  1. I don't think this thread is supposed to be in this subforum considering this seems more like a "what-if" for the official games, but I'll leave that to the staffs, they're the ones who can move threads anyway xD To be honest, if there's anything I want to change the most, it's some of the signature moves, and the type of some Pokemon that should have been changed into Fairy. For the former, Mist Ball and Luster Purge should both gets higher PP, and much higher base power. As they are right now, they are inferior to the much more common Psychic and even Psyshock. Which doesn't make any sense considering Mist Ball and Luster Purge are the signature moves of two legendaries. Relic Song, the signature move of another legendary, also needs either a base power boost, or increase the chance to make the target fell asleep. For the latter, Celebi, Mesprit's trio, and Cresselia all should have their Psychic type changed into Fairy. Also, Lumineon should have been Water/Bug, to make it stand out. As it is right now, it's a really mediocre Water-type special attacker that has nothing really special going on for it. A Water-type with STAB Silver Wind would at least make it unique. As for stat changes, there are several Pokemon that were not at their full potential due to bad mix of stats and movepool. Sceptile (along with its Mega) and Ledian are two examples of Pokemon who should have gotten much higher Attack stat than SpAtk stat, as their design and movepool clearly indicates a physical attacker, not a special attacker. On the other side, there's Gyarados who is a physical Pokemon but learns a lot of Special moves. At least its Mega should have been a Special attacker instead, to give variety in how Gyarados is used. Unfezant would have been something different than any other regional early route bird had it stats allow it to become a mixed attacker, allowing it to use its access to Heat Wave more effectively. Beheyeem is nothing special, being completely overshadowed by Reuniclus which was introduced in the same region. They have the same movepool & type, they have the same playstyle (both are special attacker meant to be used under Trick Room), but Beheyeem is obtained long after you have access to Solosis. As a result, there's no point in catching and training an Elgyem when by the time you see one, you might already have a Duosion soon ready to become a Reuniclus. What should be done to remedy the problem, is making Beheeyem a mixed attacker instead, giving it Attack stat equal to its SpAtk stat. In terms of movepool, some Pokemon needs easier access to their STAB move. Magikarp and Gyarados (at least Gyarados) should be able to learn Bounce via level-up, while Houndour and Houndoom should be able to learn Dark Pulse or at least Snarl via level-up. Jumpluff should have gotten Gust and Hurricane via level-up just like its equally cotton-based cousin Whimsicott, while Diancie should have gotten Power Gem and Play Rough via level-up.
  2. I think it's nothing, just a reminder to the rules.
  3. Very Rare, if I recall correctly.
  4. Dog stone no longer needs 1k hours, I think 700 will do. Ho-Oh, if I recall correctly, is supposed to be battle-able as soon as the three dogs are defeated, no hour requirement needed.
  5. Or you can be like me and level up all the way to 100, without using Rare Candies, because the amount of money you got from the battles is just lovely xD
  6. In the official games there are two modes in Option, "Shift" which allows switching after defeating a Pokemon, and "Set" which doesn't allow switching. Usually, the default is "Shift". PRO however, is always on "Set" mode as part of the increased difficulty compared to the official games.
  7. Your Diglett and Aipom are crazy good - but the problem is that they are a common Pokemon, those usually don't really go for much just because they're common, despite having crazy good stats and nature. Maybe if someone is thinking about training one up, and is desperate to find a really good one, you can sell the Diglett/Aipom for a really good price. Especially for MS. Some players actually want MS price to keep increasing instead of being stable. Yet when they need MS and someone sell MS for a lower price they immediately buy them. With such a useful item as MS, it is better to keep the price stable at around 150k......makes it easier for everyone to sell AND buy. It benefits everyone.
  8. 1. FINALLY, someone who bother pointing out with screenshot WHERE the hell is the access point to "Private Resort" area. I've been wondering about it ever since before the Halloween event last year. No one I asked ever gave a clear pointer, the most they ever say is just "a stone on the upper right area of love island". 2. The "Trainer Valley Cave" might be the area that a staff mentioned before (Deathwing, I think?), there's supposed to be a cave that connects with the currently closed cave next to Bill's house, that allows quick exit from Trainer Valley. The "Trainer Valley Stop" area has a sparkling cave entrance access point blocked by a big tree, I'm willing to bet that's the entrance to Trainer Valley Cave, which will have an exit that leads to the outside of the currently closed cave next to Bill's house. If the area is now showing on Woobat's dex entry, that means we're getting it soon. 3. The "Pitch Black Cave" area is a curious one - it has two sparkling access points above connected by a bridge, but no way to reach them. The sparkles imply those access points work, I wonder where they connect to? Also, I find it hilarious that a cave called "Pitch Black" is actually really bright, and even has lampposts in it XD 4. I also wonder when "Diamond Domain Main Cave" area, "Valencia Island" area, and "Fishing Staff" area will be available......they've been mentioned in Dex entries for months, in fact they're already there even when the server's player limit is just around 600. The only reason I can think of for why access to them are still not available yet, is because they're planning to put quests or NPC battles in there, that are not scripted yet because they haven't got the chance to do it. Personally I think they should make the areas available anyway for now, won't be the first time an area available to players got NPCs added to it later on. Just look at Route 26 & 27. 5. IMO they have to do something eventually with the GTS building in Goldenrod and the "Battle Tower" area  Maybe the GTS building is where the Auction House will eventually be? While the Battle Tower area might eventually be the Mt. Battle that Arnie would like to do. That's my guess, anyway.
  9. Ledian is just one of many Johto pokes deemed as mediocre by many more competitive players - it's a problem suffered by a lot of Johto pokes. Nevermind their stats, the Pokemon themselves are also often forgettable. But Ledian's problem is made even worse by the fact that GF pushed it to become a physical attacker with those moves and hidden ability, without fixing its horrible Attack stat. And Bug/Flying has never been a good type combination for a wall. Honestly, what Ledian needs isn't better physical moves, it has some already (though we still need to wait for the TM for Acrobatics or Aerial Ace in PRO......) What it needs is a much better Attack stat. Also, I believe it's kinda too much work for PRO staff to boost those moves it learns without affecting other pokes who learn the same moves.
  10. If you just want to avoid the queue on a full server, then everyone who are also logging in will flock to the less full server too, and then that server will be full as well. Then what's the point if it ends with a full server as well anyway? At some point you'll have to be on the queue either way. Remember, this game has roughly more than 4000 players, but there are only 1800 slots x 2 servers = 3600 slots in total. That might be a lag on your connection, I personally never have any problem when talking to NPC. As already mentioned, that was intended to make the game harder as you don't know the level of the Pokemon you're up against. If the Gym Trainers have their level shown, you could approximate the level of the Gym Leader's Pokemon since the level is never too far from the Gym Trainers' Pokemon. That is not what the staffs want to happen.
  11. It's most likely Refrigerate, but unless a staff confirmed it, we won't know for sure.....
  12. There was a player-made Rating channel before, but it no longer exist because it is rare to see people asking for a rate, and nobody bother waiting for some time there until there's one people asking a rate. Looking at the All & Help channel, there's definitely a large amount of players asking for a rate, yet the Rating channel is deserted. Why? Well, in my opinion the real problem is definitely not the lack of people asking for a rate, it's the fact that those people don't know the channel exist, since it wasn't a default channel. If the Rating channel was a default channel like All & Help, then maybe it won't be as deserted as it was........

  14. Ah yeah, those are the ones not fixed yet. Hopefully Mawile will get Play Rough soon......
  15. Is it planned to be ingame in the future? :thanks: I really want to know about this as well, especially for Raikou, who would really appreciate having Aura Sphere for coverage....... Victini, when it is available later on, would also appreciate having access to Bolt Strike and Glaciate.
  16. Why are you quoting my old post xD A few of the things in that post are even fixed already, such as Sandile line missing Intimidate and Venipede line missing Speed Boost
  17. As Pretentious said, you need to defeat Boss Lance. The guide for Lance didn't mention you have to defeat the sleepy Dragonite as well to gain access to Lance though. The guide for sleepy Dragonite can be found on the bottom most of the list, which on the other hand, does mention that defeating it gives you access to Lance.
  18. Re: Catch Celebi - The Chrono Traveler [Celebi Quest Part 1+2+3+Final)] <r><QUOTE author="thekillerjp"><s> </e></QUOTE> Might be the playtime. Even Mew quest requires more than 320 hours, iirc.<br/> <br/> They did reduce the required playtime (it used to be 1000 hours!), but I don't know what's the new required playtime......</r>
  19. sylveon is obtainable via headbutting in Unknown Place, but Eevee can't evolve to Sylveon yet.
  20. "/on" also works to check the number of players online, you don't have to fully type "/online". True. As well as a command to check how much time left for our Membership, it's a bit annoying having to log into the main site just to check that.
  21. Re: Ingame BOSS [NEW BOSS JESSIE AND JAMES !!] <t>Originally you could battle them without taking Pikachu even if you don't start with Pikachu.<br/> <br/> It has been fixed some time ago so that you must take Pikachu if you don't start with it.<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> Also, Arnie, couldn't you edit leekhoasoo's post to fix the Jessie/James mistake? I'm sure he wouldn't mind a staff fixing a mistake in his guide.......</t>
  22. Looks like it may come to PRO after all, if Arnie's post is any indication xD
  23. Re: Ingame BOSS [NEW BOSS JESSIE AND JAMES !!] <r><QUOTE author="shay3100"><s> </e></QUOTE> Thanks for the offer, but I already have a Pika I want to train, besides, it's still 2 weeks before I can fight Jessie again :D</r>
  24. Re: Ingame BOSS [NEW BOSS JESSIE AND JAMES !!] <r><QUOTE author="Arnie"><s> </e></QUOTE> That's great to hear :D<br/> <br/> <br/> Though the not so great part is that the supposed requirement means I now have to train a Pikachu <E></E></r>
  25. They've said before that all Pokemon will eventually have their level-up move list updated. Currently, only Gen 1 pokes have been updated, they haven't update the level-up move list of all Pokemon from Gen 2-6. They still have their Gen 4 level-up move list instead, except for Gen 6 pokes who have their Gen 6 level-up move list minus the new moves introduced in Gen 5 and 6. Apart from Flabebe for whatever reason, none of the Fairy-type outside Kanto Dex have their Fairy move. Lots of Pokemon are also missing some moves introduced in Gen 5 and 6, such as Sawsbuck missing Horn Leech and Lanturn not having access to Eerie Impulse yet.
