Encounter rates and percentages are not released, so the information you were given is likely incorrect. During the current clone Pokemon event, there's a 5% chance to encounter a cloned starter version from the Kanto starters you encounter - not a 5% chance overall to encounter a Kanto starter, or a clone starter. Hopefully that clears things up. Topic moved to proper forum.

Unfortunately, as the event has already started, the clone Pikachu starter likely won't be implemented this time. Moreover, as other users have already commented, the visual differences would be pretty hard to recognize in the clone Pikachu. The sync as you know has a 50% chance of working. The poke that has the ability shouldn't have anything to do with how well it works. Please be sure to read through the rules in the future. There are several other moves/abilities/etc that are considered both bugged and bannable - always keep up-to-date on the PvP Rules so that you're aware of what not to do when playing a ranked PvP match. Yes, you should see a message at the bottom of the screen that tells you the username is already in use, like so: If you try again with another username, you should be able to receive the email properly this time. Make sure to scroll all the way down the page to check that you were able to register the IGN successfully, as the "username already in use" message can be easy to miss. Hi there. We have users from timezones all over the world playing, so the amount of players on the server / in queue at any given time is hard to pinpoint precisely. However, generally speaking, it seems that the queue is lowest around 8-11 AM GMT. Hope that helps! Hi there. Other users who have experienced similar error messages have reported that the DirectX 9 solution in this thread has fixed the issue for them. Try it out and let me know how it goes.

Next time, please be more careful when you're going through your PC and releasing Pokemon. If you notice there's server lag, that just means you should be extra careful while releasing your Pokemon, so as to avoid getting into situations like these. Moreover, I do want to add that you were asked to confirm your choice when you dragged the Pokemon to the trash icon. This kind of mistake is always preventable if you're taking the proper precautions. Please upload a screenshot of your released Pokemon's ID. You can refer to this guide on uploading images within forum posts.
