I love the idea. and it's fair enough, I dont mind getting an unusable pokemon at the moment as long as I have secured it as my own.

not only does the current mechanic hurts the trading, but also the hunting experience as well.

from experience, after finishing hoenn, I discouraged myself to hunt more in that new region because im thinking a good pokemon will be able to sell easily if its from the previous two regions.
