i usually use a fast lead with phasing/entry hazard/status locking moves, such as electrode, or greninja. Hazard setting is quite good, as many teams do not run a rapid spinner. so having a forretress or ferrothorn as a wall start is a good bet. nearly nobody leads with a fire type.

Yes, but NPCs that go invisible can't be read, they effectively don't exist, unlike others that don't go invisible, for example Boss NPCs (which display a cooldown time anyway) So, like i said it is impossible, or at the very least highly improbable.

that was fixed. also, just means you aren't Johto Champion. Johto Champions trigger the other part of the script, which bypasses that error.

The gane is supposed to be challenging and difficult. and the E4 is supposed to be hard. We don't hold your hands like nintendo does. you have to use skill to beat these NPCs. Boss Battles are supposed to be near-unbeatable...that is the whole point of them.
