I destroyed his substitute, but when ditto entered battle he wasn't able to copy it, because it "wasn't destroyed" until the turn ended. I would like to know if it is a bug or not, because this directly affects my strategy with ditto.

To reacquire the Pokedex Data for any Legendary that you own, you can interact with the PC in the Professor's Lab in each region (Professor Oak, Elm, Birch, and Rowan). These Labs can be found in the following Towns: Kanto - Pallet Town Johto - New Bark Town Hoenn - Littleroot Town Sinnoh - Sandgem Town Can you try speak with the PC in any of these labs and let me know if this fixes your issue?
