  1. Not while hunting no, you just need them to give to the ranger in order to go to the area and hunt. Pink pokemon are quite rare at 1/2048, so it's not unlikely for you to go days without seeing one. If you're unclear of where you should be hunting, you need to pay the ranger 5k to get into the area, then all the pokemon in there have the 1/2048 chance. Good luck finding pinks!
  2. And where you found a Escape Rope at Pallet Town ? Oh. I misread and thought he meant by Oak in Cinnabar. My bad.
  3. if you have an escape rope that should work. Otherwise a staff will try to help you as soon as possible.

  6. When you pick up the Revive(s) you can go down farther than you probably are intended to.
  7. I like the idea of a monthly/weekly challenge. Daily events are nice and give you day to day stuff to do, but some days I don't always want to do it. its' repetitive. Adding a weekly challenge gives enough variety to change things up. A monthly challenge gives just another thing to do. Something like - hunt for the best possible Happiny (some decent tier 6+ poke). Calculate points based on IVs and nature or h/a. Pokemon ID number has to be over 21,000,000 or whatever number we're at. Winner gets a shiny version of that pokemon. It's not hard for staff to generate a shiny pokemon. Gives long time people something to farm when theyve got nothing to do. I think Bug Catching is fine. 25k is a good reward that you can get every 24 hours. If you buy the monthly travel pass and win 12 days, its totally paid for. that leaves up to 19 days where every other result is pure profit. Then you've got travel pass to go to dig sites, do all the good headbutts, and so on. Agree for the most part on everything else. Implementing moves and pokes that aren't properly in should be priority 1, as far as im concerned. Why is basculin not in game? It's largely useless lol. Same with Cryogonal. I know it's in snowpoint temple, but still.
  8. Sinnoh is no different difficulty wise compared to Kanto or Johto, at least in my opinion. Speaking as someone who has made a second account and just re did all the stories, they're all fairly relative. Kanto felt insane because you tried to do a balanced team, evolved things earlier, and like you said, you didn't know as much about the game. Bulbasaur and Sandshrew can literally carry you to e4 in kanto, and a gengar will sweep the e4. It can be done in a couple hours. Piplup carries through Sinnoh in the same way. The one thing I will agree with is that having access to HMs and other TMs to give your starters in other regions does make the process significantly faster.
  9. This would be nice. Then lower guilds can see how close they are and provide motivation to get up the ladder. +1
  10. The issue comes down to how PRO calculates damage (I think), as you can see by the damage calculation I have generated here: For the sake of this example, I had to use the move giga drain (Showdown won't let me use absorb) which is almost 4x as powerful as Absorb. I also calculated it in the best possible scenario for your Oddish (+SpAtk nature with 31 Sp. Atk IVS) and worst possible for the Golbat (-spdef nature, 1 iv in both spdef and HP). As you can see, with a move that is almost 4x stronger, Oddish is still only doing 0.7% of Golbats life, in the best possible scenario. Based on your video, Oddish did less than 0.5% damage (due to using a weaker move, and likely better IVs/nature), and as a result, the damage rounded down to zero. This is different (and maybe it is intended, I don't know) than the original games where it is impossible to do less than 1 one damage, other than using False Swipe on a Pokemon with 1 health.
  11. misspelling of "excellent".
  12. Its honestly a disservice to the players that there hasn't been a mount created in its honor. It's only a matter of time before staff will feel the repercussions of their actions...
  13. As Warden said, PokeOne is an entirely different thing. It has nothing to do with PRO. When the time comes, I'm sure some staff may be given the opportunity to move to it, but many won't. PRO has its own content creators and will exist as long as staff are around to maintain it. If you are worried about the game dying out, it won't happen.
  14. Staff won't be able to restore your item, as items lost in rollbacks/crashes/log outs can't be restored. If you're teaching your pokemon a move, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use one more click to teach the move you're trying to teach? Something to remember for the future :) I was able to replicate your situation, and since you clicked on your Nidoking, the server reads it as you have taught the move to your pokemon. You can hit cancel and it won't consume your TM, but if you leave it open the server logs off and considers it as you teaching the move to your pokemon, even though its hasn't replaced another move. That's just how the game is coded, unfortunately. Good luck in the future.
  15. I didn't know that the herbs didn't work properly. Interesting. Neat guide! :y:
  16. You are encouraged to advertise when you stream! Here is the correct subforum to do so ---> YouTube & Livestreams. Good luck with your stream.
  17. There are many daily rewards that already exist in game. You don't get them just for logging in though. -Catching pokemon from the Task Master in Celadon gets you a selection of items daily, and a free shiny poke after 50 quests -Dig spots are basically free money that are up every 3 days and are accessible within a couple hours of playtime. -Officer Jenny in Pewter and Viridian has basic tasks for newbies to do for tons of easy cash. If you have gotten to 30 days of still needing rewards, you should realistically have gotten through a couple of regions and have access to bug catching. Its the easiest (luck based) 25k and rare item/pokemon you can get daily.
  18. I assume you're being sarcastic? The point of this forum is to submit mapping bugs. This is a mapping bug, whether it's playable or not.
  19. New map looks good. This is just uneven.
  20. The PRO story kind of does whatever wants. I don't think it'll be changed, but good for reporting it. For what its worth, you had to face a Pikachu with a made up move (MegaVolt) to get to the point in the game you're at, lol.

  23. Pirate is a great idea for a skin. Vanity item suggestions are always appreciated :y:
  24. Though I would also like this, there's no way to access the items in your backpack without still using a mouse click/tap. If you could somehow use the d-pad on your controller to highlight each item and scroll through the menu, then this implication would totally be worth it. Just like the map, you can't see anything without hovering over the route/city you want to look at. If you haven't already, you can drag your most common items (land/surf mount, leppa berries, potion, repel, escape rope) to your 6 hotkeys in the bottom left. Then you can bind the numbers 1-6 to controller buttons (for me, 1 - right bumper, 2 = right trigger, 3 left trigger, 4 = left bumper, etc) I find that six hotkeys are generally enough for me. It's easy enough to switch out items as you need as well.
