denied Pls do something with this bosses new system
G3n3r4l replied to Aaakkktttoooppp's topic in Suggestions
It's called getting luckier Species clause is logical to have, it makes sense to not be able to use the same poke more than once on a team. Adding onto the fact that it's called hard mode. You can still do bosses on easy, if you want to use 5 sharpedos. Disable strategy was basically a bug. NPCs, just like players, should know how to switch moves when one gets disabled, it's logical. I can say almost certainly that everyone's figured out the next way to quickly beat bosses, all it requires is one move being coded. You're also somewhat directly insulting yourself here, by calling yourself brainless, if you needed this strategy to win then it's understandable that you'd be upset about the change to make bosses more difficult, but there are means to beat them. Thanos snapped his fingers and killed half the universe, the avengers still managed to win, he could've killed literally everyone again, if that's not unfair idk what would be. Staff made the bosses hard, but players were still able to beat it, they made it harder again, and once more, players won, rinse and repeat. Accuracy doesn't pass in PRO, it's also bugged, it's been like this for a while, also, why aren't you using someone with mold breaker, or at least a focus sash, mega gyarados, pangoro, anyone. Idk if that englishes well, but there's still methods to beat bosses simply, you just need to know them. Overall, sure, i think hard bosses are in fact hard, i don't think it's unplayable, but it's pokemon, it does generally come down to luck, you need to have it to do well, but this is also a fan made game with staff who're giving large parts of their time to help improve the game. Besides, there are always other means to make money. As Walross said, hard bosses should take time. If you beat it in 90 seconds, it clearly wasn't hard at all. There will reach a point where hard bosses are hard enough that they'll take a long time to beat, but will still be beatable, it won't be in a 30 second method like you want, but winning is winning. Doesn't matter if its the first time your team wins the World Series in 1992, or the 200th time you beat the same boss in a virtual fan made pokemon game, a win's a win, and you still get rewarded. -

NUMBER OF SUPER REPELS NEEDED TO ENCOUNTER RARE POKEMONS
G3n3r4l replied to Tom8ohsauce's topic in General Game Talk
Well charmander and bulbasaur don't have repels as they are starter pokemon. The whole concept of hunting pokemon is based entirely around RNG, which means Random Number Generator. Which basically means that it's entirely random. It could take you two repels, it could take you two hundred repels, it's just random, you generally get an encounter every few repels, but again, entirely random. You'll get some people telling you that the system is bad and it's rigged, and those people are just upset that they found nothing while others found more when they'd done less -

why tech scizor with curse banned in pvp but mega not?
G3n3r4l replied to Rhev's topic in Suggestions
Not unreasonable, it follows the originals, H.A with curse is allowed, without H.A it's illegal. It's more logical if anything. And besides, more often than not, the scizor you'd end up using won't be H.A anyways, so won't be curse, it's just harder to get H.A for it -
I think 3-4 months is a good balance for Ranked OU as it would give enough players time to amass a quantity of pokemon from that category, and to practice using them too. However i don't like switching between LC and AG for randoms, i think a separate queue for it could be nice, which may or may not happen, however completely swapping i don't like, as LC i find is very repetitive in terms of pokemon and strategies, and i just dislike it personally.

denied Pvp ladder for unrelated and different guilds
G3n3r4l replied to Gatso's topic in Suggestions
none? because it's impossible, because you can only be in one guild. Yes, because certain guilds have good reputations, and strong pvp capabilities, and other players that are also good want to get in on that. Space can be made, problem is, reputation. A new guild has none, while top tier pvp guilds such as RevenanT, Renaissance, Empire, Predators, Ascension, and many more already have a solid reputation, and they'll use that to keep getting good players. New guilds don't have the same benefits, so they have to work more at getting up there. Well, if the people are good, then they stay. Simple as that. You can't just force someone to be worse because you want them to be. A guild will remain good until the players in the guild no longer want to be. You can't force a change in that. I might've misunderstood your general point so if you'd care to clarify though it would be appreciated. What i've understood is that you want there to be more diversity in top guilds in ladder. -

Yes and while we're at it let's unban more pokes to ruin the meta. Anyways, there are many ways to counter stall already in the game. The simple move of "Taunt" already does a great job at handling it. Main concern here, is that you say this: The whole point is to find the turn, if you make a dumb switch in, obviously you'll have problems. If you bring blaziken in on a ferrothorn for example, what's he gonna do against it other than switch out. Which directly gives you that one turn. +2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Swampert: 313-369 (91.7 - 108.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO +2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Swampert-Mega: 265-312 (77.7 - 91.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (any type of chip and it's dead) +2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Landorus-Therian: 315-371 (98.7 - 116.3%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO +2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Houndoom-Mega: 157-185 (53.9 - 63.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO The only accurate one you listed there is houndoom, however, nobody plays houndoom. I'm just reading this now with this quote here makes me directly assume you know little for PvP in itself and rather just hate stall in it. Mega Mawile was directly banned for being too powerful in the Gen 6 metagame, there are multiple threads you can find about it in detail on smogon, here's on listed for you that you can read over and understand why it was properly banned in gen 6: https://www.smogon.com/smog/issue37/mega-mawile
