Hello @Godsworthy. My apologies for the inconvenience. The Repel items will make it so that wild Pokémon that are below the level of your lead Pokémon won’t appear. Meaning your first slot has to be equal to or higher level than the wild Pokémon in the area you use Repels at. Fainted or not does not matter when it comes to repel, just being in the first slot matters. Is Mudkip the Pokémon in your first slot?

Hello @Q25. My apologies for the inconvenience. I’ve re-added the information needed for the Repel page to work properly for the Land spawns. Tomorrow I will do the Surf spawns. You should be able to see all the Pokémon with repel tricks in about a day or two. If there is any missing repel trick, please let me know and I’ll fix it immediately. Feel free to direct any Wiki-related issues directly to me.

Hello @Belschemel. My apologies for the late response. Both instances you described are a result of good luck and bad luck in their extremes. Two Rare spawns within 30 minutes is quite good luck and none for several hours is quite bad luck. Though I highly doubt you hunted for 11 hours straight with no breaks in-between, I will assume you hunted for a long time. With that said, there is no bug, it is just how luck works sometimes.
