I suggest adding "mega" mounts such as :

 

Pidgeot-Mega

Altaria-Mega

Salamence-Mega

Charizard-Mega (both forms)

Lati@s-Mega

 

(I only typed "flying" mounts but grounded megas would be super cool too)

I'm sure adding one "mega mount" per month could be a great idea :-)

    I would find a spider mount like Galvantula or Ariados pretty cool.

    Mega Salamance, Mega Rayquaza.

    Pokèmon mounts with wings should be able to "fly" over water they have wings after all :PikaLurk:
