character freeze everytime defeating wild pokemon
Kubrick replied to Scythee's topic in General Bugs
Hello again. I have spoken with my fellow Staff Members. This is a bug that they are aware of and are working on fixing. The bug occurs when a player logs out immediately when finishing a battle (clicking the last move) and learning a move on any of their Pokémon. After logging back in, players can move again, but the issue reappears after the next battle (whether against an NPC or a wild Pokémon battle). In the meantime, a solution was proposed to hopefully allow you to continue progressing. What I would ask you to do is before interacting with Super Nerd Quinn, close the PROClient entirely. Then, reopen it again and log back in. When you'll do, you should be able to fight the Super Nerd Quinn and the text should finish allowing you to continue the story. Please try the solution described above and come back to tell us if you managed to continue forward with the story. If the solution offered didn't fix the issue, we'll continue with further assistance. Looking forward to your reply, - Kubrick -

Hello again. Thank you for providing a video file, I have forwarded the issue to my colleagues. We will do our best to work out a solution and I will come back to you as soon as possible. Your patience is appreciated. Looking forward coming back to you with a solution, - Kubrick -
Hello again. I forwarded the issue to my colleagues. I again ask for you patience while we investigate and work a solution. Would it be possible for you to send a screenshot of the NPC blocking the entrance to the Team Aqua Hideout, please? Looking forward coming back to you with a solution, - Kubrick

Hello again. I consulted with my fellow Staff Members. It seems you have already cleared the Team Magma Hideout (the one in Jagged Pass showned in your screenshot). Your next step should be to go Lilycove City and take on the Team Aqua Hideout located on the upper right side of Lilycove. Surfing will be needed to access it, more details here and scrolling down to the "Lilycove City" section. Please try the solution described above and come back to tell us if you were able to continue your storyline. Looking forward to your reply, - Kubrick

Hi there. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. From what I see, I believe this may be due to a bug relating to the Resolution part of the Options. Maybe the Resolution settings were changed and again, a bug caused the GUI scale to not ajust. What I'd ask you to do is first, make sure the game is closed. Then reopen the Launcher again but do not login, stay on the login page. You will see the "Options" on the bottom right. There, try and switching the Resolution to "Fullscreen", apply/save and see if the GUI ajusted. Additionally, what you could try and do is switch the Resolution(640x480) to another one once to see if the GUI will ajust. If after trying these steps you notice that the GUI wasn't fixed, I'd ask you to uninstall/reinstall the PRO Client and making sure no file remain before reinstalling it (temporary files and making sure it's not in the Trash Bin still). If after all these steps your issue really isn't fixed, come back and mention it here so we can proceed with further assistance. Looking forward to your reply, - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Since you were able to enter the Jagged Pass in the first place, it's fair to assume that you finished the MT.Pyre section of the Hoenn story entirely. When you went back to speak to the Old Man ontop of MT.Pyre, did you also speak to the Old Woman beside him? What I would ask you to do is kindly go back to MT.Pyre again and speak to the Old Man and Woman ontop. This should technically open up the Jagged Pass entry for Team Magma's hideout. If after making sure to have spoken to both NPCs again you go back to the Jagged Pass and the entry to the Magma hideout still doesn't open, come back here and mention it. In the meantime, I forwarded the situation to the appropriate members to see if they'd know of a solution. Looking forward to your reply and coming back to you with a solution, - Kubrick

character freeze everytime defeating wild pokemon
Kubrick replied to Scythee's topic in General Bugs
Hello again. No inconvenience, we are here to help. Thank you for clarifying the situation further. Any type of screenshots would be appreciated. If you could show a screenshot of before the battle with Quinn and directly after finishing the battle, it would really help (including the dialogues if possible). Including any screenshot of before and after a Wild Pokémon Battle would also be appreciated. As for the allowed video format on the Forum, I believe either a .MKV or .MP4 file should do it, but keep in mind that there is a size limit to what can be uploaded. In the meantime, I have forwarded the issue to my colleagues to see if anyone would be aware of the situation. I will come back to you as soon as I have an answer. Your patience and comprehension is much appreciated. Looking forward to your reply and coming back to you with an answer, - Kubrick -
Hello again. I am glad to know your issue was resolved now @Goatred. My apologies for not being available at the same time as you were, but the important is that the issue is fixed and you can resume your adventures. As for you @Unleashhell, I'd kindly ask you to make a thread in the General Bugs section of the Forum (here). Please describe the issue with as much details as possible and if you can, include some screenshots. Me or another fellow Staff Member will do our best to assist you. On that note, I will now lock this thread. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other issues or questions. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. The issue you are describing has been adressed on today's Discord announcement. The reconnection had a problem but the Developpers changed the reconnection timer from 45 seconds to two hours, so hopefully this should fix a big part of the issue. We hope the information provided will be useful to you. Always feel free to come back and ask if you have any future questions of issue. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick -
character freeze everytime defeating wild pokemon

Hello again. Can I ask if the issue about being stuck and unable to move after a battle is fixed after levelling your Pokémon? As for the Super Nerd Quinn part, can I ask what exactly happens when you interact with him now? Are you simply not able to interact and start the battle with him or is it the same thing than before, you defeat him, freezes, then when you log back you gotta fight him again? If you could include screenshots in your reply it would be tremendously appreciated. Looking forward hearing back from you, - Kubrick -
Hello again. Please tag me here when you will be online, I will do my best to help you out. Looking forward helping you, - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for coming to us about this issue. I have asked my fellow Staff members about this and I've been informed that this is a bug that we are currently experiencing and working on fixing. It isn't on your part, so you can continue your adventures at ease and we'll hopefully have this issue fixed soon. As this answers your question, I will now lock this topic. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other questions or issue in the future. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hi there. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Could I ask you to provide us with more details as to what is exactly the issue and if possible, some screenshots as well? Looking forward hearing back from you, - Kubrick

Hi there. Thank you for contacting us about your issues. First off, I present you my apologies for the delay of response. We at the Staff team do our best to answer every player that comes to us for help as best and fast as we can, but you also must keep in mind that Staff work is voluntary and we sometimes have other priorities outside of PRO. With that said, I present you my apologies for the situation you experienced with the Halloween Sneasel. It is extremely unfortunate, we can't know if this was the server crashing, your Internet connection timing out/disconnecting or some other similar issue that caused the crash. In cases like these, we unfortunately cannot "restore" the Pokémon even with screenshots proving you did encounter it. Again, you have my sincere apologies for that unfortunate situation. Now regarding the Cyan Fire Wings issue you posted about, can I ask if you had acquired them during the 2020 Summer Event? Because as you may already know, these wings were only obtainable during that specific Event in 2020 and weren't available afterwards. I believe there was a glitch in this previous 2024 Summer Event that caused players to be able to get them, but this was an issue on our part and all the Cyan Fire Wings acquired during that time were removed from players's accounts. I hope the information provided will be useful to you. Again, I present you my apologies for the Sneasel situation and I really hope you continue on hunting to get another. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other question or issue in the future. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

character freeze everytime defeating wild pokemon
Kubrick replied to Scythee's topic in General Bugs
Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. From what I can gather, I think this may be due to one or more of the Pokémon either evolving after a battle, one of them learning a move or both at the same time. When either of those event happens, your character stops moving and a window pops up of either the evolution or the learning move. It's possible maybe something happened that prevented you from seeing the window, thus it kept you stuck and unable to move while still being able to click on the options like Backpack and Pokédex on the left. As for the Super Nerd Quinn part, I have to assume it's the same thing that was happening, altough the re-login rerolling you back to before the battle is a bit confusing. I see that your Pidgey is level 21 and with the new Generation 9 implemented, Pidgey learns Twister at level 21 and evolves at level 18. It's possible maybe that was the Pokémon who wanted to learn a move and possibly evolve, but it's only a guess, it could've been another Pokémon who wanted to learn a move. What I would ask you to do is try and keeping only one or two Pokémon in your team while you level up one of them (your Pidgey for example). If possible, try and raise your Pokémon's level by 1 and then go back and fight Super Nerd Quinn to see if it lets you proceed. If after trying to level up your Pokémon's level by 1 and beating Super Nerd Quinn afterwards your issue still persist, kindly come back and mention it here so we can proceed with further assistance. Looking forward hearing back from you, - Kubrick -
Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Could I ask you to provide more details as to what happened, please? From what I understand, you somewhat found a spot of the Battle Tower map that made you change map to Route 225 and get stuck in your current situation. Could you try and pinpoint exactly where in the map it happened? Depending on what happened, there's a few procedures I could provide that'll hopefully fix the problem. For one, try and uninstall/reinstall the game entirely. Download link is here. If after reinstalling the game you log back with the same issue, come back and mention it here on the topic so I can proceed with further assistance. As a secondary step, only if you have one of course, try and log on another device than your usual one, whether it'd be an Android device or another PC. Again, this is optional, only if you have another device. Looking forward hearing back from you, - Kubrick

Hola. - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Did you made sure none of the Pokémon you brought into the dungeon had a Fire type move (even Status moves like Sunny Day or Will-O-Wisp)? Because it's important to remember, the Hearts make it so any Pokémon with a least one move of the corresponding Heart type are considered being of that type and apply the protection. Example: a Weavile with the move Sunny Day will be considered a Fire type despite being Dark/Ice type. If you were sure you had no Fire type Pokémon and none of the Pokémon you brought had Fire type moves, kindly come back and mention it here so we can proceed with further assistance. Otherwise, we hope the information provided will be useful to you. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hello again. I talked with my colleagues about this particular situation. I have been informed that indeed, there is currently a bug that makes you stuck like you did when you use Weather Ball without any weather present. It should be fixed in the next Client release. Until then, you have my apologies for any inconvenience it may cause. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other question, comment or issue in the future. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Could I ask you to link a screenshot of your Venusaur, please? I cannot say for sure, but if this error happens with Venusaur only, it's possible maybe it's because it has the Hidden Ability Chlorophyll with Weather Ball, which should be unavailable to get currently and it may cause the Client to make this error. In the meantime, I will consult with my colleagues to check if they'd know anything. Looking forward hearing back from you and coming back to you with an answer, - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. You have my apologies for the delay of response. From what I can gather, it seems that either you tried to connect at a time when the server(s) were down (as the "failed to connect to proxy" error in alot of cases is synonym of the server(s) being down, maybe you are using a VPN which somewhat could be interfering with connecting to the PRO Client, it could also maybe be related to your firewall settings or maybe it could be another issue related to your Internet connection. Here are the steps for what I would recommend you do: - Make sure your version of the PRO Client is up to date (if it wasn't, you would get the message "This version of PRO is outdated" when trying to log in, but just in case). - If you are using a VPN, please try turning it off to see if it allows you to connect to PRO. - Make sure PRO is allowed to pass through your firewall on your system. - If all the above solutions weren't helpful, try resetting your Internet connection to see if it somewhat fixes the issue. Please try all of the above solutions to see if one of them will help you fix your issue. If it's all without sucess, come back and mention it here so we can try and proceed with further assistance. Looking forward hearing back from you, - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Do not worry, everything's not lost. You will still have a chance to catch Heatran. To do so, what you will need to do is go to the Unknown Place, located in the Trainer's Valley (you will have to have unlocked the Valley, more details here). In the Unknown Place, a Boss NPC by the name of Nikola will be there. He is a "special" Boss NPC that you can only challenge when you failed to catch a Legendary Pokémon and once defeated, he shall give you another chance to catch the last Legendary Pokémon you failed to catch. If you want more information, I invite you to read more about it here. We hope the information provided will be useful to you and will allow you to proceed with catching Heatran. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any future question, comment or issue. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. You see, in cases of disconnection, there can be more than 1 reason for it. It does unfortunately happen sometimes that it's the server(s) themselves who experience a bug/issue that causes the game to crash temporarily, sometimes it can be the player(s)'s Internet connection that faults, it can even sometimes be some other program that interferes with PRO. In your case, if you and your friend did experience a crash at the same time and you weren't both on the same Internet connection, it is very possible that it might've been the server who experienced an issue and briefly crashed. For that, I can but present you my sincere apologies for this unfortunate event. We in the Staff Team do our best to keep the game up and running as much as possible, but it can happen sometimes that a bug or issue takes a little time to fix. Again, you have my apologies for this incident. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other question, comment or issue in the future. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick

Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. Could I kindly ask you to try and provide screenshots of what happens when you try to type In-Game, so we can try and look for a solution, please? Any type of screenshot will be appreciated so we can look further into it. Looking forward to your reply, - Kubrick -
Hi. Thank you for contacting us about your issue. You see, Venusaur with Weather Ball was originally an event-exclusive Pokémon from the official Pokémon games (specifically from Generation V games). At that time, the Bulbasaur handed with Weather Ball did not have the hidden Ability Chlorophyll and I believe that is why you cannot teach your specific Venusaur Weather Ball. Venusaurs with Overgrow will be able to learn it, but those with Chlorophyll unfortunately cannot. We hope the information provided will be useful to you. Please always feel free to come back and ask if you have any other question or comment. Good luck in your adventures! - Kubrick
