  1. Can't have anything nice. Let's all just fight with rattatas and sentrets.
  2. I wanna +1, 500 wins is a lot :( lol but prob no chance, and I get why. Something I've been banging the table for is simply revamping the point system. Like in the pokemon tcg for example you get 10 coins for a win, and the loser gets 1 coin for each pokemon he knocked out (so obviously a max of 5). Of course the prices of the mounts would have to go up RELATIVE to this adjustment. I'm not saying 50 wins should get you a mount. PVP in pro is tough, it's a hyper sweat fest. There should be some level of reward for putting up a good game. And it would encourage more people to play, if somebody ques up a few times and goes 0-6... they're not gonna que up for pvp anymore because they're getting absolutely NOTHING out of it, and they'll spend their time doing something more productive for themselves. You want more people in pvp? The answer is easy, make it feel worth the more casual players time.
  3. Aye devs, art team, etc... INCREDIBLE job with the special forms. I had always figured special forms would just look like a regular mega evo, they all look amazing so far. 10/10
  4. Bump cause crystal onix NEEDS to be in game, light/dark pokemon would be awesome too (as a nod to the early TCG).
  5. "Effect the economy" seems like a gross exaggeration and a knee jerk analysis. It would effectively have zero impact on anything other than (MAYBE) rerolls.... and again, with this plan their cost in pvp points would increase in ratio with points earned. Also somebody actually asked "what would be the difference between winning and losing?" congratulations on making it abundantly clear that you did not read past the first sentance. I literally couldnt have been anymore specific in outlining the stark contrast. I'm genuinely flabbergasted. *slow clap*
  6. For the most part it's just playing with numbers to accomplish the goal of giving losing players a conselation. But one that can not be exploited by just quitting and collecting. What I am proposing is how things are done in the official trading card game online. Will be using rough numbers just to illustrate this simple idea. The loser gains 1 pvp point per knockout, so obviously the max the loser can earn is 5pts. Creating a difference between a well fought game that just didnt shake out your way and getting completely ran over in a 6-0, in which case you would of course earn no points. The winner gets, idk let's just say 10 points. Now the only thing left to do is of course adjust the pvp shop items prices to balance this. Whether it be 500 or 1000 pts for a reroll (currently 150), whatever. At least people will feel like they're accomplishing/gaining something if they're being fairly competitive in losing contests. I think this would attract many more players to pvp. In an MMO time is money, you usually want to spend your time doing something that is advancing your overall worth. If someone jumps into pvp, gets in some good games but maybe catches some bad breaks and goes 0 and 4.. they're out. They're gonna go do something they view as more sustainable to build value on their character, such as bosses or any number of other things. SIDE BAR There's also the idea of pvp challenges and bounties that have been talked about before, and I think most thought were a good idea. I'm all for that as well. Again my idea for that would be derivative of the card game. Examples: -Knock out 10 pokemon with a grass* type pokemon -Knock out 5 pokemon with residual damage -Knock out 15 pokemon with (insert specific pokemon's name here) -First win of the day bonus
  7. What... dude I'm a trash pvp player and.... no. You know you can get them from doing pve bosses right? And it's actually 10000x easier. Good players are allowed to be rewarded too... and if you think getting a few rerolls will get you "staff level" legendaries.... I really have no idea where to begin. That being said, one thing I would be for is pvp bounties and challenges that reward points (as has been talked about before) and /or changing the pvp point system entirely as to where you earn a point for every KO you get in pvp. Say (rough numbers) 1pt earned per knockout for the loser in a pvp match, and 10pts for the winning player. And the cost of a reroll goes from 150pts to... idk, 500pts? Whatever would be balanced, again I'm just throwing out numbers to illustrate the idea that you get conselation rewards for being competitive despite losing, and theres actually some difference between putting up a good fight in an evenly matched contest that just didnt swing your way and getting completely whopped 6-0. That's how they do it in the trading card game and it makes for a fair reward system.
  8. Sheer force? Fine. Lando-T? Absolutely not. I know that's not what you're suggesting but I dont wanna see it get bundled in.
  9. LOL by the powers invested in me I hereby grant you -1000000000000
  10. Lmao tennis is a game. I played football for 8 years (real football, not soccer). You can literally say anything to your opponents, its full-on war out there. I understand the value of sports as well as anybody, it breeds MEN. There is nothing greater or more glorious. Also saying "I 6-0'd a noob" is FAR from "hate speech" or verbal abuse. Not even close.
  11. What good is a video game without smack talk? That video posted was hilarious. Cmon guys we cant be this fragile. Havnt you guys ever played a sport?
  12. The shiny lock I could agree with removing.
  13. Woah woah woah you mean rare pokemon are... rare?!?! *gasp* And wait did you mean 3-5 rare encounters per run? That's.. actually really really good... I'm at 2,600 points and now I'm excited to get to 3000 or whatever it is. Thanks!
  14. Womp didnt even noticed, you have beaten me fair and square sir gg lol Whatever it takes to make it happen
  15. I suggested this one a while back lol
  16. +1 Idk about rattata hairs cause that would be too easy to farm but the others, absolutely
  17. Just add an alternative to catching 2nd and 3rd legendaries, nobody enjoys the wq lol
  18. I'm trying to teach outrage to my tyrantrum, I believe this is the only way, and he only gives me option to check win streak or battle. I've beaten him tons of times it even shows an active win streak of 2. But he gives no option for tutor??
  19. I'd be fine with excavations (or any of those others) but plz god no on the world quest... that thing is beyond a NIGHTMARE for those of us who have perpetual trash luck
  20. Wild pokemon holding it might not be the best idea for the common ones like pidgeot and beedrill. I'd think the best option would either be quests (though that is more work), potential boss drops, or purchasable through pve and pvp coin shops. Think the last one prob makes the most sense.
