  1. Even if they cost 1 PvP coin it's still horrible and demotivating game design and not viable. I can't stress this enough. If you plan on actually playing a lot, limited boss encounters is not a solution either (and this PvE aspect shouldn't be a limiting factor on PvP anyway!). It's ruining strategies, punishing players and removing income for stuff like Kyogre mount. Why are you even making those mounts if you want players to use their only PvP coins on Focus Sash? Why do we always have to take a step back when we take one forward... And all of this is without considering the fact that you get no coins on disconnects. And don't try to tell me it happens rarely. I have experience. 45 min timer or not.
  2. Looks like the majority only cares about rare candies. Assuming 3 coins each Focus Sash: Having to win 3 PvP matches in order to buy a single consumable for a single pokemon while removing source of pvp coins for anything else is not cheap. People make teams and suddenly they can't play their team because of this. And the few matches they can, it will be with 1 pokemon and without a use of the coins for anything else, demotivating players to spend their efforts on the mounts the staff uses their time to release. It's, in my opinion, horrible design and punishes players. Maybe you should try to make a team with focus sashes and experience it. You might change your mind on what exactly is cheap.
  3. I don't even I might just quit the game at this point lol
  4. Yea, and abilities like Intimidate going off before pokemon faints
  5. I agree. Fixing stuff like hyper beam in sleep talk is pretty useless and a waste of time compared to other game breaking bugs and fixing abilities/make TMs. Someone already described the visual bug better than me. However, the gamebreaking part of the stealth rock bug (and spikes i suppose) is the fact that when someone switches in a low hp pokemon dying to hazards, the other player won't have his turn play out. This makes it so that if i see a Gyarados and i have to switch to a pokemon to check Gyarados, but then Gyarados will use Dragon Dance and my pokemon will then be slower and can't check Gyarados anymore, i can instead, if he has entry hazards on my field, switch to a low hp pokemon and let it die to hazards. My opponent won't be able to get his move (e.g. Dragon Dance) which makes me able to now check Gyarados with Gengar, for example, since he's not faster than me. There are some lesser bugs as well i believe, in abilities like Intimidate activating before the pokemon dies to entry hazards as well (which i believe is not intended? Didn't check on showdown).

    Shadow Tag

I completely agree OP and as you can see you are indeed not alone with this opinion. Many try to say that you can just bring a Weavile or Bisharp and kill it when Gothitelle can simply switch out. Or maybe just kill the supposed "counter pokemon" as well ending up with low hp, (if you happen to have an epic Gothitelle with the crazy IVs) after already taking out another pokemon. Indeed. Comparing metagames is in fact not impossible. There are various factors when comparing metagames but some are just obvious. The lack of offensive items (and Shed Shell as you mentioned) only makes Gothitelle much stronger and able to setup on much more pokemon that it could not have with these items in the game (granted you have a Gothitelle with high IVs+nature, which most don't). Pursuit isn't in the game either to just somewhat be able to punish a Gothitelle with low hp so Gothitelle has free reins. I only see a few Gothitelle users on ladder thankfully (probably because they are incredibly rare, especially ones with good IVs) and i haven't even seen those users play it to what this monster truly can accomplish. You can do some really cruel things with this pokemon (that i don't want to reveal since i like to play PvP). I personally refuse to use this broken pokemon. So go apply for staff and maybe you can get an Epic Gothitelle staff pokemon reward and use it to make people cry on ladder. Remember to get it in Shiny version just to make sure they uninstall the game :D
  7. It says the server is currently locked? It would have been nice to know that you can't login if you disconnected during event..
  8. So, in a battle and me and my opponent both send out our pokemons at the same time. No turns passed between this. His Yanmega vs my Infernape. He showed me his Yanmega after and i easily outspeed it before Speed Boost. Still he hit his air slash before i could attack. I've used Speed Boost on my own Blaziken before and i don't recall any bugs after it got fixed last time. I suspect this behavior might be due to another bug. Mid-game we both died on our previous pokemons on the same turn. I suspect the game is bugged when that situation happens, an extra turn passes. I recall seeing sandstorm damage and leftovers being triggered again in other battles (i can't recall if it was the same situation) and i think these things might be related. It's not a common situation to have both pokemon die in the same turn. If those events also had to include speed boost in the mix it seems fair to assume that this is a very rare situation which makes it difficult to find the bug. I guess the situation where 2 pokemon dies on the same turn could be re-created and then pokemon with leftovers (with lost health) or pokemon that takes damage from sandstorm could be sent out to see if they trigger twice. Also, no sticky web was up. I had 3 spikes on his field as well. Shouldn't make any difference especially with him being flying and all but just to throw information out there. This is my best theory at least. EDIT: I can confirm the bug being related to the situation where both players lose a pokemon on the same turn. I just tested sandstorm and leftovers using my 2 accounts and 1 clefairy on each team using healing wish on the same turn resulting in both of them dying. Then switching in pokemon affected by sandstorm or damaged pokemon with leftovers and they did indeed trigger immediately as if a turn just ended (tested both leftovers and sandstorm).
  9. And then your opponent has like 20 rating and his team is full of RNG. Machamp lead, Milotic, Lanturn and even Starmie (wut??) with confuse ray. All your pokemon start to hit themselves and crits are flying in the air and you get haxed to death. That situation happened to me.

    PVP season

Only Shane knows afaik. I guess it's just not a priority for staff. You're not the only one thinking it should be like this. It's been discussed many times and people have exchanged their frustrations but yea..
  12. Yea, it would be nice to know if there are actually any plans at all for these updates.
