Are there any particular Pokemon that you have a problem with? Or is it just the total amount in general?

I've had a difficult time finding anything that I disagree with the past few days while I've been looking at spawns. I haven't found any issues with OP Pokemon spawning at a higher rate than they should. The influence of non-native Pokemon doesn't negatively affect the game play in its current state, either. You've done a great job introducing these Pokemon, and you haven't over-saturated the routes with them either. Enabling non-native spawns is one of the best features this game has to offer right now. PRO has all of the Pokemon in the game, so it would be a shame not to use them. :) Honestly I'd be worried if you switched back to native spawns because then this game could have the same "stale" feeling as the other MMOs that are out right now.

Now that's an idea I could really rally behind. I don't think it would negatively affect donations (at all) and it might actually help increase donations after the players get a taste of what they're missing. It would also serve as a means of allowing nonmembers an opportunity to get those "member exclusive" Pokémon that some people believe gives members an unfair advantage. Idk if it would be difficult to manage, or if it would be tedious to implement, but I think it would be a great idea. Anyways! I love posts like these where multiple people share their inputs in a constructive matter. Good stuff, everyone.

I think the "free entry to the park" 1 weekend per month is an excellent idea. It probably wouldn't be too difficult for the staff to edit this (remove the timer, then put it back), and it's a really simple idea that spices up the game a little bit. Something completely different: Just thinking out loud... What if the membership areas were opened up to players one weekend per month?

Welcome to the game, Shadowlake! One of the coolest things about this community is that countries from all over the globe are well represented here. I hope this game lives up to your expectations, and most importantly, that you have fun. Cya in game!

Welcome to PRO, Jose. Hopefully you'll find this game to your liking. The battle system isn't as sophisticated as the ones you can find in battle simulators, but the Staff is always working to improve this game. Make sure to take the time and read over the rules for the game (there aren't many!) https://pokemonrevolution.net/rules.php Enjoy your time here and have fun with the game. :)

Minor dialogue errors on Route 3: 1. Post-battle text. Should be "of" not "od" 2. Post-battle text. This is a recurring text with a lot of NPCs. I've noticed that some NPCs have it written correctly, and others don't. Just capitalize the C.

Pewter City: It should be "seems", not semms. Meowth moves around, but you should be able to find him in that general area.

List of Everything Missing for Testers
Pretentious replied to Pretentious's topic in General Game Talk
#fail Somehow I managed to make this post in a section of the forum which doesn't allow me to edit my original post. -
Really cool, Ekoo. I especially like the Arcanine one. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. :)

Hopefully staff won't have a problem with this thread. As I've gone through this latest testing phase, I've noticed a lot of things which SHOULD be fixed before the game is publicly released. I understand that the game will not be complete upon release, but I also feel as though it shouldn't introduce players to "useless" or "unfinished" items (such as the Powder Jar) until they're ready to go. Battle moves are a different story completely. For a long time, the staff has consistently asked players NOT to post unfinished, missing, or features which haven't been implemented in the BUG forum. Needless to say, I think these things should be reported during this testing phase to serve as a reminder. I'm creating this thread for testers to have a place to post anything "missing" that they encounter during their playthroughs without cluttering the staff's BUG threads. I was in a hurry when I threw these sections together, so feel free to post anything at all that you think is missing. Items without Descriptions/Icons: Broken Moves: Broken Abilities:

There will not be a breeding system in PRO.

You actually can get the 4th Pokeball (Pikachu). I don't like to give away spoilers, but if you really wanna know how, just PM me and I'll tell ya how.

1. Minor grammar error: Remove the letter "s" from starts and ends. It should read, "Origin Forest - Where trainers start and end their Pokemon adventure." This is the first "dialogue/sign" interaction the player can have, so you don't want it to be grammatically inaccurate. 2.Staircase Position Problem: Whenever a Player uses a staircase, they are always transported to the next map in the same position as they entered the stair case. Basically, if you walk UP a flight of stairs, you're looking DOWN the stairs on the next map since most staircases are oriented that way. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter, but it's something I notice as much as any other graphical bugs because it can be fixed. If y'all are interested in fixing this, I'll compile a list of all the locations with stairs. 3. Player is oriented the wrong way after the auto-walk from Oak's lab. I believe this is similar to the Staircase Position Problem because the auto-walk is activated when you move DOWN to exit Oak's Lab. When the player enters the player's home, he/she is facing DOWN. 4. These tiles push the player back a space. I believe this was implemented recently in order to force players to interact with the Eevee. These tiles CONTINUE to push the player back after fighting Jackson, so you might want to look into them. Also, the last image forces the player into this tree which they cannot escape. ;) 5. Minor spelling error. Received (i before e except after c) is the correct spelling.

Honestly, this is a pretty solid suggestion. I don't think the traditionalists will rally behind it, but I like your thought process here. Hypothetically, how would a player obtain this item?

You knew exactly what I meant with make vs. improve. ;) Your points all make sense if this game was a recreation of the T.V. series, but it isn't. In games, Pokemon need levels, IVs, and EVs to distinguish themselves from your opponent's team. You don't want to catch 500 of the same Pokemon. You want to catch 1 Pokemon and make it just as good as everyone else's through intense training. Okay... but look at what that does to the rest of the game. Your suggestion turns finding epic Pokemon into a time saver instead of a distinct advantage (as it should be). The importance of rarity is lessened because players only need to find 1 Dratini to get a competitive Dragonite (you can replace Dratini/Dragonite with any other Pokemon). With more avenues to "improve" Pokemon, the values of good Pokemon are diminished. I'm not trying to be difficult, but there have to be boundaries, and the current system is the best way for the game to function in a multiplayer setting.

If you're looking for a Pokémon with an unbelievable genetic makeup, then it should take an insane amount of time to find one---not make one. I understand your concern. Everyone gets frustrated when they check the PC after hunting and they don't have anything worthwhile. The failure and disappointment are what makes those times that you do catch something amazing so special. I just don't see how your suggestion is an improvement over the one in place. Having the ability to improve any Pokémon you catch to the extremes that you're wanting doesn't make sense. As others have pointed out, you already CAN make your Pokémon better through EV training. You stated that you've played Pokémon for 15 years, so I'm sure that you know that a properly trained Pokémon with lesser IVs can be more valuable than one with higher IVs and improper EV training. How is it fair to lessen the importance of IVs for the lucky people that find epic Pokémon when EV training is already in place?

Preface: These are my words. I am not a member of the PRO staff, and my opinions are not necessarily their opinions. Lately I've noticed an increased amount of negativity in the community due to players complaining about the lack of *certain* features in this game. As I begin to write this post, 7975 users have an account on the PRO forums. Some accounts are "dummy" accounts created by staff for testing purposes, some accounts are alternate accounts for staff members, but the majority of the accounts are actual players of the game. Regardless of the amount of time a player spends here, PRO is a form of entertainment. You play because you want to be entertained. Nobody is forcing you to play THIS game. In less than a year, PRO has created an amazing game almost completely from scratch. Shane has spent thousands of hours coding the game, and the rest of the staff have spent countless hours developing this game as well. While none of them can claim Pokemon as their own original idea, this game is very much their own. They've built upon the work of others and created something special. From what I gather, the goal of this project is to create the best experience possible for the players---from the vantage point of an MMO. Every decision they make regarding breeding, regions, rarity, shinies, IVs, etc. is made by considering the ways in which it will affect the game from a multiplayer standpoint. Not everything in the original games translates well into an online version. Before posting suggestions about what this game doesn't have, consider the repercussions associated with the implementation of your suggestion. Some people have introduced excellent ideas which the staff members have considered and added into the game, but oftentimes player suggestions are narrow minded or near sighted. "Rome wasn't built in a day," and neither can your all-star Pokemon team. For those that are concerned with the competitive battling aspect of PRO... Battling in PRO will be extremely competitive--just not in the sense of the phrase that you're used to. Finding and catching premier Pokemon in PRO is difficult and time consuming to say the least. The battling system is currently incomplete, and it will probably never offer the same depth that battling simulators can offer. PvP is important, but it'll take time to develop considering the nature of this game. If you want to battle with a perfect system, try one of those simulators or play your 3DS. If you want to play a truly online Pokemon game which is being developed the right way, play PRO. Hopefully the absence of these *certain* features won't keep you from playing this game. But in case they do, I'll enjoy playing with the rest of the community and the 10 additional players who have joined in the 25 minutes that I spent writing this post. Viva!

I like Carel's environment background. It does look a little cartoony, but like she said, it needs to be refined a little bit, and then it'll be awesome. :) The smaller sprites are more realistic and look cleaner. Resolution > size any day.

I actually like your logo a lot. Simple, yet it looks clean. Good work, nemo.

The more time you're hunting for shiny Pokémon and not looking for NPC, map, or general bugs, the less you're helping during this phase. I'm not just singling you out. But think about it. If they allowed people to keep things from the testing phase, why would people continue to test and try to find errors?

1. In whole, it makes finding and catching good Starters more valuable. (Good) 2. I still believe that hunting or trading should be the only way to find a good Starter if this system is implemented. (Good) 3. If you simply lowered the chances of getting a good Starter, then I think you'd actually have more people making pseudo accounts. (Bad) 4. See above. 5. This would force players to hunt and find quality Starters which is good for the economy. (Good) 6. The only problem I foresee is that the less advantageous Starters will probably be chosen less frequently than they would in the original system. (Bad) 7. You could always disable the ability to trade your Starter Pokemon. Whether you keep the IVs random, or make them all the same, this would limit the amount of players who farm Starters. With equal IVs, I still think some players would make fake accounts simply to fill their Pokedex. Disabling the ability to trade Starters would keep their overall population in check, and limit the overall amount of accounts created even more. This doesn't hurt anyone because they all can be found in the wild. Anything that y'all decide to do will be fine. Every suggestion will have pros and cons. I just don't see the point of having an IV-randomizer because this entire suggestion is meant to remove the random aspect of it.

Starter Pokemon: Originally I was all for this idea until I started thinking more about it. For Starter Pokemon to hold any economical value in this game (assuming you make them identical), you have to make sure that the ones that everyone starts with are BELOW average. I suggest 15s across the board in all stats, and all of the Starter Pokemon have neutral Natures (variety would be nice, but it has to be neutral). We don't want to make all the IVs the same for everyone only to let a good/bad nature make them different. The problem I see with this idea in general is that it makes your initial choice very easy. Why would anyone choose Charmander? You can beat Brock and Misty with Charmander, but why would you want to waste the time to train an average/below average Pokemon? Bulbasaur would become the overwhelming favorite because it allows you to advance in the game more quickly than the other choices. As many of you have pointed out, all of the Starter Pokemon are available in the wild. The handheld games make your choice important because you don't have the opportunity to catch the other two naturally. I'm all for creating a level playing field. I love that this would reduce the amount of players who would create multiple accounts until they found a great Starter. However, I don't think that this is a healthy idea for PRO. IV-Randomizer: I really, really, don't like this idea. Pokemon is a very simple game comprised of one primary aspect and a handful of secondary aspects. Hunting, finding and catching Pokemon, is the bread and butter of Pokemon. After you catch a Pokemon, you can train it, trade it, battle it, or stick it in a box forever, but it all begins by finding and catching it. Allowing players to randomize the IVs of their Pokemon gives them another chance at obtaining what they want by bypassing the primary aspect of the game. You can sugarcoat it however you like, but the sole purpose of an IV-Randomizer is to make the game easier--not to mention that it doesn't make any sense. No thanks.

I really don't see EV-reducing items having as great of an effect on the game as you're suggesting. Sure they're important in the competitive battling scene, but casual players generally don't dive that deeply into the nuances of the game. Being able to field a really strong team SHOULD take a long time, and I think PRO is setting itself up nicely in regards to the economy. Hopefully new players will ask for help & advice when it comes to trades, and hopefully those who know an awful lot about the mechanics of the game won't intentionally rip off the newbs. *cough*

This might not really be an issue at all, but I just want to make sure. Yesterday I battled Fuchsia's Gym Leader, Janine, and I didn't receive EXP or $ for my troubles. It's been a few weeks since I battled any of the other Gym Leaders, but I distinctly remember receiving EXP for defeating Brock's Gym. Has this been changed recently? Or is Janine supposed to give EXP?
