  1. I would increase the entrance fee to be far above 25k. Even possibly over 150k for each member. As stated in this reply, money is way too easy to farm on PRO. And you can get large quantities of money in a short time, let alone if an entire guild farms for money. This is also another approach for it, but then again, a large portion of players will still be left out. Especially Guilds who don't really PvP too often. Which only increases the thought that being in a guild is only "PVP based" and not "PvE and PvP based". That is not what a guild is supposed to be like. As I mentioned in this reply. Sure a second or third map would be an okay addition if the main problem with it being only exclusive to PvP guilds wasn't there. If It was open for everyone who is part of a Guild but had areas with additional content, which were only open to the top 10 or 15 PvP'ers on the ladder. Then maybe additional maps were a good addition, but at this point, it surely won't really benefit anyone at all. This is just constructive criticism, not trying to prove you right or wrong, just stating my humble opinions on the suggestions you put forth.
  2. I'm sorry to tell you that I'm neither a "PvE'er" or a "PvP'er", so you can't really categorize me in any of them. It should be a bigger eye-opener when someone from outside the main two groups of PRO, who also isn't part of any Guild*, is addressing the issues they spot. *Not part of any public guild. I guess my own small guild isn't really something to count in here so. If I was part of any of the two main groups, my standpoint would be one-sided and narrow-minded. But since I am neutral to both sides, but still are referring to the problems at hand, I guess you can't say I'm "narrow-minded", as what you refer every "PvEer" to be like. The main problem is the Guild System as addressed in this reply. Whether the PvP player base is waiting years for an update or not, is another case that should be brought up. I refer to the Guild system's progression, where nothing is actually happening with it. Then suddenly the guild system gets an update, but only PvP'ers can enjoy it. Okay, time to break down your reply. Okay, so as I've stated above, that's an entirely different case to be bought up. And I support the thought that more PvP content should be released, I've got nothing to say against the little development that has happened with the PvP front. But as I can see, more Legendaries/Mythical Pokemon seems to make its way to PvP to balance out the Meta, so it kind of gets small updates on a regular basis too. So it's not entirely excluded from getting minor updates every now and then, but the difference is huge between PvP and PvE updates, that's true. I can't really recall ever whining about anything, I just addressed the issue, as an outsider, who actually has a bigger view of the entire situation. The content team is not exactly adding things in the right order, IMO. Before any Guild Exclusive Island should be released, a much better Guild System should have been in place. And a lot more should have gone into the thoughts of creating a PvP Exclusive Guild Island because that's essentially what it is and should have been called. As I've also stated in this reply, I rather want content everyone can enjoy, then just a small portion of the player base. As for PvE related content, the PvPers can still take part in this without having any particular skills, unlike the other way around.
  3. Interesting guide I may add this guide to my own guide's "Additional Helpful Guides" list as a source for all evolutions on PRO. If it's okay with you? I've already done quite a few evolutions as well on mine, but I suppose I can always double-check with this guide once It's complete.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly saying that the PvP Guilds don't have a good time together in their guild, or that all of them are bad and hungry wolfs. I'm just merely pointing out the fact that the Guild Exclusive Island was a bad addition to the game, and that it caused more issues than solving any. Having set criteria for it makes it exclusive. But at the same time, it's unfair for a large portion of the player base. I would rather get content that everyone can enjoy, rather than a few PvP top ladder players. As for paying an entrance fee, sure, it can work to some extent. But then again, the whole Guild system is outdated, so what good will that do? It took a long time for something to appear in the "Manage" tab on the guild section in-game, and all it got was "Leave Guild". The entire logo creation system is outdated, the rewards for hitting certain milestones are too high, you can't promote/demote someone offline. You can't even invite someone who is offline. The entire Guild System should receive a major overhaul before things like a Guild Island is added. It doesn't benefit anyone besides a small portion of the PvP player base and it only further the case that things are being done in the wrong order. And I guess the content team needs to take a step back and re-think what they've done. And someone needs to point them in the right direction.
  5. Okay, so this reply is gonna be a bit heavy to take in. But it focuses on some of the most important things we should begin to think about. Sorry in advance if you feel like I've hit a nerve or two. But if you cannot take a minor offense, then you should stop reading right now. To first clear up in one thing: Paying to get access to the exclusive island would not make things any easier btw. It would only escalate the issue even further. As smaller guilds on the ladder would still lose players, even if it's limited to top 10 on the ladder, regardless of the small player base as mentioned above. I honestly think that the guild exclusive island is kind of a facepalm situation. A bad idea that escaped and caused mayhem. Like, where is an exclusive island for those who focus on fighting bosses and doing other PvE events? Why is PvP the only thing that matters? [spoiler=In my opinion]Its the worst thing I've seen being added to PRO by far. Tutor Heaven was a good addition as it didn't give anyone any more advantages. Besides TM tutors. But a guild island with a PvE boss that changes and wild spawns on top of all that? And a very detailed map design? That's not how it should work at all. Pokemon has never just been about PvP to begin with. In the early days of Pokemon, the only thing you did was PvE. Only the newer Gens introduced PvP and made it popular. But that doesn't mean you can entirely disband the concept of Guilds focusing more on PvE instead, whereas you can only focus on PvP to be rewarded. That's not how it should work at all. The entire guild system is kind of a facepalm situation if you look at it from a non-guild member's perspective. As stated above on the OP, it has caused a lot of issues, compared to solving any, if any at all? People leaving guilds to get into a stronger guild? Possibly stronger guilds kicking players to get more powerful PvP players to secure top 3? It has / will cause future guilds to disband / possibly scramble for powerful PvP players, and is that the development PRO really needs? Where is the fun in being in a guild then, if you cannot get rewarded for your hard work? Unless you PvP your entire guild to top 3? Do guilds really have to host giveaways, lend pokes or give out in-game items to survive from their own pockets? While people in PvP Guilds don't really need to do all that, because PRO essentially rewards that guild exclusively? But what should a guild be like then? I know my post is probably gonna be looked down at with evil murderous eyes from those top 3 guild players. Because they believe they've deserved it. But be real. Do you really think so? Well, I'll let you dwell on this while reading my point below. And then you can ask yourself again, if you really deserve the reward, compared to the counterpart guilds. Well while you're dwelling on the question above, let me tell you one thing. The amount of time you've grinded for a high PvP rank, a few 1000+ players in guilds have used the same amount of time on helping guild members fight PvE / Bosses. And yet you should be rewarded with something exclusive for your guild? And not the guild who help players out with PvE? I just can't see how that is any fair at all for the counterpart guilds, who don't focus on PvP. Or guilds that don't own the top PvP players on the ladder and can't at all even the odds. Now, ask yourself, do you still deserve the reward? If yes, you don't see the bigger picture. TL:DR: Just read it anyways
  6. You can use in addition to Wake-Up-Slap, the move Uproar to wake up the sleeping Pokemon. I found this out when I had a Rotom in my party with Uproar in 4th slot, while I still had a Pokemon with Wake-Up-Slap in my 6th slot.
  7. Update to Generation 4: Updated information on Cresselia Added a Forum Guide on how to capture Cresselia. Added a Youtube Guide on how to capture Cresselia.
  8. More skin tone options don't necessarily bring more players to PRO, as stated by someone in this thread. However, it will give people a much better and wider variety of choices for the desired skin tones they want in-game. While the majority of people seem to already be adjusted to the skin tones that exist today. And by that alone, I suppose it really isn't a huge deal if no more skin tones are added in the future.
  9. Update to Generation 1: Added Evolve criteria for every Generation 1 Pokemon, even if they already have a wild spawn. Added information regarding a Pokemon that has multiple evolve forms. (Example: Tyrogue's 3 evolve forms) Added "Spawn Locations" title above the Pokemon spawn list, to highlight it better. Added "Evolves" title, to keep it consistent with the change above. Adjusted a few titles, as some were not scaled properly while others were not color-coded at all. Fixed up in some minor detailing issues on some Pokemon, where a section should come before another. Visual cleanup and other miscellaneous cleanups. Do note that only Generation 1 has been given the updates above, the other Generations will follow soon. If you spot a Pokemon in Generation 1 that has not received an Evolve criteria and that should have one. Feel free to reply to this thread or PM me and I'll fix up in it.
  10. Bulk Update to all Pokemon sprites: Removed all Pokemon sprites Now more performance-friendly for everyone Faster thread loading time. No issues with images not loading in on other browsers, due to safety settings. No more weird spaces in a spoiler, due to sprite not loading in. Also added Changelog, so you can directly jump to any of these changelogs and read about them! The reason why I removed the sprites: I've been monitoring this thread regarding the loading performance. And I've done a few "benchmark tests" of sorts. And in the end, the loading time had decreased tremendously when I removed the animated Pokemon sprites. Compared to when they were added. Or if I added them as an attachment, I tried around 4 or 5 max, it would still take around a second or two less then from the external site. The main issue with the sprites loading time was the external site I loaded them in from, being the raw link on their site. I was thinking of maybe saving them locally and adding them in as attachments. But I believe there is an attachment limit for each post, which may limit how many I can show (but I haven't tested that yet) Maybe I'll add them back in the future if there is a less performance heavy solution I can use.
  11. Bulk Update to all Generations: Added all abandoned Pokeball drops location to every Pokemon that has one. Kind of tried to recreate the sprite version on PRO's Wiki, which is so small that it looks poorly on this forum post. At least in my opinion. Includes links to important locations, which have documentation. [*]Added a few NPC's you can trade a Pokemon with to gain a Pokemon. (Also includes if the Pokemon is holding anything) [*]Pokemon rewards during the storyline (Example the Eevee rescue questline in Celadon City) [*]Re-designed the overall layout for Pokemon. Should now follow the same pattern, more or likely. Just to keep the pattern consistent. [*]Any Pokemon you can fight and capture during the Storyline is now also added information on. (Such as Snorlax or Sudowoodo)
  12. Bulk Update for all Generations: Added new Banner designs. New Animated Index Banner. Now showcasing the megathread's features. New Banner designs for each Generation. Now includes the dex number range. [*]Added all Honey Tree Spawns. Added the sprite of the in-game Honey Tree. Added which stage the Pokemon belongs in. Added which Honey Tree type chain the Pokemon is in. Added an in-depth information section on Honey Trees for each Pokemon. Added locations of each Honey Tree type. Added a useful guide and a youtube video explaining Honey Trees. [*]Added remaining information on Battle Tower All Legendaries and Mythical Pokemon that you can obtain the seen data on are fully covered. Which Pokemon set that Cynthia has, which includes a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon. I also confirmed the fact from @stavd regarding Tornadus.'s appearance during the Battle Towers. [*]Cleaned up the layout + Other miscellaneous changes Removed whitespaces. Fixed up in BBCodes which could be shortened down Fixed up in BBCodes which had a duplicate of the same setting applied to the same line. Corrected a few spelling mistakes here and there. Included spoilers for "F.A.Q" and "What is included for a Pokemon" to shorten the index post length. Removed and adjusted some information on the index post. Removed the useless useful "some stuff that will blow your mind or not" section to shorten the length. Cleaned up in the Credit section. Adjusted a lot of title sizes to make them stand out more if they are important. Added more colors where they were needed. There are most likely a few more changes I've done, but have simply forgotten to include due to the fact it can take between 1 and 2 days to update this thread. Should there be anything else you find that has changed and isn't mentioned in this changelog or in any of the other changelogs, feel free to tell me.
  13. Indeed it's an MMO game. But wasting 15 hours on nothing. That isn't an MMO game I consider a good game. If people actually did the WQ, instead of a small handful of people, at least we who did the hard work would get rewarded. But they consider the prize as too low value compared to a special outbreak, and those who submit less than 1% just gives up because they gain nothing. And those who ditched the WQ for the Outbreak could still have done the WQ with a lot of time left to hunt the special outbreak Pawniard. And on top of all that, the set percentages are quite high in regards to the rewards. If I was to adjust it accordingly, I'd decide on a random prize pool with a variety of high valued items. Such as PvE items, PvP items, Shiny Pokemon, Alolan Pokemon, Event sprite Pokemon, 1 CC, MS, etc for every 0,5 percentage (or 1 percentage) of contribution after 1%. And if the Mystery ticket is such a high valued item, then have it on 2% contribution, and another at 4 or 6%. But that's just my humble opinion on the subject. And for those who use repel trick on pokes. Just drop the overall spawn level of the WQ Pokemon in those spawn areas to be below the lowest.
  14. I think those who disagree don't understand how long it takes just to get 3% on a WQ with over 100K IVs. I spent around 14-15 hours online yesterday and only got up to 2,4% percentage in the end. If I was lucky, I met a Skiddo every 45 minutes and if I was really unlucky, up to 2 hours between each. And the fact the IVs where trash on top of all that, is even worse. I think a fair compensation for those who got at least 2,5% or above should be rewarded nonetheless of the completion of the World Quest. The fair amount of time I put in on my first WQ yesterday, was a waste of time in the end, because of the special outbreak also taking place in the midst of things. I could have done other productive things, but I wanted to try out the WQ for the first time and it saddens me to see people ditching the WQ, because of the reward not being better than a special outbreak and because of that, all my 14-15 hours invested was nothing but an unproductive time-space.
  15. Bulk update to all the Fossil Pokemon Added an F.A.Q section to the Index post, to help answer some common questions one might have. Complete coverage of all Fossil Pokemon Which Fossil they can be revived from Fossil Image Where you can revive that specific Fossil Digable Patches that can drop the specific Fossil Rarity tier Map names with a link to the map Maps with no documentation have been fully described and showcased. [*]If a Boss drops either the specific fossil or rewards the Pokemon [*]Any other obtainable ways (such as story quest, events, daily challenges, a random NPC, etc) [*]If it's buyable with PokeDollars. [*]Buy the Fossil from the Artifact Maniac Hastor for Artifact Pieces. [*]A few useful links to helpful guides. [*]Switched from external URL to Attachment on some banners. Because it didn't load the image properly when shown on other browsers besides Google Chrome. [*]And a few more things I forgot I did but is now also added somewhere, sometime, during something I did yesterday. OwO Best visual change: For the best example of the changes, see #698 Amaura or see before and after comparison images. The after picture is zoomed out to fit all content inside. Before this update, it was completely empty, now it has full coverage with all information that I could possibly "dig" up.
  16. Thank you! I'll be sure to add this information as a side note for Tornadus. I haven't really touched on the Battle Tower yet. Mainly because I currently have nobody who knows all the Legendaries/Mythical Pokemon who shows up there.
  17. A bulk update to all generations: Corrected A TON of spelling mistakes, and simple grammatic errors. More compact layout. No extra space between each spoiler. Fixed some broken BBCodes. Since I've manually written every code outside the editor. I don't have the luxury of a live preview. Added some colors. Added additional information on SEVERAL Pokemon: All Daycare Pokemon's that you can cure. Which tier the Pokemon is in. A link to the Doctor Pokemon Quest Guide by @Fluffles. [*]All Excavation Pokemon spawns: Rarity Total Discoveries you need in order to encounter it Which Excavation site it can be found on. A hyperlink to a Guide that explains Excavation [*]Added Minibosses section to Legendaries, for those who have one. It serves as another method of getting their seen and caught data. [*]Added Fossils info. [*]Added new hyperlinks and guide links to some Pokemon. [*]Added new information to some legendaries [*]Removed some information on Legendaries. [*]Fixed up in two Sprites: Hydreigon's sprite had a weird pixel on its animation. Switched to a better Sprite. (Still animated) Vivillon's sprite was not matching the same as the one used on PRO. It's now showing the correct Sprite. [*]Added a few new hyperlinks to relevant Guides to the Additional Helpful Guides section. [*]Reduced the banner Images file size. To resolve an issue where they would not show up when loading the page. [*]And a lot more... A huge thanks to ShinyCelebi for helping out with all these changes!

  24. - This guide has been removed. For all those who still follow this guide or have used it in the past and sees this. I have made a new and much more updated guide here. It has all 7 generations of Pokemon (with Generation 8 ready to be posted once PRO released that) added. With a few exceptions of some still being partially finished, due to not being a capturable Pokemon in PRO or is not coded into the game yet. I can guarntee that it will stay for as long as PRO forums is around. After a talk with staff a year ago, I decided to take some time off and improve on my older one. And then eventually post it again, a year later its now posted. Hope people will continue to use it. And I'm so sorry that I removed it a year ago for those who used it actively.
