I have indeed personally rechecked the mechanics on Pokemon Showdown. Once again, I can confirm: Critical hits do not ignore the attack debuff from being burned. Please refer to Hideliet's post above for the full excerpt from Bulbapedia, as it seems you may have missed reading the part where it's specifically mentioned that the stat modifier from being burned is not ignored in a critical hit. Your topic was moved because what you were reporting wasn't a bug, so it didn't belong in the Bug Resolution Center. For that matter, neither does this topic. I have moved it once again to General Support, as this is not a bug. I'm sorry for your inconvenience; however, this is a PvP game mechanic that the official Pokemon games have created. And PRO will be sticking to the PvP mechanics of the mainline Pokemon games. Please do not continue to create more threads about this, as the issue has been addressed at this point. Further threads will be considered spam and locked.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you've been having this issue. Here are some more steps you can try: 1. Open the WinRAR application and locate the PRO .zip file, then select the "Repair" button from the toolbar menu. Try opening the file again afterwards. 2. Use another extractor program if WinRAR and 7zip aren't doing the trick. You can search up an online extractor, or use the default extractor that comes with the Windows OS (just double click and you should get an option to extract). Let me know if the issue continues to persist, and we'll try to troubleshoot further.

Topic moved to proper forum. Hey there, Shaidesu. I'm sorry to hear this has been your experience thus far. Catch rate mechanics should indeed be working correctly, however - it seems you may be experiencing a particularly unfortunate bout of bad RNG. For optimal catching efficiency, I'd recommend using a Pokemon with False Swipe to bring the wild Pokemon down to 1 HP. I'd also recommend putting the wild Pokemon to sleep rather than paralyzing it, since you'll receive a higher catch rate multiplier from the sleep status than from the paralysis status. Paras and Shroomish are built particularly well for catching other Pokemon, as those two species are capable of learning both False Swipe and Spore (a 100% accurate sleep-inducing move). Hopefully using those tips can help you catch more wild Pokemon in the future. Again, apologies for any inconveniences you may have experienced so far. Best of luck!

Critical hit can not ignore the 'burn state'
Pixiu replied to Poiqweuyrt01's topic in Resolved General Support
Hi there. From the screenshots you've posted, this doesn't actually appear to be a bug. As per Bulbapedia's description of critical hit mechanics, critical hits do not ignore the attack debuff you receive from being burned. That means that your Honchkrow's critical hit Night Slash damage will still be halved if it's burned. Hopefully that clears things up! Topic moved to proper forum. -
Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that you've been running into this issue. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. Can you tell me what happens after you try adding the -force-d3d9 to the target? For example, do you get a popup that says something along the lines of "Target path invalid"? You may also need to remove and reinstall your DirectX files (you can do so using the link provided in this crash guide). Topic moved to proper forum.

Hi there. I'm guessing that you were facing Metagross when you received the "It's completely ineffective" message. That message actually refers to Metagross' ability Clear Body, which prevents attacks from reducing the Pokemon's stats. So if you were using a move like Bulldoze, which lowers the target's Speed stat, you'd get the "It's completely ineffective" message in reference to the stat-reducing effect, and then the "It's super effective" message in reference to the actual damage that was dealt. Hope that clears things up. Regarding the second part of your post, this has recently been corrected. Thanks for reporting, though! Topic moved to proper forum.

Topic moved to proper forum. Make sure your Internet connection is stable when trying to connect. Also, please note that it can take time for the game to load data from the map server when many other users are all trying to connect at the same time. The best solution is usually just to wait patiently for a few minutes.

For the PS4 controller, I believe you'll need to use a third-party key-mapping program like Xpadder.

Ecruteak Dance Theater Rocket Grunt Issue
Pixiu replied to Boltzz's topic in Resolved General Support
Hi there, the cooldown on rebattling the Team Rocket grunt NPC should be around 2 hours real time. Try speaking to him again and let me know how that works. -

Hi there, this is because the Xbox 360 controller uses XInput, which is not supported by PRO at this time. You can try to work around it by using a third-party program that lets you map keyboard/mouse input to controller buttons, such as Xpadder. Otherwise, however, you'll have to stick with the default keyboard and mouse options.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear this happened. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. Can you provide us with some screenshots of what your team, PC, and Trainer Card look like now? It would also help if you could link any screenshots you might have showing what your team looked like beforehand, for comparison's sake. Here's a guide on uploading images within forum posts.

Hi there, this actually isn't a bug. There are certain Pokemon that can learn Dark Pulse via move tutor, but Greninja is not amongst them, as it can only learn Dark Pulse by TM. That's why the Dark Pulse move tutor isn't working for it. Unfortunately, as you said, the Dark Pulse TM isn't available in game at the moment, so you'll have to wait until it's made obtainable. We don't have an ETA for this, but keep an eye on our update logs, as that's where news about TMs/moves/etc will be posted. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! Topic moved to proper forum.

Hi, if you haven't already, please be sure to read through this "Cannot connect" guide. After following the steps listed there, here are a few more things you can try if you're still meeting the same "Cannot connect" message. 1. Restart your computer and check your firewall/antivirus settings to make sure PRO isn't accidentally being blocked. 2. Restart your router. 3. Remove your game files and reinstall the client again. Good luck, let me know how it works!

Adding on to what's already been said, you'll also need 150+ happiness on your Pokemon to use Dive outside battle, so be sure to double check you're meeting that requirement.

Quoting for visibility: Sorry to hear this happened to you. Make a topic in the appropriate subforum with your screenshots, and a staff member will look into the issue. Good luck, and thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Hi, I've split your post from the previous topic, as this is a separate issue from what was being discussed. When you're hit with a "Cannot connect" message, please make sure to read through this guide and follow the steps listed there. In this case, the Red server experienced a crash around the time you made your post, which is likely why you couldn't play. It should be online now, so try connecting again. For future reference, you can use this server status checker to monitor the status of the server you're playing on.

I'm going to assume Magic Mirrors will also work just like mounts in the manner of trading through Pokémon, but regardless, thanks for the helpful response. It's much appreciated. That's exactly what I needed to know :Sing: Yep, Magic Mirrors are tradable as well. :) Since the question's been answered, I'll be locking the thread now. Enjoy your game!

The only reports you'll be able to see are reports that you yourself have submitted. You won't have access to reports that other users have submitted. In order to see the reason for your trade ban, you'll need to make a topic in the Discipline Appeals subforum, and a staff member will respond to you there. Please do not create threads discussing bans outside of the Discipline Appeals subforum. I'll be locking this thread now.

No problem. :) Enjoy your game! Locking the thread.

When you first go to Johto, your Kanto Pokemon will be locked in your PC until you have 8 Johto badges. Afterwards you'll be able to access them again. In the meantime, you'll be able to build a fresh team of Johto-caught Pokemon, however. Topic moved to proper forum.

Hi there, I've moved your topic to the PvP subforum so that other users can weigh in with their opinions. Good luck!

https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=8584 in this Thread it says safari entrance and safari area 2 thats why I asked aswell To clarify, the in-game Pokedex entry of a Pokemon will always be up-to-date on its spawn information, while spawn guides need to be manually updated and, as such, may not always be completely up-to-date. When in doubt, always defer to the Pokedex entry. As Demmyale's image shows, Dratini is currently catchable at the Kanto Safari MS Exclusive Area (Surf), Love Island (Surf), and Dragon's Den (Super Rod). Hope that clears things up. Good luck!
