The Red server has crashed, please try to log back in when the server is online again. You can check the status of the server using the Server Status Checker. Unfortunately you will need to fight the E4 again if there has been any rollback, as anything lost due to rollback cannot be refunded.
-
Please ask your friend to check the contents of his party and PC too. It may be that it has not been given back.

You can find it here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=32862 Hope this helps! Hi, Thank you so much for this. it helped aot. but is there any way i could get any sort of compensation for the loss of my membership. as for the last update i was prompted to download it upon opening the client. but with this one i was not. Sorry to be a trouble. I'm glad to hear it helped! However, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for this reason. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Best of luck with your game!

Is your client up to date? This is the PROMAC 952 version. If so, do you receive an error message when trying to log in - or does your device simply not launch the client at all? I am unable to download the new mac client from media fire as it says it is unsafe. What do? I have written a guide on how to download the new client on a MAC. You can find it here: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=32862 Hope this helps!

Has your friend accepted his confirmation e-mail? He should receive one shortly after he registers. Please also ask your friend to ensure his system meets the minimum requirements for the game, as well as has a stable internet connection. You can find the minimum requirements for the game here. If this does not help your issue please reply and give more details on the error, such as does the client launch, if so, does he receive an error message when he tries to log in?

Please could you tell us what server you are on. Topic moved to proper place.

Please visit the Server Status Checker. It may be that the server you are trying to connect to is currently down. Please also check your own internet, this error message can also occur with an unstable internet connection. You may also find this Guide helpful. If you would like to speak to someone directly for further help, you can visit our Live Chat Support.

You will need to clear the gym again, as unfortunately, progress lost due to rollback is non-refundable.
-
You will need to be online to resolve this issue. When you are next online please look for a full member of staff such as a GM, Admin, CC or TMod and either briefly explain your situation or point them in the direction of this post. They will be able to help you further.

Hello again, OlegJah. I have done a little testing of all of the MAC clients available and have written a Guide. If you have any further problems, please comment on the guide, as I would like to cater it to all MAC users and develop the guide to cover all needs. Please follow the guide from the beginning again, and choose one of the clients I have stated do work. I really hope this helps this time.

You may need to repair the .zip file before opening it. You can do this by opening the winrar application, find the PRO .zip file - once you have chosen the file there should be an option to repair. You may also find some information here, that may help guide you also if repairing doesn't work. If this does not help please get in touch and I will try to guide you further. When you receive the "Cannot connect to server" message it means that the server is currently down. You can double check this by visiting the Server Status Checker. You can also find the link to our Live Support Chat and ask here if you are unsure and would like a second opinion.

Hello OlegJah, It seems that your security settings are blocking the app from launching. Please follow these steps and they should help you. 1. Clear your device of any and all copies of PRO. This includes any up to date clients too. Ensure that you empty your Trash so they are fully wiped. 2. Go to System Preferences > General. It will bring you to this page: 3. Unlock your Settings by clicking the padlock, this will prompt a password if you use one. After doing this, make sure that "Allow Apps Downloaded From: Everywhere" is selected as shown in the image. 4. Now download your client from this webpage. If the webpage is down it will prompt you to download the client from Mediafire rather than an automatic download - the Mediafire version will prompt you with a captcha. You DO NOT want the Mediafire one, if it gives you this one, wait and try to download again later OR try one of the mirrors Delareen has linked above. 5. This client unlike previous clients downloads as a zip file, I have tested this multiple times and found that it does not always unzip the file automatically so you may need to do this manually. 6. Make sure your client is in the Applications folder on your computer - mine automatically appeared in downloads, you may also need to move this manually also. 7. Try to open the client. Hopefully this should work, your Security Settings may prompt you with a final warning that you are downloading from an Unidentified User, accept this. Please get in touch if this does not help and I will try my best to guide you further!

I've seen staff muting people for just stepping over the border a bit in chat. There is no sense of nuance, not all rule breaking is of the same caliber. But that's the point with the lawful evil, you cannot argue with it, because if you look at the rules the moderators were doing their job and theres nothing you can do to argue with that. In the real world there is argument over what is and isn't adult-content. Not all parents agree, let alone countries. The U.S. seems to be a lot more strict with foul language than Europe for example. Overprotection is also a thing and it's certainly present in this community. It's not a huge deal, but the problem is that you always have Eric Cartmans around who know very well how to exploit these rules and get people into trouble with it. You can confuse a joke for "harassment", and people know this. You can't be in a battle and say anything even remotely off-track to try and joke with your opponent, because you might be playing against someone who will immediately yell "reported!" and possibly get you into trouble. Said person might not even be offended by what you said, but just feels like causing you trouble. It's very toxic for anyone who has a sense of humor and that's too bad. But I do think that when there is a good reason to actually ban people, that's when this system shines, because it's outright ruthless. I understand your points completely, Skedra. However in regards to your comment “the moderators were doing their job and there’s nothing you can do to argue with that” I would like to disagree. The staff are here to police the community, yes, but we are not here to be dictators. I am going to take the opportunity again to reiterate that if you ever experience and/or witness something that is deemed as unnecessary moderation, or what people like to call “abuse of power” please do report this with proof. Forms of proof are either screenshots (you can use tools such as imgur/lightshot/gyazo etc for this) or a linked youtube video (uploaded as unlisted for your own privacy). We are here for you, we are here to make your gameplay more enjoyable and we are here to help you. However we are human, we may make mistakes - but we will not grow without feedback. I’d actually like to thank you for creating this thread, it seems that there is a Player-Staff divide where people are afraid to raise this kind of discussion, and I’d like to also thank you for your maturity and the way you have approached the subject. As staff we should be seen as approachable, and you should feel comfortable to talk about things like this. I’m not sure I understand fully what you mean when you say about overprotection across continents. The staff team are located all around the world, so I would be interested in you discussing this point further. Unfortunately in response to your comments about confusion amongst players, and when players attempt to instigate punishment, like in you example when players will say “Reported!” we are quite limited. We do actually ask in our Rules that players refrain from acting as “mini-mods” as it causes confusion about the rules. However this is not punishable until it reaches the extent of impersonating staff or is genuinely misleading for the purpose of entertainment, as some players do genuinely believe they are helping - and a lot actually do. We are thankful to have the types of players that do help, and give accurate information, this is an MMO - it is nice to have players who create a welcoming community. I gotta say, I did laugh a little at the comment about the system being ruthless. In an ideal world, it would be nice to never have to punish anyone - because it would mean that we had a solid community in place with a mutual respect for the rules and genuinely content players. Unfortunately, wherever you go, there will always be trouble makers and this is unavoidable, so we simply do the best we can. My overall point here, albeit a bit long-winded, if you see genuine wrong-doing, do not be afraid to call us out on it.

This is not the right place to discuss any punishment you have received. If you are ever unsure of the punishment you have received or the duration of it, please log in to the Account Homepage. This will show you any current bans on the account. Please visit Appeals if you would like to either appeal or discuss the topic further. This topic will be locked.

Firstly, thankyou for the praise you have given the game. Feedback is always a positive thing, and it will always make us happy when hard work is recognised. Secondly, let's talk about these cons a little. I would like to stress that if you ever feel a staff member is out of line in their behaviour and moderates excessively and/or unfairly, make a screenshot and make a report in the Report Center. You have a right to give your opinion, and as you have done here, don't be afraid to share it. I would like to show you another perspective. As staff it is our jobs to provide the environment we intended, which is an adult-content free game - allowing anyone of any age to be a part of the community without common stresses found on the internet such as foul language, exposure to toxic conversation and/or content, being harassed etc - the list really does go on. The rules are there and enforced to help provide an enjoyable experience. You seem to have a couple pointers about what you'd like to see in the game, such as music changes and extra storyline features such as joining Team Rocket etc. Please post your ideas in the Suggestions sub-forum, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome. You may like to know music changes have been suggested multiple times already, and I feel you might enjoy this thread about a Factions Concept.
