Did you ever had a shiny moment, where you wish it never appeared? 

 

I HAD THIS MOMENT A FEW SECONDS AGO! 

 

I hate this game so much since then. 

Yesterday I found a shiny zubat on my second acc and truly got surprised. 

I was glad that it happened and caught it in digletts cave. 

 

When I trained my pokemons in the ev zone, a shiny pidgeot appeared. 

I always wanted to have a shiny pidgeot and smiled the entire time. 

 

When did they ban catching pokemons in the ev zone? 

 

I even wanted to use my masterball, BUT NOT A SINGLE ONE WAS ABLE TO CATCH IT. 

 

This is ridiculous. 

The rate of a shiny appearing is so rare and when it's happening PRO is seriously saying I can't catch it? 

Are you guys serious? Please change it ty. 

 

If there is way to get this shiny back, please help me. I got unmotivated, tired and disappointed. 

 

The pain is undescibable and my day is ruined. 

I do not wish people getting the same experience as I did. 

I just want to get my shiny pidgeot back... 

 

EV zones are supposed to be shiny locked so you shouldnt be able to encounter a shiny there in the first place. Its just a current bug which will be fixed soon. It was a recent change done on purpose. When they made pokeballs unusable in the EV zones, they made shinies un-encounterable as well.

You arent supposed to use pokeballs there and you arent supposed to encounter shinies there.

Unfortunately there is no way to get that encounter back either.

Before I start, I want to say that I am sorry that you had to go through this horrendous teasing experience, and I can ensure that you aren't the first one, nor the last one to experience this bug.

 

To be blunt, there is sadly no way retrieve that shiny Pidgeot, because that is just how PRO works, irrc they don't have the tools for it and it would be unfair for all the others who have gone through the same experience in the past. And even if they did, the area is designed to be a non-catchable zone, so it wouldn't make much sense IMO.

 

Furthermore, the main reason I gave this suggestion a -1 is that your suggestion allows people to catch Pokemon, regardless of their shiny/event counterpart, which will/can be abused. Not to say that it is a bad suggestion, rather the opposite. But because the area is used for EV training, there is no real need to be able to catch the Pokemon you want to defeat for EV points. And some spawns are rather "attractive" and thus a non-catching zone is the best viable option for the area.

that sucks man. terrible feeling. you can have my shiny pidgeot, if you want, if you're on gold. I caught it from ev zone a long time ago
