Starmie used to be harder, i lowered starmie by 4 levels (and FYI i dont actually get y starmie has ice beam anyway, it didnt in the handhelds or.anime) a while ago, along with lowering levels of other gym leaders. Of course u 1 shot everything after that. U were using pokes with type advantages.

Yeah, those pokemon are *supposed* to be difficult to find. If u cant find them, just keep looking. If u came here for an easy game, u came to the wrong place. Starmie however, i agree we need to replace ice beam with icy wind, as its more appropriate to the point in the game. Otherwise u basically want a game u can breeze through without any effort whatsoever, which wont happen. U arent supposed to get the best pokemon and access optional purchases within 1 day of playtime. This game will take skill to complete, its as simple as that

Naero pretty much summed the situation with legendaries up. A further note - all catchable legendaries wont be tradeable anyway.

You all throw up valid points. However isnt it every players destiny to become a pokemon master? The elite 4 may well be the 'official' elite trainers, but did you know there are others around the regions rhat surpass even max level? (These are the optional battles in PRO, but give out really cool prizes once beaten)

This is the first time I've heard about this, how are they obtainable in-game? There are a couple of NPCs hidden around (i cant remember where however, Red and the scripting team made them), that asks a player to complete quite lengthy tasks, like evolve 6 dragons for example, or catch 200 pokemon. Over the coming weeks we may add a few more of these earners around the game. There wont be too many but u will be able to earn enough to get a month or 2s worth of MS for free (by the time all is completed)

Me and Red were discussing the possibility of making fly a donation based ability, by using donation coins as currency for fly usage. (We would still give out the HM in the standard way, but when you go to use it out of battle, it would pop up with a dialogue box similar to surf but will ask for an amount of coins to use. This may sound like a bit harsh but i believe this is the only way to ensure that fly is balanced and a sought after feature (bear in mind anyone can actually earn donation coins throughout general gameplay, its just a whole lot harder to get than just donating).

Bye :) Im sure another game will enjoy ur immaturity. FYI: threatening to get someone banned because they were asking questions would have gotten ur accounts test privileges revoked and possibly banned for impersonating a staff member.

This is one of the more comprehensive suggestions threads ive read. However here r a few things that stand out: - We will have a system for legendaries. Most of them WILL NOT be catchable however. Thus the ones that will be (articuno, raikou for example) will be allowed to be used in battle. Legendaries are supposed to be legendary, if everyone could catch one then they wouldnt be so great. And trust me, you wont even be able to get the required access to enter legend quests for a long time. - We already have a costume shop for clothes and hats. There would have been one for hairstyles (it would be in goldenrod city) but i dont think the hairstyles have item codes. Also, there are 27 hair colours and at least 12+ of each gender hairstyle...that is a fair amount, more than North Korea allow anyway :p - We will not have multi-region choice starts. The whole game is linear (apart from the sevii and orange islands which require completing certain regions to access, and are MS only regions), therefore you need to start in kanto. Thats how the story is scripted out. It would literally be impossible to start in another region without ruining the story. - The small pokemon is a correct visual aspect. For example, if you were in africa and saw a lion from a distance, it will be smaller right?. The pokemon's size will.make more sense once we have finished and added the completed situational backgrounds (the ones ingame are temporary currently) Also, im glad you like the overall graphics, the Art team and I have worked tirelessly over the past 9 months to deliver something we can be proud of, and everyone can enjoy visually.

Murkrow, houndour, absol and umbreon are catchable (yes, umbreon is catchable, just super rare) for definite. I think also poochyena might be too but i dont know on that one. Also youre the first person to complain about mega gengar. We have designed each region so that you have to complete the whole region (even the elite 4) before you can advance. If we had it so you would only need 8 badges it would bypass the whole point of the E4 and make the game remarkably pointless to play. If you were looking for an easy ride u came to the wrong game :)

When we have the mwga stones working, this will be amended so that agatha has just a normal gengar which mega evolves.

However we're building quests and such inspired by the pokemon anime and manga. If we just did the exact same thing as the handhelds where would the challenge be? I do agree though we need to rescript the safari ticket seller. -

Victor wont be moved. The location of the NPC is absolutely essential to why we have used him as an 'unlocker'. Watch the pokemon anime and you might learn why he is there. Also play Pokemon Yellow, this house and Victor is in the location we have put it (although his function is different there than to here) Also i believe there is a signpost/NPC somewhere that actually tells you about him and his pikachu. -

Yeah thats my bad, i only fixed the lavender one, this one has the same mapping errors too as the other one did. Ill make the shops shortly (thats why the NPC is missing) I just also want to say thank you to everyone who is taking the time to help out. Youre all doing a great job.

Most will only be obtainabke as end-game content, and also will be hard to get, you gotta.earn your mega stone ;)

I dont mean to sound rude, but actually try to play PRO and see what we do or dont have. About half of the things you suggested we already have. Breeding will never be in PRO, ever. Starters will never ever have set IVs (they are catchable somewhere also), this isnt PWO. This is an MMO, if youre here to find an exact replica of a handheld game experience, youre SOL, pokemon will be generally harder to find than in the handhelds, thats a fact. Fly isnt very important either. We will have our own transport systems, Fly is basically a free way of teleportng around regions, which doesnt work well on MMOs, look at most others. They dont have Fly either. Pay Day will most likely not have its monetary effect either (basically free money).

I forgot to mention the file size. Every single static sprite takes up maybe 10mb. Those animated sprites take up 18x + that. A lot of space for (imo) something not completely necessary. I prefer the 5th gen style animation over gen 6 ones

Short answer: Most likely not Long answer: they aren't of the quality we want, just look at that. it is pixilated to hell. even if in the future we were to add them, they wouldn't look right.
