As said on the Complete Kanto Walkthrough, you do not lose your money after beating the elite 4, you get to keep all of your money. And also, as PurpleMauth has said above, once you go to Johto you will not be able to use Pokémon from other regions until you obtain the 8th badge. However, you do retain access to your money and items and can use them in Johto. You can sell and trade Pokémon in Johto without 4 badges, however they must be Johto Pokémon. Put all of your items in your backpack when you go to Johto, not on pokemon. You can still access the item in the backpack after you are in Johto. By looking at your pokemon's stats you can see at the top whether it was caught in Johto or Kanto, as seen on this example. Even though my Swasbuck is Gen V it's considered Kanto because that's the region where it was captured. You can also use this Complete Johto Walkthrough incase you need any help for when you decide to go to Johto! That being said since your question is answered, I will now lock the thread. Hey there Bhabs! If you don't want to go to Hoenn right away after you beat Johto, you can try doing some of the side-quests after the story. There are a few quests you can do and a few places to visit.some of the quests you can do are the subway quest, the celadon daily quest, free Arcanine Mount quest, free Teddiursa hat, Miltank farm quest and the Bug catching Contest! You can also try your luck with battling some of the bosses or test your strength in unranked or ranked pvp! Some of the places you can visit are Mt Silver, Love Island, Dock Island, Trainers Valley (if you have access), and the Sevii Islands! You can read more about the benefits of membership here, and having membership will allow you to visit the Sevii Islands!

As you were instructed on your previous post, you needed to submit a picture on this post that had evidence that you had scored 290+ points score (or 400+ if they caught shiny pokemon). This screenshot required the contest hall map, points score visible and the pokemon's stats sheet itself. If you did not post on that thread meeting those requirements before the client update, you were supposed to make a post with an image that met those requirements. I am sorry to have to inform you of this, but because you did not make a post on that thread that meets those requirements you will have to try to catch another pokemon that has a score of 290+ to obtain volcarona wings and you will then get them as a prize from the contest judge.
