Ingame the auction ends when the timer is up. If you make an auction for 20 minutes, thats all the time it will last. The 15 minute rule applies to the forums because everyone can see it and we can moderate it, ingame there is no way to moderate Pms in an auction so to prevent a never ending auction which will be reported 9/10 times the timer can not be extended ingame.
