Do you realise it was actually reported just days ago? Not months ago? Had it been raised in the past it would have been banned from that point. Also, as i really dont want to be repeating myself 20 times for you to understand, please can you look at my second response to NamelessHero, the reasoning is there, please try and see from our view as to why we had to ban it and my acknowledgement of the awkward timing. If this topic continues on this one way path of arguing and slating the decision im just going to lock the topic.

Yeah, one move being banned = meta is destroyed. Simply, Fatman, if you have an issue with it just dont play PvP. Thats all i can say. We are not going to keep an unfair bugged move that gives a big advantage compared to what it should actually give (due to said bug) in Ranked PvP just because you have a Tang or Ferro in your team. Its not going to happen. I understand Leech Seeds removal hinders some pokemon's capability, however as Sitzei has stated; Now, watch your language and behavior on forums, if you have such an issue with this change make a complaint and take your distress out there, but on the public forum you will post with respect for others and the rules = not everyone wants to see an F followed with several stars for effect.

I already did in Blue and Yellow like half an hour ago, and Mapplle did red around the same time, these server messages may be intermittent throughout the day (but we cant spam them, for obvious reasons - we updated forums and posted ingame twice per server currently) :)

We cant exactly help when bugs are raised / noted. Its inappropriate timing as i already said, which i empathize with the playing community, but there is no option whatsoever to prolong the banning of this move to facilitate the PvP tournament given the two reasons why it is banned, as this bug will be giving people in the tourny a big advantage they shouldnt actually have, and then people would be complaining that they lost due to a bugged move, which really isnt fair either, so we have taken the only action we can at this present moment, which is the temporary banning of the move. I hope you all can understand the reasoning (which i pretty much just stated)

Conkledurr is pretty useless without Drain Punch, but Drain Punch is a bugged move and as such will not be able to be used in Ranked PvP. Leech Seed has 100% accuracy when it should only have 90% and also takes a full 12% boost even when the opposing Pokemon is on 1HP, therefore this is bugged, and as such will not be allowed to be used whilst it remains a broken move. Do you realise that we cant proactively do all of our day to day duties, plan for the future in the form of events and future development, keep all of the servers clean from people breaking the rules AND try and test every single PvP move with a fine comb and ensure every little bit is working 100% correct, when they are coded they are coded under the impression they are working correctly, if it is found to not be, the move will be made ineligible in Ranked as it can influence the outcome of a Ranked battle due to the bug alone. We depend on players reporting these bugs to us, players proactively PvPing day to day that experience such, and it is only recently it has been raised (by Tr3y in Bug Centre) the issues with Leech Seed, which have now resulted in us being able to look into and do testing on that specific move to prove it is (or isnt) working 100%. I understand the timing is a little inappropriate, given the upcoming tournament, but most seeders are still usable in Ranked PvP and very viable options. This isnt a team-killer.

Just a question, I know this isn't the thread for it, but will this be instated in the legendary tournament too? To be honest, i presume this will also be including the tourny, however as Daeon is soley running the tournament and has already banned the new items (life orb, weakness policy etc) due to a last second team change being necessary if they were included, there is a small possibility this may not be implemented in the tourny too. I dont want to give false hope and suggest you will be allowed to Leech Seed in tourny however for 100% clarification please post on the official tournament thread and await an answer from Daeon (i'll also poke her on skype for an answer too), however for now presume it is not allowed in the tournament until advised otherwise.

The problem with the Tepig issue was it was never supposed to give a Tepig at that point, and every Tepig was shiny, not a normal sprite. Meaning none should have been distributed to players, hence they were all removed. Snivy, as Somes pointed out, is intentionally added to the boss, and is meant to be ingame at this point obtained by defeating this boss. The Snivy obtained by players already will not be removed.

Wild pokemon do not swap so it will remain until the end of the battle, and if it remains the other ability whilst still in your party, it is still its natural ability however just a visual bug showing the other *incorrect* ability. Healing at a pokecenter or relogging will fix this and the ability will show as normal. As the original query was answered im gonna lock this now.

The effects of Role Play wear off when switched out, so think of it when you switch out Kadabra's ability is no longer Regenerator and such will not recover health upon switching back in.

Default channels are restricted to Local - All - Trade - Battle - Help - Other, most users are in a guild so also have a Guild channel, adding more channels for price checking and guild recruitment is not efficient and if added as a default channel, you will have several channels clogging the bottom of your screen, 5 channels is enough in that regard. Guild recruitment is primarily done on forums and price checks we ask to go in all chat (as the most fitting), rates to battle chat (as the most fitting) which also saves trade chat from being spammed any more than it has to. The issue you highlighted with price checks usually being overlooked in All chat is also the reason the price check subforum opened up on the trade forums, too. Unfortunately although your suggestion makes sense, the channels will likely not be utilized by people who would GIVE the price checks leaving constant unanswered spam of price checking regardless of the independent channel and the guild recruitment chat is essentially forums. It just isnt relevant to add more core channels for these functionalities.

Talonflame is not broken therefore it has no viable reason to be banned, PRO also does not operate on Gen7 mechanics, it is Gen6 (and some Pokemon still Gen5). Talonflame will not be banned in Ranked PvP.

This topic is in relation to the NPC changes, please do not spark an off topic discussion about bots. That has been covered several times in several different topics it does not need to spread to here aswell.
