Thanks... I'm not contending what it is, I'm contending that it's in no way fair and an alternative should be created. Why can we have it for the legendary birds but not the legendary dogs? That's my point -

Bump after yet another inevitably fruitless affair, it's really not fair that I will never have any hope of catching a raikou because I'm simply at the mercy of RNG and my luck is perpetually beyond god awful. Like on a whole new level. -

Thank you for your reply, I let the eevee feint (happiness down to 250) and went to try again at love island, even taught it baby doll eyes as well as it already having charm and this time it tried to evolve to umbreon. It's now lv99 :/ hope we can get this situated as it's an expensive one (ha, hp fire)

I tried giving him a rare candy in love island but didnt have a fairy move so he tried evolving into espeon. Someone pointed out the fairy move thing so I taught him charm and went back, now when I give him rare candy nothing happens, hes now at lv98 and has max happiness. I relogged and tried again so twice he was leveled up and there was no prompt to evolve please help!

silver server Re-downloaded client twice, still login issues

I have to mash the login button profusely for up to 3 minutes to get in, it keeps scrolling through "selecting best proxy" "logging in" "connection failed" extremely rapidly. If I log out theres no chance of it working, so I have to shut down the client and start the process over. Android client btw. -
Hey just so you know I re-downloaded and I've still sort of been having the problem, I can get in it just takes a while. I mash the login and it keeps saying connection failed and I have to do this for sometimes as much as like 3 minutes before it goes through. Oh and if I log out I have to shut down the client and start all over.

For starters we just had our first one in 3 MONTHS. And by its nature it is incredibly unfair, I spend hours and hours on every one that I can and I've ever gotten ONE measly ticket, so many hours wasted failing and failing. Everyone should have equal opportunity to get legendaries. The quests to get all 3 legendary birds are (progressively) extremely difficult, but at least everyone has a chance at it. Why cant we do the same with the legendary dogs? What makes them any more special that you have to A. Wait around for months to B. Pray to RNG to BLESS you (on so many levels) C. IF you're even able to participate since it pops up randomly with no warning, and silver server just happens to knock it out very quickly. From what I've seen, most people do not enjoy the quest. It's just stressful, I could see it being the sole cause of more people quitting the game than it would attract to the game, so I dont see it as healthy for the game either. Theres really nothing good about it.

Let's be real though.. nobody is gonna do that so that argument doesnt have much bearing on reality. What its gonna be is stacking Lando, Latios, Heatran, etc. which may be a little overpowered, and I dont like seeing pokes get banned. I'd rather see us allow all these mons (including things like Darkrai) and simply enact limitations to maintain balance and mandate some degree of creativity.

I'm very excited for these new legendaries being added, and I look forward to more in the future (for the love of god lugia and ho-oh plz! lol) and I think at this point it would be a good idea to implement something that's been talked about plenty and limit ranked pvp teams to 1 legendary. I think the time is right for it because I dont wanna see something like Lando get introduced just to get banned, so I think this is way to keep it balanced. Lando is a plug and play on pretty much any team ever, so I think this is pretty much the only way we can potentially avoid him inevitably being on every. single. team. in pvp, in gen 7 ou on showdown youl will see him in 90+% of the games you play and keep in mind that is a meta where he must compete against Z-moves and megas. In this.. he will be a no-brainer play every time. And it's great we get to have nice things, but I think putting a limit on it will lead to some actual decision making and keep the meta healthy. Thoughts?

It seems like everyone's problem is with scolipede exclusively... so just ban baton pass on scolipede if anything (I know, big brain) Also ditto is the most broken mon in history, you allowed your opponent to set up and then 1 click of a button and for free you can just steal it and completely reverse all the momentum your opponent actually EARNED? There's nothing competitive about ditto, literally zero skill required. It's grade-A organic cheese, farm to table, no preservatives.

HYPE Not to press our luck, I think I can safely speak for everybody when I say we are very appreciative for this nugget of info and look forward to what's in store but will the pvp update be accompanying that or has that been put on the backburner for the time being? Id fully understand if this was simply given higher priority at the moment, probably a much more flashy feature that may attract new and inactive former players which is definitely important. After all we all want this game to thrive. Thank you for all you do!

I'm inclined to agree that if there's one knock on staff it's the minimal communication to the player base. We're told about this gigantic pvp update a lifetime ago and since then not one peep about it. The players will understand if they told us even something as vague as "sorry guys we've run into unexpected problems" or "we've had to delay development" rather than feeling like they've been ghosted. Since I can not bring myself to critique without offering a possible solution I would reccomend creating a "player relations/communications" position and employing a volunteer or two. Zero expense and tremendous benefit which the player base I'm sure would greatly appreciate.

I'm not sure if it applies to this case but some rarity tiers can be deceptive, based on what other spawns in the same area. Like if a pokemon is t7 or t8, but theres 3 t1 pokes there too (just throwing out numbers) it can sort of act as a t9 in reality. People dont usually take into account the amount of low rarity tier pokemon in the area but it can have a major impact on the high tier ones. -

From gen I think 3 or 4 up until 8 (sword and shield which was made for 5 year olds) sync has been 50% Everyone is only mentioning how it effects high tier pokes, yet on this matter you can not separate them from low tier. A fact everyone is ignoring, this would make t5 and t6 pokes way too easy mode which again would flood the market, devalue many many pokes, and radically overhaul the economy (in a fashion that would make it significantly less interesting) What's great about a pokemon game without breeding is every poke is one of a kind and good ones are not easy to find, which adds a fantastic aspect to the game and is what separates it as an MMO and not a bland pokemon simulator. -

I think 50% is fair, 60% TOPS Hunting good pokes is supposed to be hard and you flood the market and subsequently devalue them by making it easier. The storage box... we all know that thing is a top to bottom nightmare, there are many MANY things that can be done to improve it. (Make it sortable, namable folders, etc.) -
Pretty self explanatory, to remedy the annoyance of mobile users constantly having items dissapear from the hotkey box when trying to touch to use. This has become much worse recently with the new android "control". It makes sense to have a lock/unlock button for it to stop this from happening, if you wanna switch out items in your hotkeys all you have to do is unlock the bar. Otherwise you can keep it locked to keep items from being removed on accident so easily.

The baton pass rules were fine as is, people seriously are gonna argue that baton pass is OP? LMAO bring taunt/haze/roar or any variation and you win... wow how incredibly strong it is indeed. Also for the usage argument, let people use HA Blazekin and watch what happens, ever play anything goes on showdown? Hes on just about every team. Theres clearly a massive difference and it's just hyperbole to conflate the 2.

Bump please get rid of it, NOBODY likes it. Another problem I've noticed is it's now HYPER SENSITIVE to removing items from the hotkeys, 1 out of every 3 times I try to click on my mount it removes it from the bar and I have to open my bag and its INFURIATING. Also if you want to move back and forth you have to have super limited range of movement and precise movement with your thumb. Otherwise it reads the movement as diagonal and brings you to a stop. Devs are you literally trying to give us arthritis? I'm sorry but this is literally the worst feature ever introduced, it adds literally nothing and has so so many MASSIVE drawbacks. Delete.
