question, no you cannot switch your team. You have to use the same 6 pokemon for the whole battle tower.

Are you sure you are fighting and defeating Alucard with a pokemon which has the move Miracle eye on your party?

You were only able to do that part of the quest for the Cyan Fire Wings when the summer-event was still going as far as I know. So thats not available anymore.

There is no information about that as far as I know.

You have to wait for Horon to respawn in the Dark Valley. He has a 3 day cooldown. You beat him and follow the steps I explained in my last message. Once youre back in the Dark Realm, you have to finish that part of the quest again and once you are back in Alucards castle you can catch Darkrai again.

Nikola boss does not give another chance on catching Darkrai. To catch Darkrai again you have to respawn Alucard in his Castle on the third floor, by defeating the Horon boss in the Dark Valley (north of Necropolis). Make sure to not let any pokemon of you faint while battling Horon. If you didnt get the Rapidash Mount from Horon yet, you will get rewarded with the mount on beating Horon. You have to wait 3 days for Horon to respawn after that. If you beat him again, Alucard will respawn. Defeat Alucard with a pokemon that has the move Miracle Eye on your party and you will find yourself on Dark Realm again.

What was the miss click and on what part of the quest were you exactly?

If the Rapidash spawned for the mount, you have to battle Horon again in 3 days to respawn Alucard, like my first message stated.

Are you sure you beat Horon without letting one of your pokemon faint and the Rapidash didnt spawn for you to get the mount?
