  1. ~ Topic moved to proper forum. ~ You don't need any badges to use Rock Smash outside battle. As for Fishing Rods, if you're getting the "..." animation above your head when using the Fishing Rod, it's working properly. It may take some time to encounter an actual Pokemon, though, so keep using the Rod until a battle window pops up. You don't need the 4th badge to use rods. They work fine without it as I was using the water in Ecruteak to train before the gym. This is correct, you don't need any badges to use Fishing Rods in Kanto or Johto. However, you do need five badges to use a Fishing Rod in Hoenn, which is where the confusion may have arisen from. :)
  2. Ultimately, the goal is to fix and update all bugged or uncoded moves. However, we can't give you an exact timeframe on when that will be done. In this case, that's what "eventually" is referring to - it will happen, but there isn't an ETA, so please be patient in the meantime. Make sure to keep an eye on our update logs, as that's where news on updated moves/abilities/etc will be posted. Sorry for the inconvenience, and enjoy your game!
  3. Hi there. Unfortunately, not all Pokemon's movesets are fully updated at the moment - Sneasel's is one of the movesets that still needs to be brought up to speed in future updates. The goal is to update all movesets eventually, but we can't give you an exact timeframe for that, so please be patient in the meantime. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  4. Hi there. Unfortunately, staff does not offer the option to reset your account. However, because game data doesn't transfer across servers, you can try starting over on a different server instead, and it will essentially be like starting your game over. You also have the option of creating another account to play on - you're allowed 2 accounts per email address and 4 accounts total.

Yup, I meant that if you experience this issue again - where you seem to encounter an invisible wall and can't move for a few seconds - you should try Alt Tabbing or pressing the re-sync button before you log out. This kind of issue can happen when your location on the map server doesn't match your location in game. Have you been able to resolve this issue, or are you still stuck in game?

  7. Hi, if you suspect that the other user has scammed you of your Pokemon, you'll need to submit proof/screenshots of the conversation and the trade so that staff can look into the issue for you. Can you tell me what server was this on, so I can move your post to the Report Center?
  8. In the PM you linked, your opponent says that your Azumarill wasn't fainted on their game screen. Were you able to use any moves on your Azumarill after it showed up as fainted on your screen?
  9. Hi, other users with this issue have commented that speaking to Wattson from a different side seems to help, so you could try that. Otherwise, the best thing to do is to restart the client - make sure to close the client fully rather than just log in and out of the game. It may take a number of tries restarting the client, but you should be able to get the dialogue eventually if you're patient. Sorry for the inconvenience.   12. Hi, this is a known visual glitch that happens when you try dragging a Pokemon from your PC into the chatbox or a PM conversation. If you restart your client fully, however, the glitch should disappear.
  13. Nope, the hat is unobtainable if you didn't select Pikachu as your starter. Your friend was likely referring to an NPC at Ecruteak City that sells a Red Cap - the Red Cap looks somewhat visually similar to the Ash Hat, but isn't the same item.
  14. Yes, you did mention that you use Windows 7 in your previous posts. Non-Windows 10 users have also reported that applying the DirectX fix has helped them when encountering this kind of crash, so the issue may not be strictly OS-related. Please try the suggestions I've linked anyway, if you haven't already tried them. Once again:
  15. Hi, have you checked that your login information has been entered correctly? If you're getting a "Logging in..." message and no queue window afterwards, this is referred to as the ghost queue. Basically you've hit an invisible/latent queue - you're still connected into the queue, the window just isn't showing up properly on your screen. You can wait it out as though it's a normal queue, or you can relaunch the client a few times until you get the queue window showing up correctly. Either way, you should be able to connect eventually.
  16. There's no bug, the game is working as intended. As other users have pointed out, you'll need the appropriate badge in each region to use HMs like Cut/Surf/etc outside of battle. Topic moved to proper forum.
  17. Not all Windows 10 users will experience this issue. In general, it tends to be related to buggy drivers.

  19. Do you have an Escape Rope in your inventory? If so, use that to return to your last-visited Pokemon Center. If not, please try to seek the assistance of an available staff member in-game who can teleport you. This situation can be caused due to lag when your location on the map server doesn’t match with your position in game. If you encounter a similar case in the future, try pressing your re-sync button at the bottom of the screen, or Alt Tab in and out of the game. Topic moved to proper forum.

  22. Hi, this can happen sometimes due to a server-side glitch. Essentially, the game is continuing to register your account session as active even though you've already logged out from the game. Unfortunately, in this case you'll have to wait for the next server reboot in order to log in again. You can keep an eye on the server status here. Sorry for the inconvenience, and best of luck!

  24. There's a Headbutt tutor at Viridian Maze, directly to the left of the maze entrance. As part of a miniquest, though, the tutor is initially blocked behind a Team Rocket grunt, so you'll need to speak with the Youngster NPC near the berry patch outside first. You'll be able to battle the grunt and learn Headbutt from the tutor for 2k afterwards.
